Thank you. Lots of practice. She loved the repair.
Nice video! Thanks for showing your approach to the repair.
Thanks for watching, I actually took a different approach than I usually would. Good results still!
No tricks here Frogmanvc, This is not a full tutorial of how to repair a dent this an overview.
Outstanding job, I myself am not comfortable using a torch, I rather use a heat gun but you have mad skills. Thanks for sharing. How long have you been doing PDR? You do real clean work.
Thanks for the comment. Just keep that torch always moving and check the panel temp you will be fine. Heat gun is certainly preferred. I have been doing PDR for about 6 years or so now. I only service a few dealers, mostly retail jobs.
Very skillfull
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice clean repair !👍
Thank you, appreciate the comment.
Fantastic work, flawless. What year is that Subaru? I have a similar dent on my 2006 MX-5 (in mint condition), but my metal is no where near that soft.
Thanks for the comment, it was a 2017 I believe. Subaru metal is very soft but generally I don't like it because it moves in smaller sections.
Was much does a job like this cost ?
Generally speaking a 1" dent starts off at around $150 or so in my market. A 6" dent on a bodyline on most vehicles would be in the $450-600 price range. I cant recall but this was in the $425 range I believe.
