How to remove hail damage | Dent lifter Glue pull Dent tools
Inside this video I will be doing some hail damage repair
To a 2021 Kia Seletos. This car was hit hard in a recent hail storm leaving it destroyed with dents. Hail damage this severe takes time and a lot of patience. Using the right pdr dent tools can help speed the process up. I used hot glue with a dent lifter on the rails. The dents on the roof were repaired with a dent hog and whale tails. The dent hog had a soft tip to remove a large amount of metal with less pushing. Extreme dent repair like this is a mental game one dent at a time.

  • That’s amazing! I had some minor hail damage and my insurance sent a guy over my house to fix it and 2 hours later he was done, it was incredible how it looked he even took care of some non hail damage too. Magicians.

  • Thank you!! I have a coin size dent in my roof. When I was changing out a new sunroof cassette and had the roof liner down I thought I'd have nice access and could try to push it up. Turns out there was a secondary sheet metal blocking it. I see your strategy and your whale tails!! And then also your glue plugs and mini puller. I will give it another go!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!

    • i just turned 68. my car suffered similar damage, and was declared a repairable write off. I accepted the insurers payout, i also purchased the vehicle back from them, at a ridiculously low price. i spent a saturday filling ,sanding and sealing the dent repairs. had the roof wrapped, and the other small number of the dents on the bodywork professionaly repaired. the result was that i kept the car and made a 8k profit.

  • I love the instruction and explanation involved in your videos. I really want to get into this type of body repair. I like the idea of repairing original parts. My only problem is I'm a hands on kinda guy and i don't have the money to buy all these tools and take courses. Keep up the good work though. You are a great teacher.

    • No Fred, your only problem is low trust in yourself and very limiting beliefs. Any journey starts with a first step forward. Here is a plan for you : find a repair shop, offer to be an apprentice there for a few hours a day for 2 weeks for free under the deal that once you can repair very minor damage they agree to pay you a set of basic PDR tools and one or two full courses. All it takes for you is to find a shop that will give you a chance and you to be volunteering honestly and heartedly.
