Rebekah designed this gorgeous tiny home with hosting friends and her little cat in mind. She made sure that there would be adequate seating and plenty of table places for drinks and eating when hosting. The kitchen has more storage than a typical tiny house, with cabinets, drawers, and a staircase holding more helpful space. You'll find a bathtub/shower combo sitting next to the quaint vanity and flushing toilet. There are hidden spots for the kitties business and an entire loft dedicated to guests, which she admits that the cat uses most of the time. Rebekah's tall clothing closet holds her downsized wardrobe with room to spare. The exterior of this beautiful home is saturated with plants, flowers, and herbs galore! Although this tiny home is mobile, she plans to stay put until further opportunities come her way.

There is enough room in this tiny house for a decent sized sewing area. You can buy all-in-one sewing cupboards that are like open sesame.

This is the first tiny house I've seen where realistic/ useful storage was actually implemented in the design and the kitchen and bathroom are both useable!
As a single mom, i have one kid. I'd love to be able to do this!! 🥰

There are blinds that move up from the bottom so you can still have day light and a view while maintaining privacy. It would be nice to see more use of such window treatments.
I bought those and when they were delivered 3 of them for $632 on sale, someone had stolen my package just 40 minutes after I got home from when I received the text the package was delivered to my door. I was so upset! After that I just went to Home Depot and bought blackouts like she has but blackouts. I’d buy the up/down blinds again my next home and blackouts. .. ☺️
OMG! I love those shades. I got new windows in February. I had blinds on all the windows that had to be taken down for installation. Because I live in the humid south also, tint was added to block sun heat. I hate it. I like my sun and since I'm older you need more light to see. The blinds would block more sun so we put up curtains. Plus they're cheap. I still have my front bay window with no treatment. (Been using paper shades for privacy at night. Those are great. They're $5. You can cut with scissor to size. At Home Depot.) I hadn't a clue what to do there and wanted all my light to come in. Thanks for letting me know that they can be installed from the bottom. The windows can be opened from the top too, so this will work well. I'm so excited. Thanks. 👏👏🙂

How much was the entire built? And looks like your in an rv park. Is rent high? I am very interested in doing this.
I've watch hundred's of Tiny Home Video's over the last few years and this, by far, is one of my absolute favourites. Loving the wood color, NO greys because it seems everyone uses grey, the fact there is a bathtub and washer & dryer is bonus. Every aspect is layed out so seemlessly. The plants give it a definite feel of nature indoors. Just really appealing to me. She did a fantastic job!
Even the stairs are well planned. Not too steep nor too narrow.

Love everything except the bedroom.. I'd definitely break my neck or bruised head one day on that low ceiling .. i hear it's the main reasons many regrets& move out of tiny home living because if that's where most of us spend most of our life/ time, it needs to be spacious as tall as we are.. to stand up& stretch hands up when you get up is the best first thing you do as "exercise."

This is a beautiful and practical tiny house. Nice planning. Re: humidity in tinies, a lot of owners have said that a dehumidifier is essential, and they were not even in Florida!
Linda...... I live in the Texas Panhandle and a humidifier is mandatory here it's dry we very seldom get rain, lots of dust and dirt blows because we get high winds a lot. I'm not sure a de humidifier would be good for here but I don't know. May have to get one and try 🤔
@@lindatimmons3675 if it's very dry where you live, it makes sense that humidifiers are mandatory. Is that the case in a full size house also? I doubt that you'd need a dehumidifier in Texas, Arizona, or any other dry state. It pulls the excess humidity out of the air, and collects it in a bin. The mandatory bathroom exhaust fan should be adequate, but I digress, I live in the Upper PNW, on the south side of the border. We have weather swings here like there's no tomorrow. It's like Mother Nature going through menopause....😂
@@lindatimmons3675 When you live in a very dry climate, a humidifier is essential in the house. We lived in a dry area and everything we touched would zapp our fingers and it can really hurt! That static electricity, dry skin, and the really fine dust that collects can be controlled by putting moisture back into the house. When you live with humidity and a lot of moisture in the air ( it rains a lot, near the ocean, humid climate) you have to have a dehumidifier to pull out as much as you can. If you dont, everything gets moldy pretty bad. My friend lived in Florida and she found a cluster of mushrooms growing under her couch and mold on her clothes in the closet.
I hope she invested in a dehumidifier. Mold is a real concern in Tiny Homes. My husband and I along with our 2 girl and 3 small dogs lived in a camper for 7 years. I say camper because it was built before the Tiny Home Movement. We live in Tennessee and we started having problems with humidity our first summer. Anyway, her home is beautiful. Does she say how long it is?
She has nailed the design here. 10/10 beautiful and practical.

Rebekah, dude you knocked it out of the park with your re-design on this build. This is hands down the most thought out tiny home I've seen yet, easily moved up to the top of my dream list. Props to your builder for coming through with the craftmanship and allowing you the freedom to really put your own spin on this -- I'll for sure be checking them out and if I were them, I'd be making your design the go-to because I'd take one in a heartbeat. I love the kitchen. Many tiny houses don't have enough counter space to prep food. This looks just right.

She is so amazing and thoughtful. This is the best-planned tiny house and it’s so spacious, I would actually consider it! Every detail is seen to. She did a fantastic job and could get paid designing this for other people who don’t know what to do or ask for! The wood tones, the blinds, the countertop depth, the stairs! So much is thought out. I’m so impressed. I’m really glad she showed the blinds because I was just thinking, “wait - what about privacy, where are the windows treatments?”, when she pulled it down. Phew 😄. LOVE this tiny house! Totally what I like with the white wood and the warm honey-toned wood, the grey and black to give it substance and the metal airy chair to sparkle. Exquisite. Also can't live without plants. Only thing I would customize for me, is to have a bit more color in it too in some accessories and a painting. The cat to make it a home! A special place for the litter box, that doubles as a seat at the table. Genius!
One of the BEST Tiny Homes I ever saw. I do believe it's All the Windows. I Love Windows and in a Tiny place you WANT windows and Light Colors of Walls and Floors too which this place has it. The dark wood is so little and where it doesn't matter.
I've looked at a lot of tiny homes and this one is near the top of the list. I love it!

She gave this a lot of thought before the build & it came out great with lots of storage space. I love how how she managed to put in that sectional, looks more comfortable than the small sofas that are usually in a tiny home. This is one of my favorite tiny homes that I have seen.

I’m in Florida too…I have wanted a tiny home way before they became popular and now that I can finally afford the one I want, materials have gone sky high and so has land. Seems I can’t get ahead! So I bought a tiny condo in PCB. ☺️ I love all the plants which keep the air fresh inside your small space too.

These tiny home tours are getting better and better! I love the light, bright space, all the plants are a very nice touch. Just my opinion, those stairs are scary, but she's young and navigates them very well. Beautiful tiny home!👍🌸

Well try.. just start with seeing only what you really need.
Start by reorganizing your dresser/wardrobe or something in the house. Sometimes we put away things we think we might need later, or things we think we will deal with later, and stuff ends up just sitting in closets for ages occupying space. After that, you can try throwing away or donating the things you havent used in a long time or wont use/need again. Another thing people in tiny homes probably do is have multi purpose objects and just smaller things, like her small microwave. That can save up a lot of space!

Beautiful tiny house! You have done a great job designing it just for you and your needs. The secondary loft is such a versatile place. It could be a combination office/craft/reading/cat bedroom/guest room! Or even a prayer and meditation room. Whatever you need! I also have my MSW - you will find you have a LOT of choices with your degree. I read once that social workers do 140 different kinds of jobs! Isn’t that crazy? They vary depending on the population you work with and whether you do clinical or administration type jobs. My specialties are medical social work, critical care, and crisis intervention with victims of violent crime. Sounds like you enjoy working with children so there are lots of jobs in the field where you can do that. I think you have made a great choice building your tiny house. I think it’s important to be transparent about cost and income. Not many young people can pay for school to the level of a Master’s, pay back school loans, not work in your degree filed, nanny for one child (part time), and afford to custom build even a tiny home. Sounds like you had lots of help. That said, love your adorable tiny!!

Right. It’s much more helpful when the people doing these videos give an idea of costs, financing, how to situate, how to find a builder etc. I have a feeling this was done with a lot of help from Daddy.

Oh my gosh, I watch this video like every 3 months. I absolutely Love this lay out and design! I seriously would be grateful if I could use this same layout for a tiny house build! It is Beautiful and at the same time an intelligent way of adding extra storage and the floorplan is awesome! Thank you for sharing! Ps I have been working with children for 25 yrs. Taught Pre-K and focused on Early Childhood education.

I couldn't deal with that bedroom; even with that great lens the bedroom looks uncomfortable! If it was a vacation place, it would be alright, kinda like a camper, but not for a permanent living!
