This gorgeous DIY tiny house is home to Liz and her innovative business that sits quietly in the backyard area. With two soaking tubs for seaweed cleansing, and an outdoor shower, you leave feeling rejuvenated and restored. Upon entering her living space, there's similar energy with clean white as a base with honey tones accenting throughout. The kitchen is the largest area and extremely inviting with its large windows and open layout. The ceiling fan seems to be the eye-catcher of her living room aside from the fun 80's style lounge chair that swivels and unfolds into a bed.
The coziest corner of her home hosts a wood-burning stove that suits the relaxed vibe Liz carries. Her bedroom is large, with a closet to match and storage underneath her raised bed. As soon as you walk into the bathroom, your focus turns to the massive window in the shower and the different textures everywhere, including a brass sink and dark metalwork. This tiny home has 18 windows, an abundance of unique decorations, and countless hours put in by her and her parents for the finishing result.

I wish people would talk more about dimensions, specs, floor plans, costs, and permits instead of their businesses, decor, and personal choices. This home is great because it isn't mobile so it is wider than a home on wheels.
I agree!! I want to see floor plans, space dimensions & storage, not personal decor. I don't care where the rugs, hooks & wall decorations came from.
Her parents built the home, on their property. The cost was probably minimal.

@@michellestratford9753 they very greatly. Anything from 100 to 400 Square feet. But on a trailer that can be moved, they are usually around 8 feet wide and I think the most common woukd be 20 feet long. So maybe about 250ish if you include a loft. But many are way longer, especially if it's for a family.
She’s fortunate to have family land that allows her to live & work as she prefers.

She's fortunate to have the skill and mindset that she inherited from her parents to take on such a project and execute it masterfully. Her parents helped her, which is absolutely a bonus! She didn't simply sit on a couch and watch them do all the work! She spoke on what she witnessed from her parents growing up, obviously being very impacted by their example of being self sufficient! I would very happily accept a corner of a piece of land if my parents had it to give as any children would! 😁 I'm happy for her, I'm greatly enjoying seeing tons of women building their own Tiny Homes! I LOVE it and I'm proud of them!! Yessssssss, you go girl!!!! Inspiring women all over!!! 💪🤗😁 PS - There are very young adults building their own Beautiful Tiny Homes! I have been blown away by the homes that I've seen!!! 😱😱 They're so talented and starting off smart from a very young age as they set themselves up to be free of the mortgage and rent ball and chains! Many making plans to retire and be debt free by 30 or in their 30s!!! I watch these kids in amazement and just smile! I know their parents are so proud of them! I watched a vid tonight where this young couple traveled and found land to buy, where they are going to build their own Tiny Home Community!!!!!😱Yes, it is a wonderful thing when parents can help but making such moves are that of the individuals!! Don't you just Love it! 😁🤗 I do! Likely many of the future young adult Tiny Home builders will be/ are being inspired by this lovely woman's master piece and her story as well!!! They will likely teach their children and demonstrate for their children the same impactful example!!
Well, she also is lucky that 2 houses could be built on the same plot of land. America has so many restrictions.

I came here to say that. So many of these unconventional homes seem to use the term "tiny home" from an extreme point of privilege imo. High quality materials, personal design, gorgeous location, HIGH CEILINGS, etc etc. I will say, that more often than not though, these builders and dwellers are highly conscious of sustainability which is awesome! It doesn't hurt to have the added incentive of a monetized presence on KZhead about it either 🤣

It is so beautiful! I love her entire aesthetic. I think the black and white with the honey colored wood and little pops of brass is magnificent it’s modern with a touch of boho but clean boho. It’s stunning. Her home has everything anyone would need and it’s set on such a beautiful property, it’s a little touch of heaven. Well done!
I like that she put a personal touch to her home, the sink from morocco, the little dining table from her dad and bringing memorable pieces from her travel and making it a part of her house. What makes it a home is it's filled with memories. Absolutely beautiful 👏👏👏

Very nice. But honestly just looks like a small cottage - about the size of my Grandmother’s 1930’s built home. Perhaps even bigger & my grandma raised 4 kids in her modest space w/no washer or dryer. 😂 I think it was a modified version of The Raymond - a Montgomery Ward kit home. The advert reads like a tiny house dream. I recall her closet was a small corner with a curtain, her pantry a few square shelves on the back stoop, & her counter space was her kitchen table. But she had ample space to sit on the front porch & keep an eye on the neighbors. 😄 But times do change along with our perceptions of space.
What a lovely home and business. Contrary to many comments, I found the layout/floor plan easy to follow. However, I do very much agree with the poor coverage on certain aspects of the tiny home - it was frustrating that the cameraman failed to zoom in or highlight what the homeowner was discussing, such as the bathroom organization, and boxes under the bed etc. While it may seem trivial to some, I did find that it took away from the tour overall as I am someone who enjoys seeing all the creative ways people design/decorate and live tiny.
I love it, I think it's the best tiny house I've seen so far and believe me I've seen a lot on u tube, its beautiful. All the very best frm England

If you consider the size of the Living room and dinning table it is not huge, vaulted ceilings make space seem twice as large. The bedroom conversion from the shed has given extra space but I still see it as a tiny home that was created by experienced DYI crafts women/man ship. 😉
well I think it's a matter of opinion what one calls tiny maybe to her it's tiny we don't know the size home her parents have the 1she grew up in perhaps compared to what she's used to it is tiny and also she added on the bedroom that was a garage so without that it would be your typical tiny home I love it. she's very talented as well as blessed I would give anything to have something like this of my own
Beautifully done and well designed. A tip: try using wool dryer balls to prevent the sheet winding up as well as reducing static & softening naturally. Love the bathroom sink, all the windows, the customizations, tub (not usually found in a tiny house), first floor bedroom, great sized kitchen, good storage, deck and lovely setting.

This house is SO dope. LOVE IT. Love the shed style roof (oh, my dream) and I love the bedroom, the kitchen and that bath is to die for. Also I like the stone around the wood stove, very inviting.

I absolutely love this house!! Some many great things to mention as in the separate bedroom off the breezeway, large kitchen and the amazing chair in the living room, wrap around deck and all normal size appliances, just to mention a few of them. Nicely done!

I loved everything about this Tiny House, it looks amazing.
The swivel chair is amazing and I would have bought a zillion of them but a super good idea. I love the coffee table too that you made. The whole house just is so natural and so relaxing and just kind of called your spirit out instead of having so many wild colors and so many pieces of furniture

I was thinking the same! Her family is clearly super rich and privileged. Which is cool, but this is nowhere near a tiny home, or fiscally frugal. The fact that she thinks it is shows what extreme privilege she's used to. Having a 4 or 5 hundred dollar piece of wood just tossed in her parents garage like it's superfluous junk proves that😅.

Really appreciate this DIY project, that reflects what the owner/occupant wanted to reflect her needs, artistic tastes, her own creative work, her travels. DIY-ing has to be very satisfying, once the work is done. Perhaps she will do another video in which she shows us the specially constructed wood boxes under the bed. The blend of indoors and outdoors as living spaces shows a lot of thought. This little place stands out among all the pre-fab tiny houses parked on rental lots. I am always wondering how well they hold up in severe storms with high winds. Thank you for this video!

Be sure to stretch the sheet out before you put it in the dryer. It seems a pain, but if you stop the dryer a couple of times and shake out, meaning unwind it, it will dry faster.
