    • @@ej3016 I felt that way too and then I bought an RV without one. I have one of those 10 in one air fryers so I can just bake, toast, air fry etc. in that. A toaster oven also works great.

  • What I like about this house is that they have so much of storage space for toys / cloths for the kids. As compare to other tiny house I’ve seen, most storages are for the parents. And what I also like is that they have enough area for her kid’s bed. And if they still not getting new land / tiny house, they could always convert the loft storage into their kid’s private space once she get a little bigger.

    • Beautiful and thoughtfully designed home. Great comment. When I saw their alcohol I immediately thought the same thing. They are so careful with safety which is great. But children unfortunately do get alcohol poisoning. It's appealing to try since adults are modeling it's OK to drink and children are great at immitating. A roll down lockable door in the back of the storage cabinet would solve the problem quickly.

      @lynettedouville8826@lynettedouville88264 жыл бұрын
    • Lynette Douville we don’t use tanks (black/grey) of either kind. Solid waste is taken out of the toilet and disposed of. Urine is diverted into a French drain in the ground, along with the rest of the waste water in the house. It is diluted by all the non-Urine grey water, and put back into the ground.

I flipped two mobile homes then built two Tiny Houses, one Throw & one two-fer (A-clasd RV paired with a 14x20 Amish barn) with a bonus 10ft by 20ft camper. Love your Tiny House multi-family build. My law-situation family is not working out as loving as yours. Mother-in-law of 36 yrs has stiffed me twice on everything I should own, like acreage I have paid her for. All my obligations and fully paid for as contracted. I am about ready to walk away & join van life. My advice do everything with a lawyer. The day of the “ I am good as my word hand shake“ is over. • Andrew Cunningham 1 second ago Duly noted, and of course that makes sense. But also, this is a tiny house, and our daughter is never really out of sight or unsupervised. Also, she knows that she doesn't like those things... coffee, beer, wine... she has smelled and has no interest in them. For now, this works, with the constant adult eye and presence that accompanies tiny living.

Obviously this nice couple would never put their little one in any danger and Andrew has expressed more than once that their daughter is always in the same room as them. I just think some people don’t realize how rude that is but I’m sure if others were to tell you how to parent you would not take to it either. What a beautiful set up. I can only imagine how much it fills grandma's heart to be so included with her growing family. I'll bet their daughter will grow to be mentally strong and not predisposed to developing some sort of mental illness later in life which stems from her childhood, like so many others. Of course there would be denfinate downsides, but the benefits seem to far outweigh them in the long run. Thank you for sharing!! :)

  • FINALLY, stairs in a tiny home with a railing! Don't know why most tiny-homers seem to enjoy the possibility of falling off a staircase

    • Wilma Flintstone LOL! IKR! I finally had to stop watching any of the ones with a loft or "second floor." My stomach would always be tied in knots, by the time they came back down the steps. It just wasn't worth it. I don't think any builder in the State of Ohio is allowed to sell anything like that without protective handrails, at minimum. (I'm only here because I took too long typing my comment on the previous 1-floor Tiny Home, and the queue kept going. (: )

    • Wilma Flintstone I literally just said this to myself. The railing is important. i don’t wanna fall onto one of those mini corners.

    • Well, most tiny houses only are like three or four steps high..so it’s not really a big deal.

  • I love this home! I love your bedroom and your daughter's little nook. I'm a single mum and shared a bedroom with my 2yr old daughter; you REALLY need space for her and space for you. I LOVE THIS!!!
