    • No, one of the members had a booking, he cancelled it. There is no doubt on capabilities of Scorpio N, its up there with the best but the clearance especially approach and departure with vulnerable parts that may cause instant breakdown makes it unsuitable for our kind of use.

    • Thar is smaller so requires less fuel, its also a local brand and from a lower segment to cheaper to maintain as well.

  • Does the Compass have a proper low range transfer case or something else? Please answer...

    • No low range transfercase, just a very short first gear allocated to be used as 4 low, doesnt serve the same purpose as dedicated transfercase but better than all other crossovers.

    • No, even the Trailhawk did the first climb, later ones were too extreme for even Trailhawk. Yeti has much lower clearance and no low range gearing.

    • We sold the last Gypsy that was left in the group. We do a lot of touring offroad, Gypsy is absolute pathetic in that use case.

    • Well this Volvo is 2015. We live in NCR, we cant keep Diesels that old. I know about capabilities of first gen Touareg and Cayenne.

  • The volvo xc90 could have done better if the driver floors the throttle. My volvo xc90 has done better when I have done off roading at a similar place Proof of my volvo is in my banner.

  • I don't really understand what jeep compass is doing here. With just 170 mm + ground clearance, it will do a serious damage to the car in such terrains

    • That's why Compass only attempted only the first climb and not the later ones which required more clearance and traction.

    • Obviously… it has a proper ladder on frame built. It is equipped with proper transfer case. No comparison.
