  • I'm a brown belt, 10+ years of training and have had the privilege of watching plenty of DVDs and attending seminars from many coaches in Brazil, and some foreign ones. That being said, I have purchased 5 of John's DVDs and have attended two of his classes and I can say, without a doubt, he is the best, most articulate coach, with the best material and best teaching skills in the world, bar none.

I've been doing BJJ since 2003 and when I did my 1st private in 2016 he showed me how to do a RNC significantly more effective & that's one of the 1st moves you learn when you start.

  • These instructions from John danaher are so fluid and the best around. Everything is well thought out and instructed to the very best ability in an easy to understand approach even with the camera angles.

  • Went to my first class today just practicing fundamentals, primarily escaping a pin from side-control. Slightly different method but the approach was very much the same. This kind of video is really eye-opening.

  • I spent 2 years plus learning BJJ. This 'primer' is so good that it fixed many of my errors in my escapes and even gave me a game plan against all opponents. You sir are a wizard and your material is well worth the price. Think about it. Imagine you're in a self defense situation. This primer makes sure you end up at least in guard and attempting to take the opponents back. No "noise". No "nonsense" The first 2 years is really confusing as we are just groping with all the major things in jiu jitsu without delving into the details and cementing the nervous system reflexes to carry out the motions flawlessly. If I had your instructionals since the beginning I'm absolutely sure i would have reached blue belt in a year training just twice a week and spending a few hours a week drilling your techniques with a partner.
