Just an update: yesterday, all 11 of the Mayanbula cubs were found with the rest of the pride, and one of the younger lionesses has also given birth to new cubs!! The young males haven’t been seen again when the Skorro brothers returned from the east🦁🦁✊

Outstanding sighting🔥Right in the thick of it following these two impressive young guns, this is usually the most dangerous period in the life of male lions as they don’t have a territory of their own & are forced to cross into the territories of resident pride males leading to potentially fatal conflicts & it's heading towards a possible showdown if they stick around. It will either make or break them, there's serious risks involved in trespassing & scent marking in the Skorro King's territory & they govern with violence. I'm sure the Skorro Kings would be aware but for now, that the beautiful Mayambula pride & cubs are safe & well nourished. Skorro brothers need to take care of these 2 before their cubs are killed. Younger shorter maned male looks pretty big. I still think skorro brothers will come out on top. They are in their absolute prime.
I hope the cubs stay safe and skorro males chase these two away rather then fight. These are two beautiful young males and I would hate for anything to happen to them either. Maybe they won’t hang around.

I don't like when they fight to the death and/or seriously injure each other, although I know it's part of their natural instinct to do that. The cubs are so cute! Hope you have a great evening! 😊

Omg, these 2 studs r definitely Young & Restless. Lions, lions oh lions, they r for sure offer hoomans more drama than any daytime soap. What a relief to hear 11 cubs & moms r ok & 1 pride lioness just gave birth. What an amazing pride! Pride, pride indeed. Bow down to the lionesses & the 2 Skorro brothers. Happier to know the Blackdam & the Mouwana r safe. All lions r in their respective elements. An extra bonus to see mums & cubs enjoy their meal. Your sightings are often sublime. TYVM CS 🏆 🙏 😝

Lions are soo smart! I am sure the Kings are well aware of the threat and are strategizing as we speak. The Skorro males can't be impulsive; they must be thoughtful and move with precision. I believe the Skorro males know exactly what they are doing!

It warms my heart to see a meal time where the cubs have enough food & space to sit and eat without all the difficulties that come with sharing with an entire pride. I hate to hear of prides spitting but it is a necessity for the survival of the younger cubs.

Another phenomenal sighting while we were with you at Rockfig! Everyday was more incredible than the one before it! Can't wait to get back next year and see how these 8 cubs are doing!
I just hope that there won't be a mortal encounter between the Skorro males💞and the two Black Dam males💞I like them all...but I find that the BDMs are still young to claim or try something facing two males in their prime, the best is to go to another sector…I hope the Lionesses and the little ones are well and that they will be careful of them💞 Thank you for the video🙂

The one thing that can't happen is the pride males split up, that's when Nomads get the best of them , always 2 on 1 , could end in a fight to the death or wound one of the males for life, they get those back legs/ hips and always gets them later in life!! please big boys stay together and hold your ground, even know the Nomadic males split for now , they'll be back or around the area. !! Odd how mothers are fiercely protective of the cubs, yet selfish at the carcas.
The five Birmingham breakaway males are in that area as well and did chase the Skorro males.
They're not even a challenge to the big skorro males they young don't know how to fight..lol

You have to reminded these skorrow males know what going on there tland they in out of there territory bro but comes to young males evade they don't stand a chance with a fight!! These dormitory males.wait for.right opportunities in night time catch them off guard!!

Who and where did u hear and see that because that’s completely false, the Birmingham breakaways are split into groups and even if they weren’t I don’t see them risking injury and possibly death fighting probably the 2 healthiest, strongest & biggest coalition of 2 in all of sabi sands although this part of the area is the timbavati, however none of these youngsters know wat their getting themselves into but tresspassing in the skorro boy’s territory with all of the maybula females who is just as fierce as their big pride males so I’m not at all believing normads chasing out the two skorro boys, they would rather fight to the death before leaving this vast territory

The Threats Are Surreal! My, my, my, this is not good and at some point, something has to give. The Skorro Males vocalizing from the East and the girls moving the cubs towards the East is great news, hopefully, they will meet up with the Skorros very soon. It's great to see that the girls and cubbies have enjoyed a big meal to sustain them and the girls don't appear to be that nervous about the intruders, maybe it's because they know that the big boys are nearby. I'm hoping that the Skorros come on in and handle these nomads for the protection of their pride and territory. It's never my desire to see death or injury to come to any of these magnificent creatures, however, this is life and the dominate males have to handle business. It bothers me to hear that the Birmingham Breakaways are a threat as well. I'm really hoping that they will move on out of the Skorros territory because an altercation with that bunch will most likely not end well. I love all prides involved in this unfortunate unfolding scene, however, the Mayanbula Pride and the cubs are my first and foremost concern. I hope that the other lioness will pick up the other two cubs and move them to join up with the rest of the pride. I'm hoping that the remarkable Skorros are close by and they eliminate the threat from the nomads and be prepared to deal with the Birmingham Breakaways who are a much greater threat. I'm praying for a great ending all around. This has been an awesome update and we're looking forward to the next sequel, thanks and blessings to you all Mr. Christof!

They assessed the area for a while until the Skorro males pushed them out probably. I remember a sighting of them where they headed back south after this episode, they weren’t a worthy challenge at the end of the day👍😄👍

Last question, Are the Black Rock Boys far from there ? Getting a map to eliminate irrelevant questions I promise and have some knowledge before I come there ! I love to get out hiking hard but not a good idea there I suspect ? There’s some snakes there that make ours look like worms , Cobras that can spit venom in your eyes or the is it Rock snake or something like that ? Don’t mind touching or even ate some timber rattlers on a NR school outing up really high near the Sierra Nevadas and the John Muir trail , At 8,000 or a bit higher few reside up there, I was wrong , Some areas they thrive , Take care Kevin

They're in the area the guides said they been vocalizing in area,, so they already know threat of many young males!!there gonna hand full next few months but sorrow males are and huge they be fine!!

Hey Pops ! I know you hated getting up for lions 🦁 late ! I hear ya, To think as a guy whose around constantly and the armchair Podcast adorations are quite …. In Natural Resources up in the Sierra Nevada range in Northern Calif so I hear ya, And the new addition Congrats 🎈! Now helping with D duty to being awakened constantly or maybe not ? Child proofing in Africa quite the challenge with what nature has, I would be out in the yard killing any black widows if any had come that way to other in the house safety steps you must be on point on, Yea , Getting back to watching just a few Naturalist following these to me intriguing creatures , You get semi confused on the coalitions or geographic foundation there , So it makes questions seem incompetent at times, One till I get a map, Negala ( right?) is near your Lodge or camp ? The Ross brothers who took the Birmingham original lone makes pride and ran him off had a lone Birmingham son with a white sis who stuck around 31/2 to4 years and that’s a hard task weaving in and out at opportune times to avoid setting out as a lone male with the dynamics unfolding ! I wouldn’t embrace it, Hey I since teen yrs have had a second vehicle Jeep with overdrive and winch and put the windshield down and go in deep through rivers and much more and know that vibe , On that male cousin of the Birmingham Breakaway boys are you privy to this info or ? Not trying to give a dumb question Christof just seriously curious and last year towards the end got nowhere , Plan to come and experience what Africa is today and the 🔥 fireside late nights that occasionally transpire with a few colds ones after a 🥵 hot day , So 🍻 Cheers on your so ! My feeling is if the Skorro Males show up with the 4 Lionesses and there 8 cubs and the 2 Nomads at the same time the Nomads will lose. For I feel that the Lionesses will fight with the Skorrpo Males against the 2 Nomads to protect their cubs. I have this in my lions BOOK were this has happen be for with other Prides and coalitions it is SAD when other coalition try to take over another`s Pride but us HUMANS do the same thing when we go to war with others to... TC all be SAFE out there in Mother Nature... RA 68 HELL FIRE

Hey Guys ! Have you ever heard of or seen in a PRIDE TAKEOVER the lions taking over did not kill the either young cubs or a bit older ? Also the pride makes notoriously kick out their sons around two yrs old , Have you seen or heard where they let them stay how’s that turn out ? Also if they won’t leave and hang on the fingers at two ish do they kill their sons or give them a brutal but non lethal butt kicking ? I seen about every video give or take some and have a Jeep and deal with the wildlife in our Sierra Nevadas since I kid been out all day in our woods , So I understand our animals and Cougars etc, COULD YOU PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ABOVE I ASKED ! What does a male lion do if he rules long enough for his daughters to reach breeding age? Does he leave the pride to conquer new females?
Thanks for the Question 🙋♂️ it will depend if he is pressured by new males. The average reign of a male lion is 2-3 years but if the coalition is more than 2 males it may be longer. Inbreeding has been documented into the 4 generation.
7:02 that's a BIG F$%&ING LION! the video does not show the actual size of that animal, but if you stand before it, believe me, your heart will jump to the sky fast in absolute fear. your eyes will dilate bigger than the moon's diameter and bulge out in terrifying fear. it's a huge beast. easily 500 or 600 lbs. it has been eating a lot of animals lately. it seems strong and healthy. now why did God or nature or the universe create such formidable beasts?
The Mowana male seems to be walking great. I really would like black dam males sons to establish themselves but this makes me nervous for them.
I believe this Monwana males sired by Trilogy males, not Blackdam male.

@@KO-ei9db I think this is the Guernsey and Monwana Males. The Black Dam males are slightly larger and both have fairly larger manes.
Yes they are the Black Dam males. They made a mistake and corrected it.
Same 2 males that Timbavati Rangers ID'd as Guernsey, and Monwana males, and others said we're the 2 of the 6 Blackdam males.
Either way they need leave area lets hope skorro males dont get ahold them there not ready to fight the big males 💯
