I just stated following these boys & I must say they’re quickly winning my heart ♥️. Bonding in fresh buffalo dung is priceless lol. These boys and their Pride are absolutely beautiful!! They both have a lot of cubbies to protect now which I love.
The boys are sure well fed right now. That is great. If only all of the lions had such success.

A Massive & Muscular Skorro Males Monday! What breathtaking beautiful boys to start the morning with, nothings better than to be graced with these two extraordinary males. They look so phenomenal and strong, in great condition. I love how they stick together and enjoy watching them as they perform bonding rituals. The brother flopping down to bond with big brother was so endearing and funny. King Hairy Belly Matimba was my most favorite lion and these two are reminders that Matimba's Live Forever! Like many others, I appreciate the superb presentations and commentary of the exceptional sightings of which you bring us Mr. Christof and always look forward to the Ride Along, thanks!
I have Hugh respect for male lions simply because there not to be messed with these two look like a force to be reckoned with and they're in fantastic condition live long live safe boys.
Love love love male lions and these two have won my heart. It is so wonderful to see males in their absolute prime and in excellent condition. Favorite part of course the bonding in buffalo dung lol . Thank you for this walk along with these 2 powerful Kings. ❤️❤️❤️

Why don't you guys use infrared???? The regular light seems to bother them while trying to sleep. I'm just wondering if it would be nicer to use the infrared.

They don’t like the light
They’re rolling in the dung because of the pheromones in it. It’s like catnip.
Getting a rush from it because of hormones in the dung is simply then a byproduct but their main intention is to conceal their own sent.
They roll around in different poos because it gives them a sort of high like catnip does the males do it more than the females I watched it on the lion whisperer and he said that's why they do it not for camouflage and not to smell like the animals they hunt
Thanks Joanne but I respectfully disagree. On lion whisperer and in captive environments they don’t hunt buffalo and they also don’t have to deal with change in wind direction. The prey species rely mostly on their sense of smell to detect stalking predators.
That's true they are not in the wild I just thought it would be the same so thank you for the new info lions are my favourite so I'm always here to learn more about them
