    • Absolutely. I’ve said the same thing for years. It’s why I have both Rodgers & Manning ahead of Brady in the GOAT conversation. Brady is obviously the most accomplished QB of all time, but he had a lot of help throughout his career. Manning and Rodgers both lost so many games due their defensives giving up too many points. The same can be said for Brees, but I wouldn’t put him above Brady. Rodgers and Manning are the two best QBs I’ve ever seen.

      @ImVaughnn@ImVaughnn4 ай бұрын
    • @@ImVaughnn Without question, Brady played, especially during his earlier years with some of the best defenses of that particular stretch of time. Not only that but Brady has had a guy like Gronk for the latter part of his career, and Gronk is just absolutely ridiculous as a TE as well. Then in Tampa, he literally gets EVERYTHING handed to him with the amount of talent on his team, my goodness, he threw for 3 INTS and somehow won the game because the Bucs defense that year was just ridiculous. We cannot forget the Fail Mary that happened in Seattle in which Seattle "somehow" had that touchdown, and this was HUGE, because the NFC Championship was played in Seattle, and had that call been correct, the Packers would have hosted, and they were absolutely Undefeated and Unbeatable at Lambeau during that season, in which teams were afraid to play them there. Rodgers has helped put up 30 pts on the offense, however the defense giving up more is just absurd, and let's also not forget the fact that the Packers bypassed So Many Top-Tier WRs in the first round that would have greatly benefited Rodgers during his prime. It's not only a team effort, but also coaching, because Mike McCarthy got so easy to read that even the fans knew what play was coming, and if they know, then surely the defensive schemers of the opposing teams whom are paid and it's their job to do so would know even better. Rodgers should have multiple Super Bowl rings, however so many misfortunes, the Packers organization never going out and giving him the talent around him, the sheer lack of any defense, absolute dog water of a Special Teams, and the inept of the coach during his prime caused so many issues. Even Brady has admitted that HAD Rodgers been playing in NE instead of him under the scheme and coaching of Belicheat, oh wait, Belichick, that Rodgers would have record breaking numbers that wouldn't be touched. Again, winning multiple Super Bowls is a true Team Sport, this isn't like basketball in which someone like Michael Jordan can dictate the offensive as well as the defensive side of the game. Rodgers to me, is the Greatest to to have ever thrown the ball.

  • The man completed a 60 yard hail Mary to Jeff Janis going backwards while he was about to be hit. Two hail Mary's on the same drive, within seconds of one another, against a great defense. That 2nd hail Mary defies the laws of physics and logic. To this day, it's probably the greatest throw I've seen. That, and a throw he completed against Chicago while he was being pulled down, but I don't think it counted. Dual threat QB's are regarded as the most exciting to watch, but Aaron's arm talent and ability to throw on the run, while not being a scrambling QB, is so special, that he's actually one of the most exciting and fascinating QB's to watch, of all time.

    • Aaron is definitely still a dual threat QB though. Not as much as Lamar jackson or mahomes even though young him was definitely comparable. On a consistent basis the guy will still run for a first down or a touchdown when need be while being able to bomb the ball downfield off his back foot while getting chased towards the sideline between 2 defense right into his wide recievers hands like a damn present.

      @lightning10053@lightning100532 жыл бұрын
    • It's honestly disrespectful to call them hail mary's. The one on 4th and 20 on the goal line was just a beautiful throw down field and the second one was like.... impossible. That was obviously a hail mary but it was perfectly placed as far as 60 yard, back foot, on the run, under pressure throws go.
