    • This team should have won multiple super bowls, but the front office screwed everything up after the super bowl!! Not resigning Cullen Jenkins, releasing Nick Barnett, and bad draft decisions!! They should have resigned those players and spent most of their 2011 and 2012 picks on defense!! I love this team, but the bad decisions that they made showed when the defense in 2011 was nonexistent and they were upset by a mediocre giants team that survived because they played against Mark Sanchez and Tony Romo to finish the regular season.

      @KWC223@KWC2236 жыл бұрын
    • While the management/coaching certainly hurt more than it helped, I don’t think you can pin it all on them. That defense, and the secondary specifically, has been hurt by things largely out of the control of staff. Losing Nick Collins and Sam Shields and then having Rollins and Randall being busts (something you can’t REALLY predict) didn’t help.

    • Jubei Yang Favre made idiotic throws into double coverage a lot he literally just threw up a prayer everytime. 2009 NFC championship vs NO Saints he was running out the pocket and threw it into double coverage and it got picked off. Rodgers would throw the ball away. Rodgers like Favre try to extend plays too long that’s why why he get sack a lot but he also haven’t had a good offensive line in awhile

I was there when he had the interception on the "we want the ball and we're gonna score" fiasco. Ha ha... it was bedlam in the stands after that. Strangers hugging and high-fiving, this kid (16 maybe 17) picked me up and jumped and down. Ha ha. Makes me nostalgic too.

It's insane how perfectly the Packers have actually drafted. If you think about it I think they have drafted some of the best teams in the last 10 years. It's not bad drafting that's holding them back it's coaching and management not knowing how to retain key players. Just go look at our draft classes since 05 and tell me I'm wrong.

  • Ain’t that crazy , “Bears lead all time 90-80-6 record” Rodgers caught the Packers up and passed them , that’s how dominant he’s been against Chicago ,the Packers have won 10 more games than Chicago in the series now, that’s a 20 game swing in the overall record. It’s 105-95-6 now for the Packers. And if you go back to before Favre , cause he was just as dominant against them , when Favre first started for the Packers I think at some point he was like 20-4 against the Bears his first decade in the league , so it’s just wild to see now , especially if you were around in the 80’s when it was all Chicago for a long time. Favre and Rodgers only having a ring a piece is such a travesty

  • The game-winning TD pass, while it may seem like ancient history, was significant in the rise of Aaron Rodgers as this was his first late game come from behind NFL victory. Packers fans will remember that Rodgers first season in succession of Brett Favre (2008) was a fine campaign. But the Packers lost an unusual amount of close games to finish 6-10. Fair or not, critics would make the comparison between Rodgers and Favre. "Oh, sure", they would say, "Rodgers can put up big numbers, but can he come through in the last three minutes like Favre?" In 2008, the answer was no. But in this opening Sunday Night game of 2009, Rodgers silenced those critics.
