1:54 the only thing I hope is that this thing appears in some chapter of poppy playtime (either as a secondary enemy) and not only in project: playtime. Also, something I notice is that each toy seems to have a different house method and behavior that is very similar to real life animals, huggy wuggy behaves similar to a jaguar, stealthily waiting for its prey to show up to pounce on it and bite it on the head or neck, Mommy Longlegs, despite being based on a spider, behaves more like a squid, waiting from its hiding place for prey to approach, reaching out its arms to grab it tightly and drag him to the hideout, and Boxy Boo behaves like a frogfish, camouflaging himself in his environment until his prey approaches and waits for any movement of the prey to attack at the right time, the truth is quite curious and interesting that the toys have a behavior or house method similar to that of animals in real life

I love it that you introduce new, cool and horrifying characters in your game chapters, boxy boo was a great monster and is considered one of my favourite poppy playtime characters
I find it ironic that according to the lore, Boxy wasn't as popular of a toy as some of the others. Yet when he was revealed in this trailer, he became an immediate fan-favorite.

How tf was this a low budget trailer? This is one of the most sick and disturbing video games trailers I've seen in a while, seeing huggy wuggies teeth with the arm out, I nvr found him scary tbh, but this trailer gave me a brand new respect for him
While I'm not exactly a fan of the concept but the animation looks great as always courtesy of the mob animation team.
This is such an improvement in every way, that smooshed Huggy face genuinely jumpscared me, the way Huggy moves his mouth instead of just hanging. I just wish they actually gave us some gameplay so we know what it’s like.

i think project playtime is supposed to be taking place during the hour of joy and you play as one of the employees that was still there when the toys came to life to kill employee
I don’t know why, but Boxy Boo quickly eating that guy and then immediately going back into his box is weirdly funny to me for some reason.

The way boxy boo just comes out so menacingly only to just make a subtle and quick eating motion and go back into hiding is hilarious to me.

It´s name is really Boxy Boo?! First it was Huggy Wuggy (the name really resembles that it was a toy thought/designed for children but it doesn't sound ridiculous at all), then Mommy Long Legs (altough the villain was pretty scary, the name sounds everything but villainous), and now Boxy Boo (it literally makes me grin to even think of it). By the way, I sincerely apologise for any possible mistake, I'm still learning English; feel free to correct me if you wish to.

Don't forget that it went for a long time so this might of been one of few people that where alive without fully knowing what was going on or just them trying to survive and gtfo
Or it might be what's left of the company trying to get as much research as possible but with how meh the actual game is I'm sad they didn't go with the actual atmosphere like poppy playtime and this trailer did

*So, I have a small theory:* As far as we’re aware. You don’t really see the smaller toys actually hurt the player(s). But in the recent footage, you see the small Huggy Wuggy appear (as it seemed to have moved, just like in previous clips). When the Player came close and picked it up, it screamed, and then appears the larger Huggy. So, what if, in the next chapter, the Player(s) will have to be wary of the smaller toys, not because they’ll attack. But because, if they scream, they’ll alert their giant counterparts. Like an alarm system going off, thus pinpointing where you are to the bigger trouble hunting you.

I fucking love that boxy boo starts out slowly moving,like it’s trying to predict any move it’s prey could make while preparing for an attack,and then attacks so suddenly that it gives no time to react before instantly going back into its disguise. while huggy just speeds in at the first sign of prey with no patience,boxy boo seems to bide it’s time for its prey to come to their own grave.

Tbh it's a really smart move to create two different horror experiences simultaneously, so it satisfies more people. Poppy Playtime is for people that like single-player exploring, lore, and story, and Project: Playtime is for people who like multiplayer survival games
But project:playtime also has a Lore and its harder but also like ur still learning about this and even u know the lore already they put even more games eatch time
@@minamanea6137 while both games will have lore, project: playtime is no doubt going to be less dedicated to it. the gameplay will always come first, and you arent going to be like "mm, yes, it appears that playtime co was actually a pizzeria with a bad reputation and the toys have dead kids inside them, quite so indeed" while running for your life from a blue, tall and terrifying childrens toy trying to rip your legs off and kill you

1:01 Like to think this is a reminder to everyone out in the real world who buy Huggy Dolls and think he's the cutest best thing ever without knowing he's antagonist in PPT. I was in a store one day called Showcase and they sell the knock off Huggy Wuggy dolls there labeled Monster Dolls instead. There was a young 6/7 year old boy in the story with his mom presuading the mom to buy the Huggy Doll , telling her , "Huggy hugs you forever." The mom bought him the doll.
This feels like something out of a scary movie.. the movement, the chase, it’s all so intense. Amazing job everyone! 👍🏻

Like I get how you can decide not to support a studio for their flaws, but the game genuinely feels like it effort went into it, to make a GOOD game
Just look at the monsters, the atmosphere, and the animation
Love how the toys are designed, they look like believable toys for children when they hide their scary factors which, when you really think about it, there aren't that many. Huggy has those fangs, mommy long legs with her immense size and her transformation at the end of chapter 2, and now there's boxy boo. If you take out the claws and teeth from him, he's just a jack in the box that have added arms and legs with a boxy face looking like pacman. The designs are simple but really effective in both things, looking like a toy that kids could play with while also having a true form that's not far away from the original look but could still haunt you in your nightmares. Just props to the ones who designed these creative abominations.
That is what's great about the designs. They look like actual toys. Cute, cuddly, etc. It helps with the believability. They didn't go straight for horror designs. They're actually toys you could use and sell. People would love them.

I feel like this trailer was filmed with actual people. I mean, those people look insanely realistic. Crazy. And the way Huggy Wuggy ate the person in the red suit and ate the person in the green suit. And the way Mommy Long Legs grabbed and dragged away the person in the blue suit. And the way that Jack in the Box monster ate the person in the yellow suit. Amazing. Just amazing.
