  • Everything looks so much better in general. The design for mommy long legs is cute but also terrifying given the context. The way that she moves is uncanny. And in puzzle-wise, it seems like there’s going to be more puzzles and they’re going to be more complicated.

  • I love the inspiration this game takes from 90’s-2000’s toys. Like obviously the first chapter had it too but toys like huggy or poppy have more the general vibe of that era of toys. I don’t think I could make a direct comparison to any single toy, but I took one look at that rubbery pink thing and went “oh that’s a Betty spaghetty doll”. Which is a very fun realization to come to

One look at the titles and thumbnails definitely give off the impression of low-effort YTKids garbage, but they're actually well-animated, fully voice-acted, and genuinely funny at times. These people are masters at taking ideas that immediately turn people off and making them genuinely appealing. Major props all around.

    • It goes to show that sometimes the scariest things are ones that don't appear to be so at first glance. Poppy Playtime really seems to have a strong understanding of that with Huggy Wuggy and what we've seen of Mommy Long legs.

Also, it appears to be coming out of the ceiling, so maybe it’s whole mechanic is it’ll surprise attack you from the ceiling. Also, a little pass 0:55 you can see multiple versions of Huggy Wuggy coming out of holes in the wall. Including the original one, which means he’s still alive. Which also suggest that Kissy Missy is somewhere in the game even if she’s not the main enemy.

    • I don’t think your right about Huggy Wuggy. In the part where you saw Huggy Wuggy, there wher 2 blue ones, 2 yellow ones, and 1 pink one. I don’t think this is the Huggy Wuggy that fell. I bealive these are the plushies. Also, when Huggy Wuggy is moving, his mouth is opened. These ones mouths are closed. I know Huggy Wuggy’s mouth was close at the start, but that was when he was “in active” I also don’t think Kissy Missy will do much. I think fans just made her popular even though she is from a picture.

  • I'm so glad they gave her a new design. I wasn't expecting her to be so human. But I'm glad she's not a reskinned huggy wuggy.   • The new mommy character at first I thought wasn’t going to scare me but after taking a few extra looks… yeah she’s gonna be real creepy I can already tell. And something tells me Huggy Wuggy isn’t out for the count just yet which I can’t wait for! As the name of the chapter implies, I’m willing to bet there will be sections of this chapter where we will have to evade her, not exactly run but avoid otherwise instant death.   • Nobody is talking about just how huge this enemy has the capability to be. If that IS the same Huggy that fell off the bridge and not a small figure, then take into consideration that the Huggy that chased you is about 2 times taller than you. The new enemy's hand grabs it like a small doll. She could easily crush your bones to powder with a single hand. This is far more dangerous than Huggy, with her stretchy arms and legs.   • It's incredible how the monsters look so incredibly organic, how their animatnions don't even really look like animations, because of how seamlessly they move. I agree about chapter 1, Huggy Wuggy's attack through the vents has to have been one of the most terrifying chase scenes I've ever seen! I'm interested in facing down "Mommy", my personal guess is that she'll be an entirely new threat, probably relying more on traps, snares and cunning to corner us, rather than large size and brute strength like Huggy. Based on the imagery of her dragging Huggy around, I think it's heavily implied she's in a whole other league of dangerous compared to our previous opponent, and a box to the face won't be quite enough to get the best of her. As a final thought, it's interesting how Poppy seems to be wary of "Mommy" as well; makes me question who's the worst threat. The fact that "mommy" wants to play also seems to imply she's not just a warden like Huggy, but something just as dangerous as Poppy, waiting to lure unsuspecting prey. Maybe we'll even have to cooperate with Poppy, in a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" type scenario, since neither of us will alone have what it takes to survive "Mommy" for long.

    • i dont think they balanced it out as well as they could have, like they did with huggy. it kind of reminds me of fnaf, and how the animatronics struck a perfect balance. then the toy animatronics came and leaned too much on the cute side. that's the same with this, it just doesn't look scary unless they change it up later to make it more horrifying.

  • I love the slight vagueness of this trailer. The ending recall of mommy is so creepy and unsettling even though she’s literally just a lanky simple looking toy. The voice acting is stellar as well very perfect for the rolls that we’re given I mean chills went down my spine as poppy warns you about mommy and then mommy being creepily excited about seeing you leaves you terrified.

  • The interesting thing about this chapter is the new amount of enemies we could possibly face. The flower is hanging above the player in that puzzle room (Indicating that if we fail the puzzle we get jump scared), the mini Wuggy Huggys that the player must fight off, the oddly shaped blue beast thing 0.52 seconds into the video, poppy playtime herself (though I don't know her role in this chapter yet) and that big long arm pink thingy. Who is called Mommy Long Legs. My only question about her is her role as a toy for young audiences. She is clearly invested with toys. My proposal is that she is responsible for the destroyed toys we see in the first chapter. She is rough with them and accidently destroys them. Mommy Long Legs is essentially the pre school kids in Toy Story 3.
