Jimmy Carr: In Concert (2008) - FULL LIVE SHOW
Britain’s foremost multi-award-winning joke technician Jimmy Carr returns with his fourth live stand-up special, Jimmy Carr In Concert.
No one writes sharper jokes and no one delivers them better than Jimmy. He commands his audience with twisted little aphorisms, “the sort of thing that you might find in a fortune cookie baked by Satan” with no one escaping his biting wit and take-no-prisoners approach to subject matter.
Recorded at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre, Jimmy walks a fine line with truly outrageous gags that would be thoroughly offensive if not so expertly delivered with an ironic glint in his eye.
Welcome to Jimmy Carr's official KZhead channel, where you can find all the best bits from his stand-up comedy shows, TV appearances, podcasts, and more!

    @kakae4439@kakae44394 жыл бұрын
    • Jimmy is excellent at improv comedy, more than most comedians.But other comedians dont like heckling cause their comedy style is talking about topics and stories, that need the absolute focus of the audience so they can follow along the joke and way of thinking. In one liner comedy is important to play with your audiance cause it breaks the monotony of continous setup and punchlines. When jimmy asks people questions its used as a break for the audiaunce.

  • Try doing a single one-liner joke in the mirror and see if it was as funny as you thought it would be (in your head). Now Imagine being able to do that continuously for 1 hour and 25 minutes, where you made all of the jokes, kept a critical audience happy, didn't get wrecked by nerves, cameras, online comments, the need to improvise/handle hecklers, or survive an Sjw PC shite storm. If you at the same time can survive this tremor for years on end, AND look good in a suit, you might approach the level of Jimmy Carr. Good luck guys/girls, we need more of you

    • @@DerEchteBold Yes, I'm not suggesting that the Brits are a model society, they have the usual short comings of society that have developed along the lines of christianity. I am beginning to think that humanity needs to ditch all religious belief and become secular and science/knowledge based. It would not be perfect as science only has some of the answers (as it always will) but if humanity lets go of religion and it's illogical requirements humanity will be better of overall. Try saying that to a random gathering of people anywhere and watch the aggro start. The first question will be "But how will we know right from wrong? We need scriptures." If you then point out the contradictions in those scriptures their eyes glaze over, the thinking is all too hard for them and they cannot let go of their habituated bias. Good luck with that.

    • @@mayflowerlash11 As long as capitalism greed will be allowed we won't have any improvement to human society, no matter if religion goes extinct or not. And even without that, it won't work with a solely materialist approach, that can go sinister rather quickly. As I see it modern science and atheism have become religions themselves, often with all the shortcomings of being closed-minded and arrogant towards new ideas, not a good thing of course. Science and spirituality have to re-unite to find reason! Btw, there are actually scientists around who are Christians, Muslims, Jews or whatever themselves and seem to believe in this silly god idea, if they can't see the nonsense in it...
