Good grief...hands behind his back, yet Jones comes up with a quick counter knockout shot. If Roy was more text book he would have been a worse fighter in his prime, why throw a jab or a jab cross or a series of jabs when you can quite easily land a KO lead left hook? People like you are dumb parrots. Sure he may have lasted a bit longer with a more orthodox skill set but boxing is more about what you can do while at your best vs the best of your generation at their best He not only is a very skillful fighter, but he had to create his own "textbook" on how to fight optimally when you are obserdly fast He is the GOAT and it doesn't matter who he loses to now, because we all saw what he could do in his prime. Have to give credit to the opponent though. He kept on fighting even though Jones was dominating the fight
Roy Jones Jnr - great footwork, spend and strength combined with intelligence and creativity that surpasses the rigid form of boxing.
Yeah, he swings and dance all over the place, just incredible, also that left hook's speed is something else
Kelly is a boxer not a fighter. You can't be scared to fight if you are a fighter. No killer instinct.
That makes a ton of sense. Rjj is just a faster boxer. He was totally out of his comfort zone. You can see it in his body language and presentation
Roy Jones Jr. is handsome... and the best, for all time...
Magnifique 😁👍
To be honest that last shot was just a glance shot. Kelly was looking for a reason to go down and end this fight and that was his chance. He already realized he had no answer for Roy and was over it. If you don't believe me go watch it again and again. That last punch by Roy wouldn't knock my sister out and I love Roy and feel in his prime he's the best ever. The GOAT you hear me
Watched it again. No, I do not think it was a glancing shot.
Massive win
🐐
thumbnail funny asf
hard for anybody to beat Jones because of the caliber fighter he was
This commentators do not know how to give a Boxers there Flowers 🌸
glen looked like he mayve been a little more confident for a portion of the second round and seemed to adapt a little better in the fifth after he got rocked... until jones rocked him again in the sixth round that is. glenn looked like he came out in round 4 trying to be more of an aggressor, but became more weary somewhat soo after. he looked like more of an aggressor in round seven too at times, but roy seemed to consistently have something in store for him.
Why does my guy have the Spider Man movie font on his jacket? When was this fight?
28:23 You're welcome
"We've got somewhere else to go" I'm pretty sure he meant hit him somewhere else other than the body because Kelly was expecting more body shots. Not literally, but I don't know, that,s just what I got from it
No one like Roy in his prime.
What year was this fight
I want to know aswell
amariah parker (2002)
2002
Roy has ended many boxing careers. This guy was just one of them...
How did Kelly get into the ring with Jones is beyond me.
07:01... What was the guy like with an "old mobile" doing in the background? hahahahha
How could he fall for that? 😅
The commentators are very disrespectful to Kelly. I know he is not in Roy's league, but come on...
Anyone else noticed the guy in the background? :p
There are many examples.. But this one was one I really liked; what a counter! 11:02
roy literally threw a knockout punch from behind his back. I don't know why roy isn't seen on the same level as tyson honestly. The stuff he did we will probably never see again.
A rare Al Haymon sighting.
Roid Jones Jr. is amazing
D DIESEL never
Travonte Gooden you sound dumb asf
Jones should have been fighting the Brits, the German, Hopkins and Jirov during this period. These fights were a waste of everyone's time.
he fought and beat Hopkins
Glenn Kelly looks paid af. From his face to his performance.
Roy aint even lookin at him.he lookin at his feet. Dats how GREAT dat nigga is
The only time I ever really saw Jones jr work hard to knock out anyone quickly was in the 2nd Montel Griffin fight. Jones jr was so good that he didn't need to go at these guys hard.
I never noticed until Joe Rogan said it....Roy has all biceps lol no triceps
Lol
Coach in Roy Jones Jr corner sounds like Mike Epps .
Roy dont play
Emmanuel Lewis is brutal he said he is not used to thinking fast or fighting fast
Roy in his prime.Wasa "Bad mutha."
Glen Kelly's Professional Record: 31 - 3, 17 by Knockout! Roy treated him like he was an amateur...
Hey McGregor that's how u put your hands behind your back lol
please dont defile this blessed man vid with the mention of that little irish turd on same page. lol
Manny Stweard, 9:18: Breaking down boxing science.
Can you break down what he was saying, I'm a new boxer??
Glenn Kelly NEVER saw Roy Jones JR's KO Punch coming
Do you even want to hit him? Lmao
He should have been rough as hell with him he clearly had no chance
10oz gloves?? Those look big
9:42 Somebody help me!!
RJJ FASTEST HANDS OF ALL TIME
Only a quarter million views in six years people need to respect boxing more
Roy Jones JR or Tyson ?
This is sick sick sick. Behind his back?? And then k.o?
28:20 From another world 🌍... WTF!!
Roy jones! fUCKING legend!
The Aussie is a Jeff Fenech fighter they through the fight
Sit in front of Jones he will pick you apart, pressure him and keep him moving back and you take away almost everything he has, allowing his the distance he wants just shows the ability of the guys he fought and looked good against.
Why didn't you get in the ring with him
Y'all see the difference in his eyes? Compared to when he was about to face Tyson. Little to no fear...
27:19 RJJ'S Milestone fight on HBO
If George Foreman was commentating you’d hear, “Oooo! The Body! The BODY!” Lol! “We got somewhere else to go!” Means he’s looking for that same punch, don’t throw it. Hit him at another angle!” I don’t think it was literally somewhere else to go.
Check the crowd.... Dude in the white shirt loses his shit EVERYTIME he sees the camera
David Sees looks like he was talking to his buddy on the phone probably watching this on tv live XD
