  • Good grief...hands behind his back, yet Jones comes up with a quick counter knockout shot. I'll bet that every trainer watching the fight either cringed or threw up a little in their mouths when they saw that. Jones Jr broke every rule in boxing, and he broke them successfully. He is truly an anomaly.

    • it's talent you just can't teach, everybody else would get knocked out trying to imitate his style. Keeping your hands up, your body upright and and your balance in your centre? That's just annoying limitations for Roy Jones. Your any other boxer it is their bread and butter.

    • Roys a idiot right now. Hes embarrassing his HOF name. Exposed as a fighter with speed and nothing more. His skill level was never truly there

      @10dev785@10dev7857 жыл бұрын
    • rshadio wrong, his skill was speed dependent, but it followed rules of its own, the optimal way to fight when you are super fast IS NOT THE OPTIMAL WAY TO FIGHT FOR EVERYONE! MORONS LIKE YOU DONT GET THIS! If Roy was more text book he would have been a worse fighter in his prime, why throw a jab or a jab cross or a series of jabs when you can quite easily land a KO lead left hook? People like you are dumb parrots. Sure he may have lasted a bit longer with a more orthodox skill set but boxing is more about what you can do while at your best vs the best of your generation at their best He not only is a very skillful fighter, but he had to create his own "textbook" on how to fight optimally when you are obserdly fast He is the GOAT and it doesn't matter who he loses to now, because we all saw what he could do in his prime. Hes just enjoying himself now so what if he loses doesn't change the footage of him in his prime.
