  • LMAO!!! I just told my wife, I’m surprised he hasn’t got hung up yet with those treble hooks. And right then you did and we both said “there it is” at the same time… Classic!!! 🤣🤣🤣

  • How do you find creeks like these? I can only find the ones that are surrounded by trees that are waist deep at the edges, so I can't ever go down there.

  • I can't even cast 4lb line let alone catch fish on it, never use it again breaks to easy for me

    @huckfin1100@huckfin1100Ай бұрын
    • Try a triple surgeons knot it's insanely strong on 8lb I've saved a lot of jigheads bending the hook out of a snag with that pound tests, you get a Hybrid on 4lb next to heavy structure you can kiss that fish goodbye. They are a surprisingly smart fish once you hook em they're gonna run to the nearest snag.

      @KidKrappie@KidKrappieАй бұрын
    • @@KidKrappie I've never had luck with the big boys doing that tho I can't count on two hands how many Hybrids have broken me off on 6lb but it was when 2 fish were on the line which highly compromises your top knot when using a Sabiki/Double Jig Rig.

    • @@Gstar5150 I use mr crappie high vis line and its strong for 4 lb

      @KidKrappie@KidKrappieАй бұрын
    • @@KidKrappie I've tried that line it's good, hard to beat some XL Smoothcast that Trilene line is pretty strong and thin, the 8lb is surprisingly thin it's like hair compared to the Zebco Omniflex I've been using which is kinda crap, lot of memory.

  • Personally I hate rooster tails too much line twist after a while, I prefer 1/8oz jig heads and a good tiny fluke or curly tail minnow lure

    • Last year... I haven't caught a single crappie in the whole creek this year

      @KidKrappie@KidKrappieАй бұрын
    • @@KidKrappie yeah, that what we discussed a few days ago. I have yet to find one this year either. But I haven’t found a single one in that hole over the past few years. You’d think they’d stack up in there under that brush and just off the current.

      @RandallW20@RandallW20Ай бұрын
    • @@RandallW20 I caught a few there in that hole last year but they just aren’t really there this year in general. It’s deep enough and there is brush there so I’m not sure why they aren’t there this year. Maybe too much rain?

      @KidKrappie@KidKrappieАй бұрын
    • @@KidKrappie yeah, beats me too. The wife and I got a pretty good stringer of crappie about this time last year while everyone was chasing the sandies. Odd year for sure…

    • @@RandallW20 i may take the boat out there later this week and really look the creek over. I’m thinking they just aren’t in their normal places this year. They have to be there somewhere
