Does look fun, wish I was driving Dude missed so many opportunities to advance, like the straight away shifting too early and dogging the engine sluggish not gaining any top end speed and other guys going wide in the corners and him rolling off of the gas waiting for them to straighten up and get back in line, should have been on the gas first when they went wide & Ducked right underneath of them, ok here's my tip for your next race: Going into the corner, let off the gas early & brake late into the corner & then back on the gas early leaving the corner in 2nd or 3rd gear, and on the straight build up your RPMs don't shift so fast into high gear, those guys were walking away from you

Used to race these in the 90s, as a kid in Canterbury. Great way to learn about controlling a vehicle before getting a license, heaps of fun, but pretty hard on the body. though.

We run a range of different classes - from bone stock Lifan's like this (XR200 replica) all the way through to 450cc 4 strokes and 500cc 2 strokes. Nice one, no suspension, yes they are racing karts but we put motorbike engines on them and make metal back bumpers and remove the nose and brace those bars that hold it on and some of us make metal side pods and yes knobby tires with 6inch rims, I hope that helps

This kart is a second hand kart from the track that has been modified for grass and this class is the 200 4 stroke standard lifan
It looks like a lot of fun!! Now, how come a Tony Kart can take that much beating (bumpy surface). I mean, Tony Karts tubes (and most of other factories as well) break after the second run on asphalt hehe :) Nice vid tho!!
It's great fun mate, I've only seen a couple of karts bend frames in accidents and might find the odd cracked weld but besides that they pretty tuff and thanks 😊

I've done both and i think this is way more fun
Lawn mowers are cheap way to go to find an old mower it is a decks burn up and have a lot of fun have a great day

I want to build a backyard track in the US, do these karts have any suspension? They look just like racing karts with knobby tires …
Nice one, no suspension, yes they are racing karts but we put motorbike engines on them and make metal back bumpers and remove the nose and brace those bars that hold it on and some of us make metal side pods and yes knobby tires with 6inch rims, I hope that helps
I want to buy a racing go kart and put all-terrain tires I need to go run around in the grass I think it will be fun instead of a traditional go cart
