They already are a company called crosscart usa bought the Spanish Xtream carts and made them bigger ther far more attractive looking than these ugly things . They call themselves Sierra carts now .
@@PaceWorks yeah and the sierracars cost minimun 60K ., in spain you have brands like, Yacar, speedcar, demoncar,labase, etc,, with 600cc or 750cc engines for 20k.
You can make one cheaper than sierra and others brands. Way cheaper. Jk Raycing sells plans for it.

Plans for them all over. Getting the spec correct for a specific series is the key though. For fun you can build them all kinds of ways.

There has been DIY kits for buggies for decades, even just sets of plans. The question must be asked though, how are your fabrication skills? If they were worth a pinch of shit I would suggest you wouldn’t be asking such a question in the first instance.

generally speaking when it comes to racing the smaller the vehicle the more insane you have to be to get into it, the crazier the other people in the race are going to be, and the less budget is going to be a barrier to entry to keep things all within a closed profession. sidecar motorcycle racing is absolutely _insane_ doubly so since driving one of those is a two man effort. about the only other thing that hits that level of...how to say it..."immediacy of risk" is luge racing and that actually _was_ made by a bunch of young teens.

Rallycross looks so much fun, especially in one of these little pocket rockets! 🔥 Hayden Paddon introduced Crosscars to New Zealand and it's really starting to grow as a rally class - hopefully, it takes off around the globe. I'm sure I can't be the only one that thinks the body shape looks a little underwhelming (like the Tamiya buggy's we had as kids), given how impressive they perform against World Class rally cars.
I wish we had actual rallycross tracks in the US. So jealous of the UK where they have lots of tracks of all kinds!

These cars all (except one) have suzuki 750 gxr motors. All in they are around 30-40k. They are kit cars and modular
It depends on the class and they are tube frame with fiberglass or carbon bodies. Plans can be purchased for them or can be purchased in kit form.

@@sugarnads seeing a few crosskart rally videos really made me consider building one since there's a local organization that sanctions similar type of rally/hillclimb events, and they're not too expensive to build from scratch if you know how to source quality materials for a good deal and have the tooling necessary naturally.

Enjoyed the racing, but I had to mute it due to the bothersome commentary. Wish I could hear the engines, but the guy was talking so fast, I started getting a migraine.
These things are amazing why don’t they bring them to America?
All racing is expensive, but these things are very very expensive relative to whats involved in building one. That has alot to do with it. You could run a Pro Lite truck, which has far-more horsepower for pretty much what it costs to run one of these.
Can’t imagine it’s so expensive. One eighties 4 cyl motorcycle motor, Atv front and rear end with disc brakes , 6 meters of 25 mm pipe, mig welder and some imagination. Result is definitely not as good as these here but it would be s blast to drive.
