Making of futuristic Three-Wheeler Vehicle - I Modified Scooter to the three wheeled vehicle
Making of futuristic Three-Wheeler Vehicle - I Modified Scooter to the three wheeled vehicle.
Friends,
Many of you have already seen my past video in which I converted a kymco scooter into an enclosed motorcycle,
I have read many comments in which you shared your opinion, thanks a lot for that friends!
Many subscribers asked to add another wheel for greater stability when driving, and there were also many suggestions to do something with ventilation, of course, they did not forget the wipers.
So in this video I will share with you how I continued to modify a conventional scooter into a three-wheeled vehicle.
If you haven't seen my first video in which I converted a scooter into an enclosed motorcycle, then I advise you to watch it too: • Making of futuristic m...
Now I am really sure that I have become one step closer to realizing my old dream, to make a motorcycle in which it will be comfortable to ride in any weather.
I used an quad bike as a donor, many thanks to my subscriber who made a big discount when I bought it.
By the way, I'll tell you right away, Yes! I myself was very sorry to disassemble such a cool quad bike for parts, but I assure you, in the near future you will see that I will use the remaining parts of this quad bike in one of the following projects.
I had to slightly alter the suspension to make the wheels a little wider and more stable, and I removed the retractable wheels for stabilization altogether.
I will not go into the whole process, I think the video will tell a lot more than I can write here.
When I parked this threewheled vehicle right in the city center,
many had no idea that this futuristic motorcycle was made in a garage, and not a factory one,
Taking this opportunity, I want to thank everyone who supports me and motivates me to do new things !!
Until next time friends!
Sincerely
Meanwhile in the garage

THIS DESIGN NEEDS TO BE MASS PRODUCED. I would definitely buy one
Given that this all adds alot of weight the MPG is going to go down quite a bit so he would need to add a bigger fuel tank as the tank on the kymco agility city 125 that he built this around only has something like a 4.5 liter tank.

a lot of dead space. Imagine a moment that all cars became this kind of vehicle. this means 1 car for ONE person ONLY. The width is almost the same as a car with dead space
My favorite part of this is how you show that when one thing doesn’t work, you try something different to make it work. Most build channels I’ve seen most likely edit this parts out but the way you kept those clips of you changing out or redesigning a certain component shows the true nature of engineering and experiments, trial and error

Making 2 fenders out of a bucket was pure genius. What a beautiful creation! Love it.
Besides all other effort that I also appriciated most: Design according to occasion
Wish vehicles like this was as common as a scooter. The city I live in has A LOT of raindays per year so anything without a roof seem like a horrible experience, but for commuting to work etc this would be perfect!

На азиатском рынке полно такого. Всё производят. У нас не продают потому-что спроса нет.
it's great that you also show when it goes wrong..finally somebody who is not a "perfect"builder...respect for that..
I could see this kind of thing being really successful as a kit.
You have a prototype, now you need to refine the design to make it manufacturing friendly. Then go into production. Great commuter vehicle.
yeah unlike that one company who scammed people by taking their pre-orders and never delivering, elio motors, scammers
Prototype? It is just a scooter with a front mod that are made from a ATV? The cabin is really nice craftsmanship. But really there is no economy in making this since buying just the scooter is cheaper. And if you want a roof on your head then why not a SUV or a normal car? Electric if you want social cred. Really there is no space for this since SUV's are a thing. Phone and drive are a thing.. If there was any government that cared, THIS is what should roam around on the roads. Together with electric bikes and walking on foot people. But for that to happen so much of society have to change. And the ones in power do not want to in convince themselves by having there bents or BMW's or whatever go away. Imagen big cities going from cars to electric driven non safe to crash vehicles. And then have people learn to drive or get thrown in jail if not driving safely. But so much need to change for that to work. And war, war never changes.
@@TheDiner50 Most inventors do use preexisting machines and off the shelf items to build their prototypes. They only need to confirm proof of concept. Then they can begin the process of refinement. Reducing part counts, determining sourceable parts from suppliers, establish jigs and fixtures needed for manufacturing the parts they produce themselves. Yes, it's nice to commute to work in a dry environment, i.e. a roof over one's head. That's why this is preferable to a scooter. Buying a SUV negates the potential cost savings of electric, plus the space required to park larger vehicles in space hostile urban environments. Electric is not just about going green for the reduction of fossil fuels and carbon footprints, etc. Again, in urban environments it is the potential to reduce the ever present noise of hundreds of thousands petroleum-based vehicles in constant motion. His vehicle is one of many that are on engineering "drawing boards" around the world. He built something with potential. Wouldn't you like to see him succeed if he desires to do so? The big auto makers of the world have sat on their status quo's for way too long. As much as I love my noisy, smelly gas guzzler...change is coming.
@@TheDiner50 I believe the only thing they need to do is make an extra road and divide the lanes into weight classes, that way if you crash you won't die as easily, or something like this

Your freestyle, eyeball to measure, chop-n-weld on the fly style of fabrication is flat out astounding. You must have a professional grade CAD program running in your head. Most of us would just end up butchering two vehicles and be left with a bunch of burned out scrap. You made a functioning hybrid that rivals or beats anything in its class that cost millions to design and bring to market. Shade tree mechanical engineering at it’s best!
I have Dyslexia and am just finishing up a motorbike which is modified myself. All be it a conventional 2 wheels bike. I don't know if he does have Dyslexia, however being able to design in your head is so much fun and a trait that is definitely part of Dyslexia. Everything I modified on my bike was done eyeballed although I did use a lot of BOM style (look up Binky the amazing Mini) CAD design.. that is Cardboard aided design.

y'know, the problem with this thing is that no-one is going to guess that it's home made. people will just assume you bought it because it's too damn nice! It's absolute perfection and frankly looks like it rolled straight off an assembly line (and cost an absolute fortune to buy)
Problem? It's a testament to his skills! I think it's where any serious DIY should aim for. Nothing wrong with putting aesthetics aside in a prototype, but who doesn't enjoy building something that's equal or better than "factory made"? It's like having your own limited edition product! 😁
Not going to argue, this is an excellent build. My only gripe is that I WISH the rear wheel matched the front two wheels... then I would be ready to place my production order :)
Mutch more safer looking than the previous build. Also, I swear this is better than the A-Team after they get captured then locked in a fully tooled garage with a broken down vehicle and everything to turn it into a tank. I swear all this needed was the A-Team 'building' music in the background to raise this from a 10/10 to a 12/10. I love it when a build comes together.
Super upgrade to the original project! One suggestion I have is to add lock washers and thread-locker to all of your fasteners to prevent them from loosening from vibration. What a super trike!
OMG that bender made out of a flywheel --- total genius

Me too!
Needs a bigger motor. Seems like it struggles
Me too, love the fender part..😁🤭
43 euro is nog that expensive tho
Was really cool. Personally, I dont consider the cost for the fenders on the shelf outrageous, mainly because of the cost of doing business today. Think of all of the steps that take place before something is setting on the shelf available for us to simply walk in and purchase. Design, product sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, receiving, stocking at warehouse, shelving at store, general overhead for a retail space, insurance, staffing, and finally profit. This is a generalized quick rundown, but its just a reminder of how many things must take place, and how many people earn a living for each of those steps. Im amazed sometimes how much stuff we all have readily accessible to us. 😀
Amazing build! I preferred the two wheel version since then you can tilt around curves like a safer motorcycle. I would love to see a yoke steering wheel! Keep up the great work man! Hello from America. 👋

Honestly, with some airbags a design like this would make a lot of sense for modern locomotion. It takes a lot less space than regular cars making ideal for big metropolis with parking and traffic problems, plus it probably runs much cheaper both to purchase and maintain and I'm also sure it has a good km/L performance. Overall, pretty neat, I much prefer this design over the initial one, although I would still add a bit on an angle on those handles for better ergonomics.
No angle needed, it steers like a Tesla/K.I.T.T. steering wheel.
Also needs a reverse and maybe a wider body for better comfort, also the gas tank could have a cover, its too exposed

ELIO Motors was my first thought. Sadly they never gained traction. An idea a little to early, suppose so. As times change and the real economy is tanking, may be the concept of lighter, incredible gas mileage, back to basics, do-it-yourself repairs and maintenance and a low sticker and made in the good ole US of A has another chance. Anyway, do have some memories of ELIO Motors, someone I knew did their marketing. Jobs in Louisiana and American parts from other car makers bins, there was something about it.
