Dear Friends,
I've always been fascinated by motorcycles for a long time. However, due to the eternal routine of work, home, and family, I never had enough time for this hobby. Motorcycles have always been on my mind, just like airplanes. I had my own concept of what a motorcycle should be like and how it should look.
Finally, I got the chance to pursue my passion. I got my motorcycle license so that I could enjoy riding. As soon as I started riding, my long-held thoughts and ideas began to surface. I couldn't shake off these persistent thoughts. Images of my future motorcycle kept flashing before my eyes. It was meant to be. I had to create my own motorcycle. In the end, I decided to turn my idea into reality.
In this video, I will share with you the process of materializing my long-held dream into reality, creating of futuristic motorcycle. You can be a part of this journey. I am thrilled that I managed to turn my long-standing dream into a reality. I would be extremely grateful if you could share your opinion. I'm curious to know if our tastes align.
Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of the MotoMinds Kortrijk motorcycle show who gave me the opportunity to showcase my motorcycle to the world.
By the way, stickers were made for me by / stickerfabrik24
Thank you so much, my friends.
Best Regards,
Meanwhile in the Garage

    • It is absolute genius. WAY better looking than the original ST1100 (Looked too much like a GoldWing, though the original flat-4 goldwings without the fairings were sick), and probably better balanced too. I don't think there is a better looking transverse V4 bike out there.

  • I like the way you find solutions, now put a little more effort into the final finishing touches like the gaps and pop rivets. But one thing I find downright dangerous is the way you welded the front end. You should have used an insert for this and first welded it through a drill hole before mounting the new piece. And use high tension steel for this. Because you moved the front wheel forward, the whole machine is also lowered at the front. That's why the bike now falls over so quickly when you push it. You may have to adjust the jiffy and central position a bit to avoid annoying situations. As a former Pan European rider I'm sure the original bike will ride better, but I did enjoy your build video!

  • I honestly believe that you have a good facility for improvising and looking for solutions, even if they are not perfect, but you do it very well... What I cannot ignore is the deformation to which you have subjected the chassis after forcing it with the hydraulic jack and later those extension tubes with those weak welds, which what it does is dangerously weaken the chassis. Keep in mind that it is a heavy motorcycle that reaches more than 200 km/h. "It is my opinion". For everything else, "good job"

As a hobbyist DIYer who loves working with sheet metal, I am amazed how you can confidently eyeball and manually manipulate the workpiece and get it fit 99% well on first try . • I'm really liking the overall look. Thinking of manufacture and weight, I think you could improve the power to weight ratio with polymer panels, also improve the streamlined look, unless a riveted utilitarian look was your goal. This was very cool to watch.

  • I am truly amazed by your caftsmenship, keep it up. However i cannot get over the method you used to increase the fork angle. Just casually cutting the lower tubes, bending the frame and welding some inserts into the gap, thats crazy man 😂

  • The leather jacket idea, GENIUS PURE GENIUS, if I hadn't watched the video I would've never guessed the leather was from actual leather jackets. 💯

  • You Sir are a genius. That bike turned out amazing. The lines were perfect. I can only imagine the number of people who wanted to know more about it? I expect to see "copycat" builds now. long live MWIG

  • It looks like something the bad guy would be riding in an anime cartoon.......... I approve. :) (Oh, and it wouldn't be a "Meanwhile in the Garage" video if some two wheeled vehicle didn't end up on it's side at least once. :D)
