Love em all! I actually built a trike last year - its slow but it works... these things are great!
Some car have been introduced on KZhead for ten years, but have yet been saw on the road.
It's because of the rip off cost. Or for the big corporations. These vehicles look too less classy to dive in.
And at least one of the companies referenced has actually been bankrupt for years.
Production cost is way too expansive to mass produce

Bookmark. I have a small electric trike with a top cover which I like a lot but it is slow and very limited range, and does not tilt (so a bit unstable). These represent the next generation. Fast evolving market!
the Lit Motors C1,,is an un achievable dream never going to happen I have seen their video presentation in 2012
Yup, balancing itself on 2 wheels provides a cool factor but the counterweights take up space & create lot's of added weight that could be used for an engine or batteries instead.....#1 & #2 seem like more practical designs.
lit have build last 15 year, perfect pike but need good gasoline engine, not newer elektric have good.

We love to see this type of creative machines. They should simply give preference in building these types of Bike cars at an affordable price. It is like a tantalising people., Do it fast. We want this to be introduced in India.....Rather than giving preference for cars these kind of vehicles should be introduced. Now these opportunities look like Mirage....

The thing with these "bikes" and "trikes" is they want to be an alternative to a car while being at least as expensive as a cheap car.....i see a problem here.

So when will the Helix be on the market and will they bring them to the UK? The constant rain puts a dampener on riding bikes so it would be a good vehicle for the UK so long as it has good range and decent specs.

I've been trying to look for any type of updates on this C1 to see if it's still going into production and i haven't found anything new yet if it's going to be made or not , i keep finding old articles about it from 2019 and 2020 smh , i even went to there website and still haven't found no new info about it
I am rather surprised it is still in work. I remember reading about this several years ago but still nothing is in production and most likely won't be affordable for a retiree like myself.
@@mikethompson2650 i was hoping that it'll go into production when i seen the demo vids of it being ridin , then pushed and kicked to test it's auto balancing .......supposedly at first it was going to be affordable somewheres in the $26k something range but then i seen a 2023 price hike up to $32k , if it actually does get made i imagine by that time itll cost somewheres like $40 to $50k or more , by then I'll probably change my mind about getting it because i remember the creators of it at first said (it going to be affordable) 🤔 which i highly doubt it

$20,000 is not affordable for the average person since these tricycles are usually purchased as a second transportation vehicle. The primary vehicle being a car.
A new Honda NC750X motorcycle is around $8,000 with 65 real MPGs and does over 100 MPH if they made an enclosed aerodynamic 3 wheel version similar the vehicles in this video for around $10,000. That seats 2 people with 3 removable storage compartment (saddle bags) It could be used year round, 65-70 mpgs & plenty of power. I don't understand why more vehicles like these aren't on the road.....Instead they make the Polaris Slingshot, Cam Am Spyder & T-rex all without any removable full enclosure. If they had a lightweight removable weather enclosure, it could be used year round. The 3 vehicles seemed to combine all the disadvantages of a car & motorcycle without giving any advantage that a car or motorcycle has to offer. It's like a taking a 2 seated car, removing one wheel & cutting the roof off.

Lit Motors C1 is a very innovative vehicle but is very slow to deliver to the market. An exciting idea.
The sad fact is that Lit Motors went out of business, and the CEO was sued for financial hijinx by his investors.

@@ZadesLegacy The head honcho got in a motorcycle accident, which led to development stalling. Investors got antsy, took him to court; he didn't show up, had a warrant out for dodging the subpoena. Court awarded all the patents to the investors. This is known; public record. It has been rumored that, in the last year or so, he's settled things with his investors and received control of the patents back; whether this leads to resumption of development / production remains to be seen.
@@Walkyrjenny I did see a random article talking about how he "got the patents back", but it didn't explain how he lost them in the first place, and what happened. So I appreciate the information you have provided. That article was dated like 2020 though, has there been nothing recent since? If not, that's really disappointing, in a crowded area like mine, something like this is honestly the most perfect vehicle ever.

OK the helix looks and sounds like something I would without a doubt want to own, but without a doubt it probably won't go on sale in the UK at that price. The carver is way too expensive, but the helix is affordable. I would own one.

In my opinion, these vehicles are great but they need to use a combustion engine first like the ctx did to become main stream. All the tech are all good but the people may not be ready to adapt to this form of transportation yet since infrastructure for electric vehicles are still limited to this day. What use of an electric vehicle if you cannot charge it? It may be fine for 1st world countries but this type of transportation is better suited for developing countries in south east asia. In fact, you can see almost identical form of transportation in Thailand called tuk tuk.
True .... I have traveled in both Asia and Africa....they do have electricity...and they do have electric bikes - with acid batteries because of the extreme heat and humidity (lithium would just blow up). I think manufacturers should make smaller urban vehicles, like the Hover X Pod - with removable batteries and rechargeable at any regular outlet. What do you think?

I have never seen so many people passionate about these projects that never reach the streets. Here is the recipe for these fantastic vehicles to succeed: 1) They have to be made in China, so they have a good price. 2) They have to have a trusted brand. 3) The first models have to have combustion engines. Until the batteries are reasonably priced.
...And no. 4) Required a 90% cash deposit for those who were interested to buy your product.. Such "advance cash deposit" system was being practiced by the prestigious car company of FERRARI.. Imitate the said "cash deposit sys." of Ferrari, and surely, your mass production plan will make a "slowly but surely" START...

In 2011 I advised Mr. Kim and Lit Motors to franchise the C-1 to India or South Korea......Had he done so we could have been driving them for at LEAST ten years by now....WITH in-wheel-motors and 300-mile ranges....But no...He fell for the Detroit Shuffle and started hiring engineers by the hundreds to improve the wheel....

When can I get it in India? What will be the cost of it in India? Make hole on the roof of it for fan facility. When hole's cover is closed, it will refrain from rain. When hole's cover is open then air can easily enter and it will function as fan. Make it solar cum battery cum petrol provision.

very powerful motorcycle is the future. But in 4 wheels for security and parking on motorcycle places... 4x4 because of snow, ice and sand on mountains curves and slopes.
