Pretty ridiculous they don't include an install tray.
Do you really need an install tray? I’ve installed dozens of these for my friends and family when I used to fix phones and I never once used or needed the trays. Never had bubbles or complaints. Usually the opposite! Surprised so many people are bringing it up
@@Daredayo713 When every company makes an install tray standard it's kinda annoying they don't
@@bknapp462and for cheaper
@@Daredayo713 If it's so easy, then why are you doing it for your friends and family? They'd just do it themselves.
@@blamepotato8014 because I did that for the people who’s phones I fixed which included friends and family?
didn't even shill their new ghost cases in this smh
"The most precise fit on earth" yeah kind hard to achieve that manually without an install tray. Rather than spending a bunch of money on a fancy box gives us a 30 cent install tray....
Can you make a matte black tempered glass screen? The clear really fucks with my aesthetic and I want to look cool like Marques
You mean mark ass brown lee?
It’s 2023. Where’s the installation tray?
Love you guys 😆
Get the ESR Armorite. They have install trays and are more durable.
Thanks for this. I wish I would’ve known about this & came across your post earlier before I bought dbrand’s Tempered Glass. Thank goodness that it only happened hours ago & that I managed to get that order cancelled before it was shipped!
all that because of a comment?... wow @@WizardOfWor
@@xellpurI’m just following some good advice.
@@xellpur testimonials and public opinion will outrank any sales/marketing hype for as long as humans are alive. You ever seen a positive review get clicks? Ppl need garbage clickbait opinions b4 they buy = “the iPhone 15 pro max is NOT what I expected” 😂 “problem agitate solve”, and now the more popular “problem solve” formula
Problem: no trays/ possible crooked screen protector, durability issues, and the less relevant issues: price & smooth edges Solution: ESR Armorite They should have better identified the last minute objections in this video, but oh well
Wouldn’t buy again. Should’ve included an install tray, they send two but the first one got messed up. Had hoped to have a back up, nope i just spent $20 for a stupid fancy box and 1 screen protector that’s still slightly off
Will you recommend ESR over Dbrand ? As I have heard ESR screen protector has black edges which covers little bit of screen. Not sure if I install Dbrand one correctly, will i be fine ? Thanks
I 100% agree with you. Messed up twice despite being extra meticulous during installation.
@@BunnyMomJediget good. lol
Top tier marketing, sub par products
No alignment frame?
Just don’t fuck it up and you’ll be fine
tips on not messing up@@bolivianPsyOp
Fucked up both installations First one was a mess and the seconf one has got a few bubbles i hope will disappear over time Fancy box but tossed around squeetchy and no installation frame
Make please Ghost Case for Pixel 6a :D
No oven required?...
So the screen protector for the 15pro only just covers the screen? Won’t that cause a rainbow like look to the edge of the screen where it’s refracting?
Right? I've heard people report that. Also wouldn't it mean this isn't curved in the edges and so you can really feel the cut off between screen and screen protector.
Yes there’s a small rainbow effect on the top edge of mine. Just installed today 😅
A tiny bit... probably wouldn't've noticed if I hadn't seen this comment.
Hi
Sell me a sheet of tempered glass big enough for the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, when that comes out.
ngl, fucked up both screen protectors sticky side with debris... not happy
Apparently apple should have included one for the BACK of the iPhone Pro Max too, allowing for the cameral lenses. Are there plans for brand to do this? There are reports of the phone being extremely fragile compared to previous model.
The front glass is stronger than the back. Idk why they don’t make the back out of the same material
Honestly the tabs you guys put on the screen protector to hold it absolutely SUCK. As I was placing the screen protector down on my phone they kept coming off.
Does it cost so much to have frame? XD
Dbrand :}
I don't even have an iphone 11. I don't know why I'm watching this
So no instal kit of any kind? 🙄
Will not buy again. The first glass had bubbles after installation, but the second one was finally installed successfully.
Pretty disappointing cheaper shit on Amazon comes with install tray/guides.
I bought a iphone 16? are you going to make one for my phone
when
I don't think they ship to other timelines, sadly.
They will make it for sure. Around the end of this year.
Not buying from you again
Why is that ? I am thinking to get screen protector from them as Ive heard ESR ones have small black borders which is taking little bit of display. Not sure should i get ESR or Dbrand screen protector
@@AlexBrar_I’ve always used Dbrand screen protectors because I know they’re good, always crystal clear, and it’s what I’ve used for my 12 pro max for 3 years and I’ve pre ordered for my 15 pro max. Only annoying thing is that this year the display is curved so the screen protector is more noticeable. I fitted a Spigen glass screen protector to my partners 15 pro max and that was also pretty good and comes with an install tray, manual install is good for seeing any dust or fibres that have landed on the display as you fit.
Why?
@@applewizard32 I messed it up 2 tones
@@0SIGMA so hard to put it on
but my notes app is black
Hmmmm... Too easy to fuck this up. Tech Armor includes an alignment tool so you can't fuck it up. I'll never get this aligned manually... Sorry...
What about the back glass? @jerryrigeverything
Can't set auto-lock to "never" anymore, max is 5min. Bought screen protectors from two other brands that did include install trays but didn't account for the screen curve, so they had unsecured edges/corners. I always struggle to apply skins and covers but managed to not screw this one up, looks great and I have a backup. I got a skin as well though, and will probably mess it up.
You can still set it to never I’m on iOS 17.1.1 and can select never
