How remove and reinstall tempered glass film screen protector. iPhone 6 tutorial.
1. Remove the tempered glass screen protector. Start from one corner.
2. Clean the screen protector and phone glass
with the alcohol screen wipes.
3. Remove the dust from the screen protector and phone glass.
4. Carefully place the screen protector by aligning the edges
of the display along the outline.
5. Sweep the screen surface to remove any bubbles
and ensure the perfect install.
I love the final 90seconds of dark introspection he added to this video lmao...Gives you time to ask yourself 'should I even be doing this'
Lmao😂😂😂
Lmaoooo
Lmao
hahaha
Lol
Next time I put on a tempered glass screen protector on my phone I will do it in a NASA level dust free room.
ill come with you
It's kind of like tape, with glue you could never remove it.
But won't it loose the 'stickiness' with the alcohol wipe...?
Prince Xamim i tried it and its ok
I tried it and i fucked up :(
I know your here cause you messed up putting the screen protector
No i am here before putting a screen guard, i don't wanna mess it up
Air pocket took it of and nos iam here
actually no i cracked my phone :) it’s luckily just on the the screen protector tho
i put it over the freaking camera 😔
Nah I just got a halls dusty one
All high end phones should come with a high end screen protector as standard.
so true.
My note 10 did. But my note 20 ultra didn't. Lol
when you remove the cracked screen protecter, but there are still cracks: 💀💀💀
I can feel you
i got mine from the mail, and i immediatly applied it. i did it all right, but i noticed it was a little bit off center. So i removed it, and now the adhesive part is full of dust. i just cant get it off. i fucking hate my life
Lemori I feel u
Lemori lmao
Lemori exact same fml
.......i often hate my life when crap like that happens to me also. Best thing to do is accept Jesus and read the Bible and go to a Bible preaching church and find out just about everyone else has bad things going on also (cancer, divorce etc).
Dude +Lemori I can help you if you still have the tempered glass lying around, Same shit happened to me today with my original Oneplus 3t 3D curved tempered glass! probably the most expensive T glass in the market.... None the less I found dust and removed the glass just to find the adhesive part full with dust!!! I used a Brown Industrial tape which are used for packaging... stuck the adhesive side of the T glass to the adhesive side of the Brown tape... pressed with my thumb to make sure the dusts get stuck to the brown tape and the removed the tape from the T-glass and re-applied on the phone.... its much much better... I found this technique 97% effective with satisfying results!!
Yeah, I tried this, it screwed the screen protector up. It was to the point where I couldn't fix it, so yeah, thanks so much.
Well it helps if you use the right tool to take it off...
+SKULLCRUSHERGAMING there's something called I followed the video so I WOULDN'T screw it up
+ajlikesgames Well, I don't think they're really supposed to be reusable.
+ajlikesgames Haters gonna hate
No, this video is fucking terrible... I mean REALLY bad.
This was helpful! I’m removing the old screen protector and adding a new one. Plus now I’ll have this music in my head for the rest of the day. At least I’ll have something to dance to.
if you will look closely you will see why that he did not show a picture looking down at the phone because the corners have air pockets where they did not stick
Kevin Rivers Yeah also happens with cheap chinese made protectors. My neighbour also once bought a straight protector for a curved phone!LOL
happens to the best, but i found a fix that worked for me with cotton swabs and cooking oil. found in this vid kzhead.info/sun/grZxZ9FpgXWFiok/bejne.html
It is true Kevin
Kevin Rivers It is true
Thank you sooooo much. First time ever, only one dust bubble! Woohoo!
Wouldn't rubbing alcohol destroy all the adhesive on the glass making it no longer stick to the phone ?
i would advise not to use rubbing alcohol as it can remove the adhesive and also smear the glue leaving lint onbthe underside
+Rounak Roy so....what we clean it with now any ideas...
Cat Bug Its isnt advisable to reapply the screenguard as chances of getting it right is 1 in 100 as the moment you pull it off the static generated attracts millions of dust and debris, so get another one and use painters tape to align it correctly and do it in a bathroom with the hot water running so that all dust there settles down.
+Rounak Roy hmm I'm gonna try the hot bath trick...have you done this befor
i have tried the hot bathroom trick with a plastic film SP, but never tried to reapply the glass one
I did not believe it, but I messed up at installation so I had nothing to lose, there is no glue the surface is just sticky, it worked for me, believe it or not this guy saved me money for next protector and I would like to thank him. #Peace.
Thank you so much for this tutorial ! THANK YOU !
Thank you for posting this video. Also, I used magnifying glasses to better align the glass.
Perfect & the Lint remover does wonders
Super easy to scratch the adhesive on the sticky side of the screen protector. And the corner you decide to pry up to take it off will more than likely never stick fully ever again, even pushing down really hard on that spot won’t adhere it fully. The whole point of reapplying the screen protector is to get rid of imperfections, but this process would more than likely add more imperfections than it solves. Just buy a good manufactured screen protector that offers warranty and exchange the one you effd up on for a new one. It just costs shipping for Zagg and Otterbox/Lifeproof.
Just reapplied my Zagg glass on my iPhone XS Max after watching this video, came out just like when I put it on the first time. Great video, I was getting ready to throw the Zagg away and get another screen protector..these things cost too much to replace.
that white roll is the most important thing in the process
The new tempered glass protectors are SOOOO much easier to install and remove than the old plastic film types. It was all but impossible to install the film without bubbles...the glass, EASY!
Thanks for showing me how to remove glass cover! I used a credit card corner.worked a treat! Thank you!
are you gay.?
@@Ratneshverrna what the fook
What Daniel & Jasmin said. What tool do you use in the first place and/or can you use anything similar?? Thx!
I got my first phone for Christmas and I think I have a screen protector on? Because it had that same color you did when you put yours on so I don't know if it's the screen that's cracked or the protected that is but I would like to know, thanks
thank you so much! i used scotch tape on the tempered glass and it worked awesome!
I don't understand how it glues back on. Was that a glue roller that he used? It won't stick and damage the screen?
Omg thank you!!! Input mine on crooked and was so irritated but this helped out so much 😋
Thank you so much it work 100% no air bubbles at all and. The sticky side was clean look brand new.
The comment section is hilarious!
Wow man thanks so much! I thought I wasted 20 euros on that thing. Got it on with no bubbles!
oh, so you just lift from a corner and peel off. thanks for the demo, sir!
this worked for me thanks. just a bit dubious about the cleaning the inside of the screen with the alcohol, so i omitted that part.
Beo thank you so much you are now my favorite youtuber
Thanks!!! I fixed my screen!! I had to fixed 2-3 times ! But it fixed it!
Make it look so easy when it's not
Don't forget to cut your video lol
Joey
Exactly had me thinking it was more after a while I said forget it
It has been extended so it is long enough to qualify for monetize.
lol
wkakakakajaja
awesome move, gr8 thinking thanks 4 the knowledge! Did u clean the adhesive side with the alcohol wipe also, and if i did c that right, it doesnt wipe the adhesive off?
I did it with no problems no bubbles.....but it was not like above. I had a a film on the back of the glass. I just wiped off the original glass on iPhone X ..was not sticky....and placed top on top and peeled it down... perfect!!
i would like to thanks you so much , because it helps me to reinstalling my screen protector and i used my own way to clean my screen just a dry wipe and it will works perfectly
the tape roller is such a good idea 😂
Sheena Q that’s actually a brush for getting cat hair off clothing
A brush? Nah bro it’s a lint roller for getting any hair or dust off of clothing.
The Everything Kid facts
BALENCIAGA CROCS it’s a lint roller
When I buy a new phone, I also buy a tempered glass in one store. I let them to put it in my phone. The man is not do to clean the screen of my phone as he said its just new so he just get out the plastic protector in there then put the tempered glass. Is it fine?
I tried six other videos and this is the only one that worked
I love when u place the glass on and it seems to absorb to your phone
Brilliant tutorial.Many thanks
Thank you! This is just what I needed after my initial crooked installation.
So awesome, Thank you very much, GOD BLESS YOU. 😍😁
Thank you so much, that helped a lot
when it comes to temper glass I'm perfections I can't stand to see a single bubble underneath the glass I probably have changed 20 times already
Thanks for sharing! Finally got around to replacing my cracked up glass screen protector and this was super helpful. :)
PolishAndBeyond to talk to you one day
this worked there was only two small bubbles thanks! i recommend this method the soap and water method doesn’t work
what's the tool you used to remove the tempered glass?
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!! ✊✊✊
Thanks, worked perfectly.
I love you... Since part of my glass screen protector thing was broken, i was worried that i broke my iphone...I L O V E U
Thank you, this video saved my life
Is there any type of solvent or adhesive needed to reinstall the same protective screen?
Thanks man actually works
My phone now looks like it has acne due to so many air bubbles. 😂
Nice work my friend. Thanks!
worked great for me. alcohol did not ruin the adhesive coating.
THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I can't believe how easy it was Tom
Mine only has adhesive around the edges, so cleaning it worked. Too bad it got scratched up to hell and back! I have a spare one, but I guess I'll use this one since it does work after all. Plus the scratches are really thin and only noticable at certain angles, especially with the screen on.
This worked awesomely!
What did you use to get it off?
Excellent video, worked for me!
can liquids seep into the speakers at the top say if you go over it with alcohol or water ?
What is the maximum amount of time the screen protector can be off the phone so it can stick back on the screen?
I am also puzzled. Isn't the alcohol wipe going to remove the adhesive on the underside of the glass protector? And if it does, how is it going to stick to the phone glass again? Please clear it up.
Today i bought a screen guard and when i put it on , i saw a bubble so I watched your video and tried to reinstall and broke the screen guard in the edge , no i might want to get another one , even though i changed the lasted one due to a minor scratch! Damn now broken
What did you use to remove it with? I cracked mine so I want to replace it entirely
Best video ever!!!!!
Done!! thank you so much!!
Hmmm? I'm generally pretty clued up on most things in life, yet I find myself wondering what is actually causing that screen cover to stick once you've wiped away all traces of everything that could make it stick in the first place.
(It is a tempered glass screen protector)On the sticky side of the screen protector I got lint and dirt on it can I use alcohol to remove it or will the take the sticky part off? Please help it costed 40$ and I don't feel like coughing up the money to buy another one.
Trying to use a screen protector on the x is so hard even when I followed the methods it was just difficult to align
Worked for me, thank you!
thank you!!
Thank you so much for showing me how to do this! I’ve been wondering for a while
Hey man! What's the name of that alcohol? Is an specific one or can be used any?
Thanks it helped a lot!
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH
You don't use a alcohol wipe to wipe to adhesive! You use tape!
You're correct! As i experienced my self
andrekalt Yup it works the best🙂👍🏻
***** I use a brand called I-flash. I get 5 for $9.99
THANKS A LOT
Toni G. Thank you😁
took a couple of tries and some cleaning but i did it yay
What did you use to remove the screen protector
what's the background music? nice video tho i tried that to remove my broken tempered glass
What tool did you use to take of the Glass Screen Protector?
Mine turned out aweful x/ which is why I wanted the dude in the store to do it. Next time I'll buy in the store were I know the employees are skilled at putting them on ;) less hassle.
Omg thx i actually applied wrong my glads the first time i tried it and i did this and it actually workedd yes thhaanks again
Somehow I got a spider inside my screen? One of them flat spiders..it was hard to type with him moving around in there.
Thank you this might help me a lot :)
What is the change of screen guard u just buy the new screen guard
That would be nice if it came off that easy. I have a 7+ and have been trying to get a corner up for a half hour. I'm even using a sharp utility knife blade. There's got to be an easier way...
I just assumed I have a screen protecter, this phone was a used gift from my cheap uncle ans now the screen has these sort of bubbly shape on it. But only on the edges. Whenever I press down on them they usally shrink and then expand again which is VERY annoying. So do I have a screen protecter or is something wrong with the actual screen?
Thank you so much
How did you put the film back on if you removed that layer of adhesive from the film with the alcohol?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I applied my own screen protector to my iphone 7 and i think i did fairly good but the around the home button it seems a bit off and at the edges of the display its like rainbow like
I have had mine on my Galaxy Note 3 since getting the phone in July 2014, but I dropped it as I got out the car and now have a crack across the protector. I have bought a replacement but I am concerned that I will damage the main screen removing the protector....advice please
thanks man it really worked :)
You cleaned the sticky part also. Will it stick back again?
wouldnt that remove the adhesives and cause protector to lift off the corners
I thought our screen was cracked but it was only tempered class :D.. highly recommend
What's with the chipmunk remix soundtrack?
