Down to earth, genuine, real, worked for everything in his life, never gave up, good morals, strong father and family man, jokes with his wife and keeps her in check with love, has good sons, looks put together and looks after himself and family, articulate and with a strong vision, and a role model for those looking up to him. • @@eitan007 As much as I love Cro Cop and you can definitely make a case for him, especially when he first came over from Pride FC with a lot of hype behind him - the problem when talking about just purely making MMA popular in Europe, in his first fight in the UFC he got more known by a lot of casuals who were starting to just get into watching the UFC around that 2007/2008 time, as the guy who got brutally headkicked KO'd by Gonzaga, literally the same move he's famous for and in his next fight he lost to Kongo. So looking at it from the position of bringing new fans in etc I'd say Bisping did more. No doubt to old school MMA fans like myself who still consider his HW title fight against Fedor as the best HW title fight ever and the man with probably the best highlight reel of KO's ever, he was a legend before the UFC.
