    • @@iams2109 if you lived any where rural, you would know your statements to be false. Ever had a bobcat kill your daughters dog in the middle of the night only to have her come out to see the mess and her dog still suffering? Ever been bit by a feral dog or coyote? Ever had 11 of your livestock slaughtered in a single season, the kind where they don’t do much but chew on it before you’re out there at 4:00 am, working your hands to the bone in the freezing rain, just so your daughter can have choices in her life? Ever find poisoned coyote corpses in your irrigation channel, cause your idiot neighbors think poison is more humane (its not trust me)? Ever find starving bobcat kittens in your wood pile because their mom was to diseased and tick ridden to take care of them?

  • It was 1978, and we had had about enough of Lubbock, Texas. We took a 2 week vacation through many of the western states, including Wyoming. We were camping out in Yellowstone, and had just gotten up around sunup. I went outside the camper with our youngest daughter, 3yo, and I helped her get on her little three wheeler and I went back into the camper to get something when I heard a low growl outside. I grabbed a baseball bat we kept by the door and came back out to see a coyote sneaking up on our daughter! I had been a police officer in Atlanta, Ga., and had assisted the Georgia SPCA deal with a large number of feral dogs in South Fulton County, so I knew "that look" on a canids' face and stance. I took off after that coyote with that bat in my hand, and he's probably still running from that crazy human with the baseball bat! We finally settled in Wyoming, but I still don't care much for coyotes.

Without sounding too fruity, your voice could coax the pants off a nun. It's softer and better than any sleeping pill, so the coyotes don't have a chance. Once they hear your voice they're doomed. Many thanks for the videos.
