This is a guided mindfulness meditation on depression. It is not meant to fight against depression, or hide from it, but to sit and learn to develop a relationship with these feelings. Overcome anxiety and find the possibility for hope, healing, and light that can be found through the darkness. A deep, blissful peace is waiting for you.
I now have over THREE HOURS of streaming audio meditation sessions available to SoundCloud tier supporters on Patreon. Check out my Patreon page to learn more: / mindfulpeace

  • I've had a deep depression today. Suicidal. I have ibs that keeps going. My granddaughter is here doing her remote school so I have to get up early. My therapist fell and has a concussion. I am scheduled for serious back surgery with no one to help me after ward. I'm trying to reschedule for when I will have help. This is so bad it's funny. This is a really good meditation. It helped.

  • Performing this meditation helped me realize that my depression isn't really depression. Whenever I'm having a bout of depression, it mostly isn't sadness. It's fear and frustration.

    @ginaandrews6516@ginaandrews65163 жыл бұрын
    • I relate to that. It is actually more about fear and frustration as I have spent a very active lifestyle when my life did a 360 and its hard to let go what was and accept what is. Had there been a gradual change it would have been easier.

  • Hello and great day to you. If you are reading this and you suffer from anxiety, doubts, running thoughts, nervousness, depression, depressive tendencies than this is for you. I suffered from some of these and these are some of the things that helped me cope and get over everything. 1. Shrug your shoulders up and sigh while bringing your shoulders down several times. 2. Snap your fingers several times, very strong so you can hear the snap, then clap your hands as if you are applauding a friends birthday party. Make it LOUD. 3. Pull the pinky fingers of your fingers and force a laugh. 4. Go to a private place, close your eyes and spin round twice. Be careful not to fall please. 5. Tell a stranger you love them, in person or online, even if you leave an anonymous comment.

What if you were depressed since you were a child? Can anyone guide me to something that is suited to that? Are there any suggestions on using mindfulness when you have nothing to go back to? Thanks

    • Look into Mooji and Papaji videos on youtube, and be very gentle, kind and compassionate to these painful and depressing feelings, you are experiencing, you didn’t ask for them to be there, and there is a ‘you’ that is experiencing ‘them’ investigate this ‘you’ that is the experiencer and perceiver but not the dark energies, we have no control over, be very gentle and very kind, the real you ‘is’ coming to save you and bathe you in loving warm light

When my depression took me over and so down, idk what to do but I'm glad to found this this help me to calm and to know what to do. And to leave and avoid people from home during meditation whenever I want to and find peaceful place where no one can disturb me. This meditation is all I need.

Michael Sealy, Jason Stephenson, Linda Hall and The Mindful Movement channel. I have a problem with being very distracted by the different tone of voices and each of these people/channels have voices that I am able to actually sleep too. Also if you like breathing work...check out the Breathing Mantra; it's an absolute favorite and something I use daily for relaxing.
