Good safe shape, very light weight, nice flexible cable, low latency ... HyperX have entered the Top Mice list with this latest attempt at a competitive First Person Shooter mouse.
They were making some great progress but really took it to another level with this one, great to see.
Not much to critique, other than the shape is just ... good. It's not bad. It's not amazing. It's just good. That's the thing with "safe shapes", they're great because most people will be able to find a grip on them, but without taking extra risk, I don't think people will max their aim potential with them either.

FYI - the mice are added to the website straight away but the cache takes a while to update. The Haste enters the list at #9. Also I got the stitches out of my finger yesterday, I'm fine, but next video you'll still see the bandage. Thanks for the concern!
Why did you have stiches?
69
Did you ever find a optimal number for the weight ratio, or the lower the better?
Amazing review as always! What the absolute fastest gaming keyboard right now? Don’t care about price.
are you still using the finalmouse ultralight 2? is it any good anymore or what is better
these past 2 years have been so good for mice
I was just watching osu! stop e stalking me
yea fr... hope 2021 good too
will you stop commenting on every video uploaded to youtube. why are you EVERYWHERE
noticeably after model O/finalmouse were introduced to the market, coincidence?
yo its the osu fortnite hololive guy
Thanks for everything you do dude. I love these mouse videos. I bought my new mouse after my model o (first batch) packed in using your guide.
Been waiting for this. Amazing review as always.
One way to stop the dpi changing is choose your dpi sens on the software and bind the dpi button to a random keybind
really good mouse review video man. what you even compared the mouse shape to others which is really helpful for making a decision. i think i know what to buy now
Thank you for the in-depth review. Seems they've addressed the DPI / case issue as I can press the casing without it affecting the DPI switch.
Been waiting for this glad u got to it!
This mouse is definitely solid for medium/bigger hands that like fingertip grip, probably the best option on the market for the price. The viper and Model O try to compete here but curves on teh side of the haste are much flatter and overall it feels like a better product than either of those, again especially when considering price. It's a winner for sure.
I've been waiting for this.
Edit : For anyone who want to fix the dpi, just change all of the dpis to the dip you want so if you even accidentaly done it it still is the amount you desire
I don't understand what you meant by "dip", sadly on 1.1.0.6 even the dpi is about 7.3cm out on sensitivity's and the ngenuity dev team takes forever to roll updates out.
Glad to see this mouse be reviewed... definetely deserved it.
Thanks for the review. Ordered this mouse yesterday after my Corsair M65 decided to stop tracking.
finally, a good mouse review that covers everything i love u man
thanks for including the moba segment
Hey zy the steps of 50 dont actually work on this mouse it only changes dpi when you use steps of 100 with the current firmware. Also pretty important to note is that some copies have massive cpi deviation so its mostly running at 100 cpi higher than the actual setting
Not true? I tested this by actually measuring the DPI and it does change when you save in increments of 50. I tested at 400 and 350 and got very different results. The deviation is a problem but the software does work and by setting it to 350 you can get a DPI of 390 which is very close to what you might normally play with at 400.
It works for me. I usually play with 800 dpi but went down to 700 and now 650 to get the feeling that I want. Yes, I can feel that the mouse is more sensitive at 800 dpi compared to my old one.
@@myshitonyoutube I’m a bit confused. If I usually play on 800, should I go down to 750/700 or up to 900 on this mouse?
@@benwalker5589 You have to go down at 700/750
Can someone explain what CPI is?
Finally some good news out of my day. Thank you.
I love your content and have been subscribed for a long time. You lost me on your review of the CM MM720 though. I was one of the best COD PC players in the world and it's amazing for competitive gaming.
Been waiting for this review...
Damn was waiting for this. Thought you'd like it more, does the rubber side grips help with the grip? As you mentioned the shape is not the best for grip.
I got this mouse off Boardzy and God damn, it is amazing. The textured finish is great, the triggers are great, the switches are great, the mouse wheel is great, the cable is great.. You get where I'm going 😉
What happened to your finger though? Take good care.
Got bit by a mouse.

Been waiting a while for this!
After my first wireless, I pretty much only look for wireless mice. Can you please add an additional Wireless/Not column to your top mice list? It's not too important, but I think it will make the top mice list a little bit more convenient.
I heard there was a DPI issue with this mouse where the DPI would actually be a bit higher than what you set - i.e. 800 would actually be 870. Did you have any similar issues?
OMG did not expect a league gameplay in your video AND it's Riven :D!
zy with the legendary QQQ combo against Ryze Bot, impeccably executed, he never stood a chance
Didn't expect you to mention the clicks for moba players, you realized not only fps players care about mice, feels like you've read some posts. Thanks.
I just got this, and I palm grip. I really like it for that... I don't mind it at all. Was using the G-Wolves Skoll but for some reason I just really missed the ambi shape...
It has a noticable dpi variation of around 50 dpi. Keep that in mind.
This review is so early, this mice isn't even available in my country yet XD
PL?
Btw, you should check one issue with the sensor and that is the DPI. Idk, some other reviews said, that the sensor doesn't actually put the correct DPI. If you have 800, it is actually like higher or lower. Maybe you could look into it?
Bought this yesterday after my corsair sabre finally broke after 4 years of hardcore gaming, schoolwork, and everyday use. Looking forward to going full hyperX peripherals soon!
3:02 Would this happen on your copy?
I have one and this mouse is perfect for palm. The only downside is the right front corner because the way it is hurts the ring finger.
The mouse looks super solid and sturdy compared to glorious.
Looks like a good mouse, might have to check it out.I seem to like big mice for some reason, I don't have big hands but bigger mice just feel better to me?
I feel you have underrated the Pulsefire Haste. After using my this mouse for a while and going back to RVU. RVU feels leagues below. This should easily be top 3 on your mice list. Please re-consider!
Yes indeed. Top 3 indeed. Nothing is bad about this.
Damn, I have the rvu and almost bought this from best buy.
My keyboard and mouse is hyperX and once I have a pc and some more thing I’m gonna try get this mouse and a hyperX headset because there products are amazing for the price
Hey Zy, do you think Razer will be making a wireless version of their razer mini?
I like this mouse. Quality is very good for $50. Good shape too, though I prefer the shape of the model O. This feels great in hand. I have a viper ultimate on the way. I think I will like that shape as well.
What's your hand measurement? I'm looking for mouse for fingertip grip.
great review.. sorry if this was answered already, but what mouse pad is that? it looks awesome
I am used to this stupid g300s. After all those years, tried so many top mice and finally found my new mice. Instantly liked it,didn't expect this from hyperx.
OH NO! his finger got hurt! I hope he's alright now
I had this mouse for 7 months now, and I gotta say, it is indeed an incredible mouse, I raged with it and smashed it several times and never broke, didn't have any problem RJN has mentioned actually, and it is hard to go back to my deathadder and, yeah, I never used the software, and probably I threw away the box when i moved house without taking out the pads... dumb me
No problems after heavy use?
@@yassinebensaid1336 Nope the mouse is surprisingly sturdy only issue was for the cable after a few months of use started to disconnect but that's probably a defect on my copy (ended up just buying a custom cablemod)
Does it fit for large hands?
Just ordered one
Zy, can you reccomend an fps mouse with more buttons than the 6 that come standard on nearly all fps mice? I can't be the only one who wants buttons for reload and other stuff on my mouse.
Can’t wait for the reveal of the New FinalMouse tomorrow
A Viper with mechanical logitech switches like the g403,70 grams,no holes and a soft cable ,Razer sensor seemed best to me and no holes=Best mouse Ever
can you include the "testing footage" again? so people know what your hand is doing during the tilt slam test and the acceleration test
Yoo 20x10cm? That's my exact hand size! I just recently got the Endgame Gear XM1 but I'll definitely peep this mouse.
ur hand is larger than my life....
holy shit finally its here
this mouse is gorgeous
can you save lighting on the mouse itself? afaik you have to get the software through microsoft store (which i really dont like) and ive heard some bad stuff about it.
Best mice review ever
I love this kind of mouse which doesn't flare out at the front. My hand size is 18x9.5 and I am currently using the viper mini with claw grip, but the position of my ring finger feels really weird and I can't aim comfortably. I guess the size is also one of the reasons but there is no issue when I was using the g102 except the weight. I am now considering the aerox 3 and this mouse. In terms of shape and size, I guess I should pick the aerox 3 for claw grip, but the holes in aerox 3 make it feels really fragile and cheap...
Mouse itself is great! However, dont bother with software, it just doesnt recognize at all your mouse so no issues with that (win 10 with latest updates). Mouse comes with default 1000hz polling rate and you may adjust default dpi on button. Also you can bind side buttons in specific game so no problems there as well. Thanks God we dont need software, lol
Don't know much about Golden Micro switches, just Omron and Huano - are they stiffer than both, lighter than both, somewhere in between...?
it's weird, I use mouse search on your website and get this result on top (18cmx9cm, palm), yet this video says it's not good for palm grip, I use viper ultimate and glorious model o right now, but still feel something can be improved, still searching for better mouse, excited to try g pro x wireless superlight but it's quite outside my price range. Oh, and grip-wise, I prefer model o rather than viper, but my viper is newer, and my model o m1 button kinda worn out, gonna find some mouse grip later if I decide not to buy a new mouse, but for now gotta stick for razer viper
Who else wants companies to start making high LOD or allow adjustable lod more than 2 or 3 mm?
I think some mice has it

What do you think about the hk gaming naos m, it’s a better version of the Zowie S2
Oh nice finally
Hope they do a wireless version of this!
They will

Im planning to buy this mouse or xtrfy m42. Which one will be better for me ? Now im using Zowie ec2a
Hey Zy, if you read this great! If not... oh well... anyways the left mouse button on my copy of this mouse feels grainy. Almost scratchy. This happens when pressed off center or when you press and move the button around with your finger a little bit. I also got that problem where the scroll wheel isn’t centered properly and it appears to get bigger/smaller. Hopefully my RMA is accepted, was just wondering if the button thing was normal. Cheers!
Whats that mousepad it looks good
Looks like ROG Scabbard v2
Is this gaming mouse so good better and more accurate than other lower class gaming mice, say up to 3200 DPI maximum?
Would you reccomend this for claw grip?
How are the buttons on this mouse? Are they super easy to click? Because I just bought Logitech G102 and I get crazy amounts of accidental clicks on PPM - currently looking for an alternative with less delicate buttons.
Shoutout to the Caitlyn for not stealing your kill
Have you received the finalmouse for review before the release?
Alright, Mr. RJ Ninja. Why does left and right click ALWAYS sound different on every mouse? It is something that I have always wondered. If you read this, I love to know.

Wireless version is out, would love to see your opinions on it, as well as a more in depth talk about the scroll wheel. Also this is really close even in measurement to the GPX superlight, so how does it stack up? What does it have that the GPX doesn't and vice versa? Love your work.
i buy the pulsfire core and i like the shape, but i think is too heavy.. i have 17x9.5 cm hand what do you think about returned him back for take pulsfire haste, i know the sensor and everything is better but the most important thing is the shape... thanks if u can help me
what is the heaviest mouse you have reviewed?
Ur the best
0:44- "In a way, this is good for stability, in another way, it doesn't actually give us much grip." 1:06- "Speaking of feet, they include some extras, and some grip tape if you're into that." B r u h
I probably could've explained that better ... a mouse with sides that curve outward toward the top will be easier to grip, but lose stability. A mouse that flares out a bit at the base will lose some grip, but will have better stability. If you put grip tape on those sides, sure there's technically more grip, but it still won't have that extra comfortable, solid grip feel that the outward curve will give you.
@@RocketJumpNinja While you're here, what are your thoughts on the cable, and is it in the same league of flexibility of the XM1?
My hand size is 19.5x 10.5cm but I have never done claw grip with a mouse before and according to the sheet my hand size is for claw grip.
for this mice yes for others maybe not
My hands are 6 inches length, and 4 inches width. Do u think this mouse would be good for me?? The length seems like i could palm it, but my width looks way off for palm
Nice share 👍
Love the shape of the G305/GProHero, does this shape resemble them? Hoping for an updated ultralight G305ish mouse!

Yo! Could you maybe make a review of this but wireless?
What is the shape like? You could say which mouse this shape resembles?
Any difference between the 3335 and 3389 sensor?

I read in one of the reviews that the wireless version has high click latency (around 10ms) and this one probably has the same amount. Did you ever feel it was lacking in that area? I need a mouse that has a very low latency, currently using Viper Ultimate and it has no problems, how does that compare to it?
What did I say in the review? It's probably high by today's standards, this is pretty old now. And I don't recommend their latest because of some wireless issues. Wired seems pretty good though.
I managed to get this one for 30 bucks on a Black Friday deal. Wanted to go for the Logitech Ultralight, but 30€ for this mouse is just too good to pass. Ultralight costs 90 even on sale -_-
