Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!
That's a real jet ski!
I have always wanted to try the stand up jet ski. They look fun
They're fun, but can be a fair bit of work. If you're in decent shape you could have fun. Alternatively, if you're out of shape and commit to riding one it could help you get into shape. It's bit like riding a dirt bike, but without a seat. It's not brutal if you're just cruising around, but you can never just chill and cruise around like you can on a sit down ski.
Them jet ski boys--brapp brapp!
Take the bow line and hook it around the mid-cleat. After launch just pull that line. The boat will float parallel to the dock allowing you to easily tie the boat stern then bow to the dock; always in that order.
I moved my boat to a rack storage marina and I couldn’t be happier! No more spending 3 hours at the ramp and dealing with the weekend warriors to take my boat out for a couple hours. I couldn’t take it anymore…
Now those are ACTUAL jet skis. The other craft that you straddle & SIT ON... are correctly called... PWC's = Personal Water Craft! 😊 Either way, they are most often "pesky water craft"! Or irresponsible, reckless water craft flees! 🤔
Jet ski is a brand, not a vessel type. Jet ski makes sit down PWCs and there are other brands of stand up skis other than Jet Ski.
@DonziGT230 ok... I stand technically corrected (sort of)! 😉 Strictkly speaking, It just seems that the stand-up configuration resembles more of an actual (standing up) water skiing. Versus a sitting configuration. Which is operated more like other small water craft. One does not typically operate small water craft like someone who is standing on a pair or one slalom ski... powered by a "jet" of water. Instead of being TOWED by some other type of craft. That's why I personally differentiate between the two (jet skis & PWC's). Both being quite differently operated! But, described by the same INTERCHANGEABLE terms? Seems is technically, just a widely accepted "as an accurate" label. But yet, is a widely accepted mis-nomer. I think using "PWC" for craft that you sit on... is differentiating the two terms more correctly. 🤔 But... who am I to say that the majority in this world... could possibly be inaccurate or wrong? We all know that the majority... can never be wrong. Right??? 😉
backing up a narrow trailer is a pita.
No its not! Not for me. And, those who understand what they're doing with observations & simple logic! 😊
Slow baby turns
Yup. I've backed 30+ foot boat trailers into my driveway with less effort than my little utility trailer. I won't even try to back a single ski trailer in unless I can see it out the back of the vehicle.
Certainly can be... I've backed trailers up without issue since I was a kid... Well into my 30s I tried backing up with one of those rental flood light trailers.. Smaller than a single pwc trailer.. What a pain in the ass
How old is this footage? These ramps were re done a long time ago.
That happens all the ti,time, with jet skis speeding all the time in a no wake zone
I dont know why the fish ski guys dont put guide poles on the trailer. I have a fishpro just like that. $60 for poles. the best money I ever spent. I can turn around in the drivers seat and stab that trailer in right where I want it the first time. the poles are also great if are loading with a lot of waves or wind.
Time for a Tesla Compilation????
At 5:30. the truck can't see his jet ski trailer, making impossible to back down.
That’s when you gotta do the tippy toes head out the window method 😎
Jet ski boy wasn't trying to get it back on plane, he was making failed attempts to show off for the camera.
A tip for all the non backing up people out there. Put your hand on the bottom of the wheel and move your hand the way you want the trailer to go.
clearly the commentator doesn't understand a stand up jetski lol
Or maybe he understands that the operator could do what he's supposed to and drag through the water at low speed.
Boring..
