DEEP Mercedes 560SL Hardtop RESTORATION Detailing & Dry Ice Cleaning

This classic Mercedes Benz 560SL Hardtop came to us for a total facelift. We detailed this car so deeply that one might be tempted to call it a total restoration of the car. We started with dry ice cleaning and washed the filthy car up nice before we dove in to a deep paint correction, softtop restoration, interior detailing, and chrome polish. We also painted various pieces of the car and brought it back to looking practically new!

    • He ruined the Mercedes by blasting the undercarriage, he blasted off the cosmoline put on by the factory to protect it from rust.

  • Sure does respect the quality of cars that were build in the 70' and early 80'.. High quality chromes fixtures, dash trims wooden panels... Not like nowdays, all are made of cheap plastics, and yet the sold it higher in prices... Lacking those quality builds of the 70' 80'

  • Bear in mind that this big car only has 227 horsepower. My 2007 SL550 came from the factory with 382. And my 2014 E350 coupe came with 302 horsepower.

  • You have to cover the engine bay before you start scraping/cleaning the hood, debris fell into the engine bay that is impossible to remove, you can even see it on the floor. Plus the hood will get damaged by leaving it without a hood pad like that.
