The Razer Kiyo Pro is a more premium webcam which means that it costs more and should in theory be better. But will the Razer Kiyo X be enough for your needs? The Razer Kiyo Pro provides 1080p at 60 frames per second and the Razer Kiyo X provides 1080p at 30 frames per second, although you can get 60 frames per second if you drop the resolution down to 720p. We take a look at both in different lighting scenarios so you can decide which is more suitable for you.

comparing those two, i prefer the colour and general image of the Pro, the audio is in my opinion much better too. just in case folks haven't got external audio yet, what a great Comparision video.
I agree, the Kiyo Pro does perform better in my opinion, but it should really for the price difference. The Pro does offer a really crisp looking picture and I would recommend it as long as that auto focus is turned off :) Thank you as always for stopping by and checking out the video.

But with the webcam videos you posted, I recently got a new microphone called JLab GoTalk. BRO! I fuckin love you! Lol quick and to the damn point. Not all the random rambling, that others do. I have the pro, but I game and record with a friend. I'm using a spare Galaxy S20 Ultra, as a second came on him. I was thinking if I should get the X, or another pro. I think the X may suffice for that.
lol cheers buddy, i'm glad you like the style of us getting straight into the video. I imagine that the image quality on the Galaxy S20 Ultra is really good, you may not notice an improvement in image quality by switching it to a webcam, but if you're looking for something then yeah I agree the X should do a pretty good job, just make sure you've got some lighting on your friend :)

Hello Danny, I hope you're well buddy :) I don't think I tested out any zooming on the Razer Kiyo X unfortunately. The Razer Kiyo Pro allows you to change the field of view using the Synapse software which you should be able to bring over to your Zoom calls. If you're looking for something that's cheaper which also allows you to change the field of view then it could be worth checking out the Anker Powerconf C200 webcam, here is a link to the video - kzhead.info/sun/YKpwdcNwZIOeoZ8/bejne.html Another one which may be worth checking is the Creative Live! Cam Sync V3, this one has a button on top of the webcam which allows you to zoom up to 4 times without having to do anything within software to be able to do it - kzhead.info/sun/ibWgoc-xmYecfpE/bejne.html I hope this helps.

How do you fix the issue of having to re plug the Kiyo pro in every time you boot the PC up ? It never recognizes when I boot my PC up but it recognizes when I unplug it and plug it back in.
Hello there buddy. That's not an issue I ever experienced with the Kiyo Pro, it always worked fine. What I would try is to make sure you've got the latest firmware installed. Also, try it in a different USB port, so if you've currently got it installed in the front of the case, then try it in the back and see if that helps at all.

@@UnknownUser-vz2kp I did use Synapse, but I tended to use OBS and configure stuff like exposure and disabling the auto focus in there.
Razer Kiyo Pro with 60fps is even better. Sorry Razer Kiyo X

Sorry to hear you've had issues with them :( Did you still have issues with the Kiyo Pro? I found that one to be better. If you use OBS then you can manually configure the exposure settings in there and use it as a virtual camera if you want to bring it into other software like Zoom calls for example and keep the exposure setting you have configured.
