Woodturning - You Can't Guess What I'm Making!

Last year I made one of these and it wasn't quite perfect, so I knew I had to perfect the design. I bought a new insert type that works so much better than the previous one. I've been working on this inbetween projects for over a month so i hpe you like it. I'm pleased with how it turned out.
For this video, I used pinecones and green and purple epoxy resin.
The epoxy has been sanded to 10000 grit and finished with polish and a buff.
Let me know what you think, and if you'd buy one!

Disclaimer:
My videos are for entertainment purposes only. Some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest, so when using any tool or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines first.
And Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practice. The gloves I wear are tight-fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT copy my actions if you feel unsafe doing so.

  • What do you think of the colour choices? What colour should I do next time? 🤔 4:51

    • My opoinion is that, the colors can be stronger. The green and the purple is great for this, but the luminosity is can more.

  • You're right: I couldn't guess! I thought you were making a Christmas lamp, with the pine cones. However, this coffee thermomug is brilliant! Well done!
