  • I don’t think people take the time to realize that we are literally witnessing history in the making and greatness right in front of our eyes. What this young lady did for women’s basketball in the span of a year is absolutely unheard of and nothing short of LEGENDARY. I love her story and will always be rooting for her

We Hawkeye fans do, too, and though I want them to win every single game, at the end of the day its plain as day the team is made up of just really great human beings and this team transcends basketball. This interview makes me cry, and I have every time I'm reminded there are no more Carver CC22 games but man am I excited for the wave that follows and the bright future in life and ball for Caitlin and the rest of the Hawkeyes of '24! Its been such a privilege and we are all so proud!! Go Hawks!! 🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛

  • Do not underestimate the value of her growing up with a competitive older brother. Caitlin is TOUGH AS NAILS because she grew up competing against naturally stronger guys. And her brothers were probably relentless and didn't "let" her win. She had to EARN her wins. This is why she is unfazed by the heckling, the opponent intimidation, etc., and can get in the lane and finish against anyone. Love this girl.

    • @@Dinky-gu3fibird also had no college ring because he lost to Magic but that lead to the biggest rivalry in NBA history and saved the NBA and both Magic and Bird are two of the all time greats. The only reason why both Bird and Caitlin didn’t win a championship is because basketball is a team sport and it matters who your teammates are and the simple fact that both were the single top tier players on their team that carried their teams to the finals and for Caitlin two years in a row shows just how good of a player she is. They played teams that were stacked with all American players built to win championships like UConn and SC plus when it comes to Caitlin they play back to back with no time for rest then add in all the media that she has to do because of the demand while the other teams got to rest their players then they also played the later game and have a deeper bench that allowed for their players to be switched out where as for Iowa their entire team played the whole game for all games throughout the tournament. If they gave them more time before the final game there could have easily been a different outcome because look at how they were able to win against LSU this year and even beat SC last year because they played them earlier in the tournament. Plus you only have to look at the many top players like LeBron, Jordan, Curry, etc. and how many years they were in before they even won a Championship. There isn’t a single player that just joined the NBA that I can think of with all the hype and went on to win championships nonstop. Basketball is more then just one player it’s about the team around them and how they make the players around them play better. How they revolutionize the game, etc. which is why what Caitlin has done for women’s basketball and how she does play like Curry and does make the players on her team better players makes her one of the top players if not the goat of women’s basketball. Only time will tell in the end on how many championships she will end up with but I don’t doubt she will be seeing quite a few in her future.

    • @@dylanloveskellytaylor4774 Do the math and not the stats. No Trophy + No Ring = No GOAT. The media is trying to continue the Caitlin Clark hype because they want to chose who the public/masses should idolize or have as their hero. Bird is, never was, and never will be any hero of mine. Caitlin Clark/Iowa a two (2) back to back NCAA Championship FLOPS!... You can worship her, it's a free country.

  • Stewart matriculated to an institution with a long established history of national success, including 13 final four appearances and 7 national championships before her arrival. She then had the opportunity to play for this legendary program along side other 5-star recruits and future pros like Morgan Tuck and Moriah Jefferson. In light of these facts, one would hope for a bit more humility when speaking of an athlete who went to an in-state school that had only made one Final Four prior to her arrival and led them to two national championship finals during her tenure. As much as Clark's remarkable achievements may have helped grow the game, Stewart's self-serving berating of Clark's success does just the opposite! I recommend that everyone grab an oar and row together if you wish to build on the success of the past season borne in large part by Clark's stellar performance and leadership. If you need an example of what that would look like, watch Dawn Staley's post-game remarks about Clark following South Carolina's national championship win over Iowa.

  • A lot of these female athletes have a great relationship with their father and received a lot of support from him early in their athletic career. I have a feeling that there are going to be a lot of girl dads watching WNBA games now, lol.

  • Talented young woman I had been awaiting a female that can shoot and make deep 3 pointers and she has fulfilled that, also good midrange,FT,assists and ball handling.

  • Whether it is with Iowa in NCAA or Indiana with WNBA, Caitlin will Continue to Pack The House both at home AND on the road. I've heard that ESPN will pay the WNBA $100M for TV rights for Caitlin's rookie year! Caitlin's contribution to WNBA will result in more expansion teams and more young women being able to play in the WNBA!! 12 teams today...18 teams "tomorrow"!! 🏀 ... CAITLIN ROCKS!!

  • That disgust about losing is nothing to suppress when you want to be pro player. All the greats have it.

  • Ms Clark potentially has a great career in basketball. Both in professional as well as Olympic! Both her along several others of this year’s collegiate players, if they so choose.

  • Breaks my heart how she talks about how much she looks up to WNBA players and yet they trash on her in interviews. So so obvious they are jealous of her and her accomplishments.
