  • I'm no KZhead expert but I actually don't think that everyone has to have a niche. I have personally enjoyed Joey's content no matter if he's filming a dog give birth or vlogging in Japan. And just look at Pewdiepie! He's still one of the biggest youtubers in the world and his content has been all over the place for years lol. Him doing whatever content he feels like doing is what makes him fun to watch tbh. If the creator is having fun creating, the right audience will love the content. ❤

    • I agree! I’ve always watched a wide variety of content, from beauty to gaming to true crime, and I don’t think that’s necessarily wrong. I think the algorithm often pigeon holes people into having a niche, but if you really think about it it’s a natural human tendency to have multiple interests or even just be curious about more than just the things we’re routinely interested in. We wouldn’t know what interests us without curiosity!

Especially with someone like Joey (or Anthony for that matter) who started doing this when they were young, they're not gonna be the same people or have the exact same interests now that they're 30+.   • Joey was my world growing up! from upper elementary through eighth grade he kept me confident, and was a reminder daily that I was enough! Seeing his smile and laugh today immediately brings me back to how much he’s meant to me, I think about how he’s doing today often , and seeing him smile and talk about his life makes me so happy! 🎉❤ Thank you so much for this opportunity to connect with my childhood again! 🥰❤️

  • KZhead Red/KZhead Originals really fumbled the bag, especially in their shut down process. Cancelling a successful, long running show like escape the night and the whole mess that Dan Howell went through…. They could have been so good. But just mismanaged.

  • Joey was a great example for me growing up, I’m from Costa Rica and usually in latin american culture and tv, we have gay characters that just joke about stereotypes, I felt really ashamed when I was a teenager and watching Joey being happy, cute and having fun being openly gay was amazing, I even leaned a lot of English watching KZhead and playing Pokémon on an emulator on my really old pc haha ❤️

  • Oh god i remember I watched Joey way back when he played Minecraft, lived with Sawyer Hartman and was in that weird ass ship with SD. I even got a calendar? 😂 I’m so glad he’s thriving with the dog rescue channel and Escape The Night series.
