He was extremely often played this season, because people didn't expect his traps, or wasn't used to looking for it anymore. Now as he appears more often again, people will look more carefully for Traps, and so people start using him less again. And the loop will start again in a few seasons. But I do think he is very well balanced (dont know about the scopes tho)

I was a Kapkan main for the few months I’ve started, I never left him completely I would always go back to him when I got bored of my at the time main (especially when I got black ice for his gun) so me already KNOWING he’s OP this update was amazing. The reinforcement pool, the new 1.5 sight and no nerf makes him so much better compared to his already amazing self.
Imagine a gamemode where every round you ban a new operator, and after 3 rounds the ban gets removed, so the bans keep changing constantly

I really like this change, my defender mains are Kapkan and Mute so it's pretty helpful.

If you run Kapkan you’ve gotta run silenced shotgun with the PMM secondary. Shotgun for up close and personal and PMM for literally any other distance. I used to make my teammates so salty with that setup, mostly because I could get it to work!
