So the last dude is so concerned about his safety telling the guy to watch his mirror. Then he proceeds to break it completely off and drive the wrong way down a highway with no regard for his safety or others. As a fellow rider, grow up dude.

That first person in the white car is so entitled. Why is it okay to fly past everyone in line, then try to cut in? Then when they Don't let, you take a special little tantrum, and try to cut the person off, further on, failing miserably, and try to blame them?! I noticed in the comments on the live leak post, that someone mentioned that he was trying to avoid a pedestrian. The pedestrian was quite a ways from him, and his only goal wasvroad rage at the person who did not let the big baby cut in line.
Looked like he was thinking about fleeing the scene then quickly changed his mind to try blaming it on the cammer.

Something very similar to this happened to me back in '07. The other car attempted to perform an unsignalled 'U' turn directly in front of me on an 80kph road. He told the cops that I had run into the back of him, but the cops were less than convinced when I pointed out the all the damage to his car was to his driver's door and front fender and a slight scrape to the top of my front *right hand* fender.

The last guy gives everyone a reason to hate motorcyclist. They're always splitting lanes and destroying other people's cars, and then they think they have the brains to teach someone how to drive.
Using these videos as a reason to hate motorcyclists is painting with a very broad brush. I do believe that California is the only state that allows lane splitting. Since this didn't happen in California (they require front plates; the cars in the video didn't have them) he is breaking the law that way, as well as destroying someone else's property. There are so many things this guy was doing that were unlawful in this video. Most motorcyclists are not like this guy.
Splitting lanes is legal in certain states. Has absolutely nothing to do with it

Craven Moorehead I agree. First of all, you bet your ass it's very important who hit who. That's the reason why dash cams exist and should exist in cars. But poor judgment on that woman's part aside, I appreciate her trying to do damage control, even though I assume that didn't work too well after the fact. But no one is going to ever tell me that it doesn't matter who caused the accident, yes it fucking does. And if they run from the scene, what does that tell you then?
I do not mean to be disrespectful by this comment. But people who say it matters who hit who it only matters to the insurance companies. Police are there if anybody needs assistance for injuries or if vehicles or debris are blocking the roadway. And they will take a report to document what happened if an accident is worthy of a report and can cite people at their discretion. Cops do not determine fault of accidents, insurance companies do.

That guy in the 2nd video is so lucky! I witnessed an accident in Canada where a rolled hay bale hit a bridge when being transported by a semi truck. The hay bales literally crushed the windshield and nearly crushed the driver. And that’s hay! This guy literally had an entire container the size of a semi truck. He’s so lucky!
That was the scariest one by far! I watched that clip quite a few times. The driver didn't even seem fazed either. I would have had a greater reaction of shock than that. Just watching the video I was losing it.
@@disasterdinosaur2925 the driver may not have felt the first impact, the second one he obviously saw the container go though. Those are pick and drop loads usually so I bet the trailer was mismarked which lead to all of this.

9:00 Saw the Reddit thread for this one, iirc it was some kid who lived a few blocks away. When the kid's dad saw the damage to the car he made him go back and get in touch with the homeowner.

Right, it doesn't matter to her but it does matter to those involved. Insurance makes the determination based on who gets the ticket. So it really should matter to the police as well. Granted I understand why she said it didn't matter, to defuse the situation. However her saying it doesn't matter, will not stop the idiot from yelling at the cammer.
@@VinyMedusa Actually no insurance does not decide who gets cited. they determine who is at fault, helps with getting your car repaired at shops that they work with and help with towing your vehicles also with tow companies they work with. Police are there to document (write a report) what happened if it is report worthy. Most places from what I have heard usually if it is a very minor accident, approximately $1,500 to the eye, they won't even provide a case number. They are there to assist if needed for injuries, or if debris or vehicles are blocking roadways. They can also cite or make arrest at their discretion if the result of the accident was from something illegal or for breaking traffic laws.
Don't be a 2nd set of eyes for the bus or to back up.

That very first one, the cams caught that white Hyundai driver following and basically trying to setup the phony "You hit me in the back of my car!" claim, when the cam caught him trying to squeeze in and side-swiping the cammer's car. It's videos like that, which are convincing me more and more that I should invest in a dashcam system.
PS. Not sure, but that looks a LOT like downtown San Francisco, which I hate driving in as it is, because of the aggressive nature of the bicyclists in that city.

That alone would have been freaky behavior, but then to go through all that and then force a collision to try and claim it was the other guy's fault. I think there's a loophole that if there isn't a spot for it, you don't need to have it cause here in Texas you're supposed to have front and back but because I have a after market bumper on my truck I don't have to have one. I also don't hit and run like a coward so.... yeah

@@allspooledup2584 Driving defensively is safer than filtering. You don't allow yourself to get caught in between cars. You stay at the outside edge of the car ahead, stay in gear, and watch your mirrors. If someone comes in hot, you pull along side the car ahead, and car hits car. Truckers call it space management. Plus it is not illegal in 49 states!

@@allspooledup2584 I really get a kick out of all the lane splitters talking about safety when most of the ones I have seen in action is nothing near to safe. I am seventy years old, and have been biking a big share of that time. And defensive driving works. Knock on wood, but I have not been taken out on my bike or in a truck. I have received several safe driving awards also. And it is all defensive driving. Maintaining and managing distances on all sides, identifying hazards, watching well ahead, and other traits that everyone can work on developing into their driving style. It takes some work at first, but it becomes an automatic habit or trait after awhile. I realize this is not a 100 0/0 promise of avoidance of an accident, but the chances of becoming part of an accident really shrinks. Being in the open with space to work with gives me more options than being in three feet of space between a bunch of cagers. From bike and semi both, I have not developed a trust of cage drivers enough to put myself in between two or more of them. I guess both of us will just have to play the odds as we see them. I wish you happy and SAFE bikin'!
