Im glad this is the first comment, the autocannon is pretty much my primary, it has so much ammo too. Lol and the magdumping the mushrooms when they take just two autocannon shots. AND he took the farmer double barrel shotgun so he cant even use it lmao
Yeah that was pain. So much wasted primary ammo and never even pulled out the way more efficient weapon despite the ammo issues.

I had no prior knowledge of this game, never heard of it before releasing, but shortly after I decided to just buy it since it looked fun, most fun gaming experience I've had in a long time. Only current complaint is the same as everyone else. The servers. Fantastic game, so excited to see future updates

The leap that was made between HD1 and HD2 is incredible. Go back and check out some old gameplay and you'll be even more blown away by how incredible this game turned out

Let's be honest, if 343 tried to make this it wouldn't have been good. They had a chance to make Halo Infinite great, they had a chance to make the Halo TV series great, and they bombed both. Maybe they'll turn around under the new leadership, but so far 343 is like a curse to whatever project it works on in my opinion.

Jack you need to use your auto cannon so much more. You can use it to eliminate hoards of medium bugs like the bile spitters and big green bile mortars. Instead of wasting your shotgun on me.
The other thing Jack needs to pick up is what 'you hit armor for zero damage' looks like, to stop wasting shotgun ammo on Charger armor and the like.
Word is that what ships do in space is triggered by other player's actions: Using stratagems, winning, losing,...

@@logandixson2617 Actually you could do an interesting take on difficulty with 40k in this style. Very Easy? Primaris. (Because Space Marine Space Marines.) Easy? You play Space Marines. (guess.) Medium? Sisters of Battle or Mechanicum. ('Mere mortals' with really good gear.) Hard? Tempestus Scions or Inquisitorial Stormtroopers. (Actual Mortals with good gear.) Helldive? Imperial Guard Regulars. (The poor bloody infantry.) You could have unique gear for each of them with a few carry overs. (Frag and Krak grenades for example, are universal.) Do the same thing as Helldivers 1-2 where stats don't change by difficulty, just the spawns, missions and such.

They fixed matchmaking/quick join at last. Only problem now is capacity. Their servers are swamped again, lol. Been queued for 30 mins so gave up. Hopefully they can spin up some more slots to meet the insane demand.
Apparently, one part of the server capacity issue is players not actually logging out of the game, but rather going afk on their ship.
Afk timers are on their way apparently
Also players on pc and ps5 have found ways to skip the que.

When someone's ship gets destroyed in the orbit it means someone in your layer loss the mission

Awesome video Jack, thanks for making it. The amount of things that were put in to delight the players / devs is insane (destroyers being blown up over the robot planets, the map table going 3D after you've selected the mission and your about to drop, players slightly slipping on pure ice, snowballs, the stratagem Hero mini game and on and on) - any other project these would have been cut / dropped for the dev budget / time, obviously this was a major goal in the budget on this (to have so much of it) and makes the game such a gem.
Between this and Baldur's Gate 3, my summer is set
BG3 keeps getting huge updates all the time, probably time for 2nd play-through once find the time. Brilliant game.

Your friend is right, the automatons are much much harder than terminids, however I've found that because the robots are already so hard you don't really notice an increase in difficulty when going lvl 8 or 9, meanwhile an suicide or helldive into bugs is awful

A trick for steam players with friends: If one friend is in the game, you can accept their invite and you will bypass the queue, worked for us at least

Amazing how awesome this game is. Devs really nailed every category to make it a glorious and fun experience! I'm not even a co-op type gamer (last co-op game for me was L4D2) but THIS GAME, my gods am I having a blast! Has easily become my #1 game being played with the others collecting dust outside of occasional SQUAD (can't wait for their next update coming)!

Just saying Jack, the autocannon that collected dust on your back is explosive. It's strong against exposed weak points like charger butts and spitters. It's also blows up bug holes as an explosive ammo so you don't need grenades for them.

There is a starship trooper skeleton in armor on one of the crash sites on the colder planet in sector 2 of the tyranid front found it last night, armor and helmet are spot on

I'm happy someone gets to enjoy this game. I've got 38 minutes in game according to Steam and all I've gotten is a either a black screen or a server unavailable screen.
When you get the "server is full" message, just let it sit and wait. You'll get in eventually.
When I first started I was so mad playing this game with how hard it was, then I learned the citizen escort defense missions against the robots are waaaay tougher than the other starting mission 😂
Not using the auto cannon to close holes was pure pain. One of the best support weapons for utility was just there for a show lol.

This game is so fun. I’ve just been joining randoms and it’s still just very fun. TBH it’s just relaxing to play. It’s difficult when it needs to be but nothing you can’t figure out. I’m enjoying the progression system as well, feels rewarding
