In this video I turn a live edge cherry bowl (more cherry from my garden) I also had a few issues with cracking, and a nasty catch along the way. Didn't turn out quite how I'd of liked and the finish on the inside wasn't the best either.

Excellent technique and form. Love the way this turned out cherry can be so spectacular. Good job preserving the edge. Thanks for sharing it with us

Catch, been there done that. Oh well let's just make a design change. All part of learning how to manage our gouges.

- I agree with Ronald you must the catch is a definite Déjà-vu and Déjà-vu for me 😂. Nice piece of work there. Like the grain and colour of cherry.

- Hi, I used Hampshire sheen sanding sealer followed by Yorkshire grit abrasive paste and finished with Hampshire sheen high gloss wax.
