Hi. @Made in Poland here. Welcome to our second channel :)
The Electric Roller Bender is a very useful tool when, for example, we are building vehicles or structures with irregular shapes.

  • It's always a pleasure to watch your videos.You take home-made machines to another level.I'd like to see people like you someday making especially robust power tools.Electric drills, grinders, jigsaws, in short, everything we use on a daily basis.Power tools built to be nearly indestructible, bearings, shafts, gears, oversized, which traditional manufacturers will never do.

  • Hi there! A good project! I saw during your video were you said you didn’t have a good way to cut keyway slots. FYI, I was watching another video where the guy cut his keyway slots with his lathe. He put the end mill in his three way chuck and had made a holder for the tool post made out of what looked like 1 inch square stock welded to the heel of what looked like 2 inch x 2 inch by 1/4 inch angle iron about 1 foot long. He drilled 2 holes in the ends of the angle iron to hold 2 u-bolts. He placed the bar that needed the keyway cut in it in the angle iron and clamped it down with the u-bolts. To cut the keyway he used the cross feed of the lathe. Keep up the good work and good videos. Keith McCord, Ashville, Alabama, USA

  • Overall very nice. Some things I would change: larger wheels so you waste less stock at the bar ends. DRO on the ram for repeatability, also the ability to turn it 90deg for horizontal rolling of very large hoops.

    @stephensarkany3577@stephensarkany35772 жыл бұрын
    • It''s not the size of the wheels that determines the length of the wasted ends [Green in the trade]. It;s the distance between centres of the driven wheels. This process is actually called Rolling, as opposed to bending. where the material is formed around a Former, and Folding, where it is bent at a relatively sharp angle. He has done an excellent job, apart from the wheel spacing, and has not shot himself in the foot when he decides to add the two angled side rollers needed to roll angled sections. There is definitely an art in it!
