  • A basic keyboard with an even more basic review. As a keyboard enthusiast, not a sinlge question was answered. The only comment made about the switches is that they're 'clicky'. No mention of the actuation and not even a sound test. No really mention of the keycap type, apart from them being backlit. Absolutely nothing about the software and whether the board is capable of adding macros, and whether they can be saved onboard. Surely these are the basics that should be covered on every keyboard review?

    • Well, she answered my questions. And "keyboard enthusiast" you couldn't sound more like a virgin if you tried.

  • Hi, Please critique manufacturers for - 1. Key stabilization. Nobody likes cheap and rattly stabilizers. 2. Extra features - volume scroll wheel, media controls, macros. 3. Build quality - rattle, ip rating etc. 4. PBT keycaps (in high end boards) Don't glorify RGB. It's not worth it.

  • Regarding wrist rest and keyboard tilts, I'm unsure. I seem to move mine around. But try and avoid any chance of indentations/cut offs on the wrists from the table or whatever else. I have placed some cork place mats in front of my das keyboard to lift my hands and the cork feels nice. But I don't always use them, lifting the hands/arms in front of the keyboard can present other issues. You really need to be able to adjust desk height and chair height and what not, until you hit some sweet spot. For me that can change! I've had shoulder neck issues I've been trying to shake for years, and still haven't hit the secret recipe. And I've tried a few.

  • I own one of these myself, very good keyboard, I spilled water/soda on it a few times and it still works, as appose to my old SS Apex 3 that broke immediately after I spilled soda on it.

  • Does anyone here know the function of the led indicator marked "G" to the right of the capslock led indicator on the MSI GK50 Elite? if on most keyboards the led indicator to the right of the capslock led indicator should function as Scroll Lock, but on this MSI GK50 Elite when I press the scroll button then the led indicator to the right of the capslock indicator led doesn't light up, please help me

  • Wrist rest - I consider it mandatory, As in I'll skip over a keyboard that doesn't have it. Sure one could add one, but I find the height of aftermarket ones are generally not quite right height wise and way too soft for my liking.
