High-Risk Encounter: China's Jet Drops Flares on Australian Chopper | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Last weekend, in a tense encounter over the Yellow Sea, a Chinese fighter jet executed a provocative action by deploying flares close to an Australian naval helicopter, according to Canberra. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the incident as "completely unacceptable" during a recent television interview. The MH-60R Seahawk was patrolling international waters to enforce United Nations sanctions on North Korea when the Chinese jet introduced flares into its flight path, significantly endangering the crew aboard. Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles highlighted the severe risk posed to the aircraft and its personnel, calling the manoeuvre as unsafe. This incident could further strained the diplomatic relations between the two nations. China has defended the jet pilot's actions as necessary in response to what it claims was a provocative move by the Australian helicopter. Palki Sharma brings you the full story.

Miss Dumy Pakli obviously left out details that if any military aircraft comes close to another country without said notification and permission, it will be perceived as provocation under international law. International waters only applies to non-militatry aircraft/vessels, so citing it justification is legally incorrect

US was mainly a positive force before 1945, then the evil empire took over, killed FDR, the Kennedy's, framed Nixon. And "Voila" the deed is done. This is why USA who had a great relationship with Russia, turned around and immediately hated Russia in one month, because British hatred for Russia since 1850's was carried with them in the US when they took over. • @@jokeychin Correction. That's what the rest of the world believes too. Apart from the brain-washed true believers of their intrepid C*C*P cult leader waiting for him to eliminate their population just like his predecessor Mao did during the 'Great Leap Forward, 'Cultural Revolution' and Deng Xiaping's 'Tiananmen Square'. Remember those days, before the one-child policy? No wonder China's demographic population decline has literally fallen off a cliff. Between Mao, Deng Xiaoping and the Cult Leader, what chance does China stand? China is collapsing from within.

  • I feel very worried when I cannot believe a single word coming out of the mouth of our Prime Minister and his Noddies standing around him. This "Game Playing" by foreign forces was going on when I was in the Australian Navy from 1964 to 1984. I served on ships where our Captain pushed the boundaries as well. Whether you like it or not, that Australian warship patrolling in that area and its helicopter were pushing the boundaries. They were duly warned that they were being observed.
