It might sound like twisted logic, but military forces everywhere argue that the greater the firepower they possess, the greater the chance of maintaining peace. In other words, massive weaponry is the best deterrent to war. Right now the theory is being tested like never before, and much of it is happening in Australia’s backyard, the Indo-Pacific region. The United States wants the world, and more particularly China, to know of its increasing presence there, and to do that it’s putting on a spectacular show. Reporting from the hotly contested South China Sea, Amelia Adams reveals the U.S. military in full-flight is an extraordinary sight to behold.

Having been colonized by the United States for a long time, Filipinos will not feel embarrassed about being protected by the colonists. The Philippine national governance is poor, the government is corrupt, and the people's lives are miserable. Earning foreign exchange depends on selling fruits, and Filipino maids go abroad for labor services and tourism. The Philippines is a hopeless place.

As a matter of fact millions and millions of Filipinos have Chinese ancestry. China is the largest foreign investor in the Philippines. Nobody buys more Filipino products than China. You invited the Americans back I to your country. You think they are going to protect you. Remember this proverb. The sheep spend their entire life afraid of the wolf, but in the end it's the Sheppard who kills them and eats them.

  • I use to go to Taiwan a lot when I was designing bicycle parts. I met the nicest people there, from Chinese and other Country people residing there. I even met some people from the Philippines that were working on bridges and roadways. I’m going home to visit the family for a little bit and then coming back. Godly people and carring for every one.

  • According to Filipino military officials. General McArthur was impressed by the Philippines "jungle army" fought the Japanese in WW ll and the Chinese in 1950s Korean War. War was not over for China; Hence, China was behind the Vietnam War and Communist rebels in the Philippines provinces. The Filipinos doubted that China came in peace to explore the WPS ocean floor in the 1990s, but the U.S. intervened.

    • “China was behind the Vietnam war” what planet are you on? China invaded Vietnam in 1979, and got repulsed. The Vietnamese got more support from Russia than the Chinese and had to give up a lot of their oil and gas reserves to the Russians after the war such was their debt to Moscow. Cam Ranh bay, one of the world best deep water ports was also leased to the Russians for (I think) 30 or 40 post-war years.

    • ​@@fidget2020 Please do not ignore "According to Filipino military officials", hundreds of South Vietnamese fled the Vietnam to live in the Philippines included the WPS islands in 1970's, claimed many Chinese soldiers posed themselves as "Vietcong" because the North Vietnam doesn't have enough soldiers to fight the American and its allies combined during the Vietnam War.

    • @@gadguillen The Chinese did send troops in the very early days (when Ho Chi Minh was playing both communist superpowers off against each other) but by about 1968 they had gone. From about 1969 on it was the Soviets' who supported the North Vietnamese.
