I now have an EXCLUSIVE CLUB where you can interact with me 1 on 1, see videos I can't share on KZhead due to their CENSORSHIP, and see pictures/read stories about my adventures!
the-mink-man-s-club.mn.co/pla...
We also have new merch! To buy my book, hat, or T-shirt follow this link... the-mink-man.myshopify.com/
If you would like to help support my channel another way, this is a link to my Patreon account. / minkman
Is the new channel the same as the Vimeo? I still have the Vimeo and need to know if I should keep it or not.
Vimeo will still continue to show my new exclusive videos. This new channel is more of a community. The plat form is very different from KZhead or Vimeo, in that it allows me to share whatever I want. For example, in addition to the exclusive videos you see on Vimeo, you also get updates, stories, pictures, polls, and it is easier to communicate with me directly. You are welcome to say on Vimeo, as you will still get my exclusive videos, but due to the way the platform is set up, I can simply share more on my new Exclusive Club. Here's the link to my exclusive club if you want to check it out.... the-mink-man-s-club.mn.co/plans/195707?bundle_token=d792cc358549173b8a47b0f3e97b25d6&
I've followed this channel and the vimeo channel for a long time and I hardly ever go on them now everything that is posted on here and vimeo is on the exclusive club plus lots more content it's a 100% better platform and I'm loving it. Better videos better stories plus you can ask Jo pms. Really glad I joined.
I get charged for Vimeo. Does the new channel charge too? I'm retired and on a fixed income. I would pay for both but I can't. Thank you!
@@nanettebarling1222 yes it charges but no longer need vimeo if in the club

What amazes me the most is the fact that Joseph has an immune system comparable to that of a street rat.
You NEVER cease to amaze me with your animal super powers, Joe. "Get in your box" Boon goes right in. That's endless hours of love and training / conditioning.
Seeing Boon rub against you like an affectionate cat is so cute. He earned his reward at the end for that muskrat.
It looks like he was drying himself off on his jeans lol
"Schmuffalumps & Woozels"😛
The endurance and focus that boon has is impressive
One of, if not the most original channels on YT. I admittedly don’t get to watch all of the videos, but every one I do watch is very entertaining, and his patience and training are top notch.
Agreed 😁👍
What a team!!! Here comes the BOON! That was impressive, Boon’s progress is astounding! Also thought it was pretty cool when you picked up the two of them in that death lock :p
Love Boon using Joe's pants as an after dinner napkin.🤣
I always love that little clip at the end of you holding Bindi, showing her the raccoon, wow she is raring to go!
It's bitter sweet seeing you guys catch an old veteran muskrat. He was clearly an expert in evading mink, no problems juking Boon. Unfortunate that your mink have help from human eyes. It's nice seeing Boon get confidence though :)
Why? Did you want that muskrat to get a little bigger first? lol. I will say, that was one of the faster moving ones ive seen on this channel. (In the water of course).
Think of it that you’re watching a human hunt with a domesticated mink rather than from the angle of one wild mink vs one wild muskrat. Joe and Boon are equally in it together, just as humans are almost as much predators by nature as mink are. Sure the muskrat is outnumbered 2 to 1, but this isn’t supposed to be a fair fight. It is something that you don’t get to see every day, though. :)
I think Joe should train a Falcon next. Then Boon & Bindi will have air support!
@@stupidjones1223 Muskrats especially the "Swamp Muskrats" get way larger in the state of Louisiana(my home state) some are easy 1400 or 3.5/4 lbs ,new York and New York New York sewer rats do get around 1275 2.5bs in weight but are longer and slimer builds, canine inscizors are broader and a lighter thinner teeth but nothing a field Muskrat or swamp Muskrat. I genuinely miss Boon(he would be been around 4 pushing 5 next year being a season veteran American Mink)
@@timesfly1081 boon was found dead and frozen #ripBoonamericanmink
I just love seeing your work! Helping these beautiful and deadly creatures to be the best they can be, but also help others in a way that is natural for them.
@10:33 - I could not stop laughing!! I kept thinking "What if I was walking down the street & saw a car with a mink on the hood?!?" Boon is amazing - thanks Joe & team for another great video! 🙂
Joseph, look behind you. Eleanor is showing you where the muskrat is using rocks. HERE HERE HERE HERE.
😂
I just found your channel and I LOVE what you do! Boon is my newfound hero! And all of your dogs/minks work so well together. Keep it up!
Are you still training other minks? We haven't seen much of that lately. Just wondering. Hope to see you, minks and dogs out at another farm soon. Thanks for sharing.
Mink live 10 years in captivity, 4 in the wild. How long has he been with Broc and the other ones
I had no clue Minks were such efficient killers. Boon moves through water just as effortlessly as he moves on land. Such an impressive little creature. Cute too!
So funny to watch boon dry off on your pants my dog would do that with the towel when you lay it on the floor. Always cracks me up 😂😂❤❤
Boon's turning into a little monster for you. He's so in tune with you, Great training!! Bindi is getting there as well, cant wait to see her in there helping Boon!
Boy boon sure does depend on and trust you as a hunting partner doesn't he
I absolutely love your videos bro!. I lived on the east bench of SLC for 26 years. and Midvale for another 10. I breed rare snakes. and to see a good ol Utah boy doing great things for the environment, is awesome :) . excellent work sir!.
I just love these vids. Thank you.
Boon really is proving himself every time. Curious, do you "retire" your mink when they get to a certain age? Or just judging by their behaviour? Also do you then keep them on as pets?
He makes it clear the mink aren't pets
@@MissMaja24 I'm meaning once they can't work anymore, what happens to them?
@@gobi_oooo2753 thanks! X
@@heleninglis9961 well once somebody came in and let all his make go out of their cages whilst she was not home another one developed neurological problems due to genetics that's all I know
Imagine if Joe brought a Falcon into the mix! 🦅 Picture Boon, Bindi & the gang going ham on the ground while having a Falcon circling above providing air support to catch the squirters 😂
LOL. Boon makes an outstanding "fender ornament". Can you imagine oncoming drivers double-taking watching Boon standing out there ??
I really love how involved and included your kids are. I always have my kids. My oldest is about to start kindergarten and im not ready. 😅 😭
Skin the muskrat and make a coat for boon inorder to confuse the muskrats. Boy will they be surprised when that creepy looking muskrat latches on to their back and suddenly the part below their neck goes numb.
That was incredible to watch. Right on mate!
Boon has gotten so big, it's still amazing watching him grow
God I love everything about your channel and what you do Joe! Like truly truly… What you do is both so beautiful and so incredibly fascinating to witness. God bless you sir!
He really deserved that treat at the end! What a battle!! A real warrior.
Absolutely awesome... You have him trained well... 👍
Boon has really grown in confidence, you have an amazing connection with this incredible mighty hunter. Bravo 🙌
Boon is such a good boy 🙏🏻✌🏻🇺🇸 blessings to u maggie and ur family
I believe you have beaten the challenge of taming mink by watching how Boon responds to your voice and cues. Watching him race down the bank then searching the scent on the water is a joy to behold for me, can you give him a hug for me? 🥰🥰🥰
Excellent wildlife video Joseph. Last time I saw your content you had Olive and now I see you have second child. Congratulations on your growing family.
First time i see this,This is so amazing n you r a mink whisperer..Good job..so nice seeing a mink hunt..
I love this .I used to have polecats n ferrets. N lurchers.the mink are beautiful..keep the vids coming.
I like watching your channel.because you are catching animal that hurt our environment the right way and it safe also thank you so much Joseph Carter
You and boon make an amazing team. Best channel on KZhead!
as usual joe great video 👍 keep em coming joe, 🤝👍😘
Giving a predator the support vision of human from high above is a truly broken combo
For whatever reason watching this is so addictive. Such a cool channel.
My favourite film of all time is "Spartacus", but after seeing this chase of the muskrat, Spartacus is now second best. Thank you for the vid.
Shout out to Eleanor.. 👍 😂 Love your work Sir.
its amazing the mink will stay interested & on task for so long & still have energy for the kill
Boon has really turned out to be an amazing animal!
Boon is certainly bonded to you and you work as a team. Smart mink to follow your lead
The bonding between you and Boon is incredible!
She about got you with one of those rocks. 😂 She needs a refresher on range safety. Been there.
As always. Great video
Boon is DA BOSS! Wow. That muskrat was bigger and heavier than Boon! But Boon didn't seem to notice--or care. lol Great video, Joseph! Thank you again!
Seems like Boone is your version of a cat what a wonderful animal it's good to see that they can be pets as long as you give them something to hunt and they're really smart too surprising
I love it how boon gets the muskrat great video joe.
Boon is the man. Your videos are awesome.
That "Crunch" sended chivers through my spine,OMG Man that was incredible.
...Minkman is just a real world Pokemon trainer... He even looks like an American version of Ash Ketchum atound the 10 min mark If Minkman dressed like Ash and said, 'Boon I choose you', then cut to a drawn out mink battle with a muskrat, and made a little fun effort in making that kind of vid just a single time, I'm 100% sure it would break the internet and bring millions of subs
Watching them.mink swim and move so fast I'd amazing 👏 also your training of them they are vicious lil guys
I like that video you did with the twins your reaction were amazing.
Bro, I've been watching you from day 1, you're making wolverines!! That guy us HUGE
It’s amazing how ferocious and strong Mink are, while at the same time, they’re so damn cute!!!
I discovered your channel like 2 weeks ago when looking for mink diet because I plan to get one. At first I was not interested in watching hunting or dog videos, then I watched Rio's adventure, Fang, Sherni, I miss them as if I knew them for years, and in the end I am watching your videos one by one because of your recording, editing and narrative skills. Your videos and adventures are giving me so much emotions and I am very happy that I discovered you. I feel so close to you, your animals and your family because of the way you record and involve everyone including your viewers. I love your channel, and thanks to you I am way more confident about me raising my baby mink. Lot of love from France. PS: Are you planning to make a twitch channel ??
Good luck with your mink!!
@@blindopossum7913 thank you ! I might even stream it on twitch when time will come because I could not find anyone doing it, I am super excited !
Wow! How cool is that! My dad would have gotten a kick out of this. He used to trap them, but this is just so awesome!
Insane just stumbled on your channel seen few vids , great to see the connection between men and animal.
Amazing video!!! Greetings from Argentina! 🇦🇷
We have some monstrous muskrats in the wetlands of Virginia as well. I always see them where the beavers are. They seem to coexist pretty well with beavers.
I want a Boon in my life! Great video!
Not sure what's more amusing watching boon the slow learner or hearing your "hear hear hear". Ridiculous buffoonery. Love it, well done.
Nice job with the camera. It must be challenging to keep track of the muskrat through the water with the sun glare. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! This one was hard as the sun was making it difficult to see the camera screen and the glare of the water did not help either 😅. I'm glad it turned out even after all that.
Damn those minks are fast and I love that you got GPS on him
Such a hated animal in Britain (invasive) but they are super gorgeous and calm...with you. I know they are not pets but I see Mink in a whole different light thanks to you.
GPS tracker, great idea! Miss you, Fang!!!
Excellent camerawork.
I can’t believe there was no mink man intro! Loved it
I'm curious is there a reason for a while we have only seen Boon and say not Broc or midnight and others or are minks of that age group retired and living there best life thanks in advance for a reply
I would say that Boon is being focused on because Joseph is still trying to improve Boon's caching. It's not easy to train 1 mink, let alone 3 or 4 to cache
Breeding requires testing your animals or plants.
I think it’s because Boon was intimidated a few months ago by a big muskrat, so Joe wants to be sure that Boon take that fear away.
I don’t believe minks live as long as dogs or cats too so it is possible that some of the older crowd have gotten toward the end of their “working life” and are mostly just kicking back now.
Ew he touched the blood
ewwwwww!!! I did hear Boon snap something in last video I just watched lmao ...this is awesome!
Yea, this is crazy ENTERTAINING!!!! THAT MINK IS COOL
He's got such an incredible bond with his mink.
Good work!!!
I been screaming it from the Mountain top !! Boon is on a mission since that big one!! Boon would SMOKE that same Muskrat now !! No doubt 💯💯 !! I can't believe how long Boon stayed underwater like he was making a statement 😳 that he can hold his breath Much longer than your average Joe 😉 Now... Boon has taken away a huge advantage the Muskrat have underwater water!! Nope Nope !! Not on Boon's watch vermin!!! Keep up the Gr8 content Joe !! 👌
Iv done a lot of hunting but this is mad and I like it he has some nerve fair play to. Him 👍👍
Great Job Boon! :)
Mustelas are so sick lol Cute as buttons
Keep up the hard work.
Boon is also growing into his hunter clothes!
Wow.!! Bigger than the mink.!! Good job, Boone. 👍👍❤️🇺🇸✝️
From the 1st video tou seen Boon swim up to its head...This time Boon got himself a little excited and went for the rump... I used to love taken my Polecats and Ferrets out 20yr ago...
Close call with that last rock! 😂😂😂
She is a great mink. You should have lots of pups from him
I found it fascinating watching this that the rat was scared the whole time, trying to escape. You'd think a rat that size could give a Mink a run for its money.
It probably could to be honest. I think they are stuck in that “prey” mindset tho but yeah that muskrat was huge! You see the size of those teeth?!
Love the boon music again
Am actually excited to see what he does
Boon is so determined to catch what he is after. But he love s his time in the car with you after and crawling around to get a great veiw. He loves drying on your tousers. There is absolutely no meaness in boon towards you he is your best little mate.
The fact he is like this makes up for many of the disappointments thrown at you by losses in the past. He has justified all your work.
He's brilliant! Can't stop watching your videos mate. I wish we could keep them here in the UK . Is your book still available? Need to read it last week!🤣
Boon's a real trooper.
Boon had the advantage....due to the muskrat had all that running to do. But still, wow, what a hunt for Mr. Boon the incredible mink.
Good hunt!
So amazing they can move that fast in the water
Boon is getting to be the boss mink! That monster muskrat was getting tired of being chased by The Boss!
#877👍🎉Great chase!! Deep water didn't help; but Boon dispatched the beast!
Great hunting
I love these videos
