    • Exactly. I've had numerous pet rats and I bred and raised them for both pets and feeders (calm affectionate rats stayed in the breeding program, a$$holes went into the feeder pens), but I've also had horses and I have a garden, so I know how destructive wild rats are, especially since the most common one that gets out of control like this, the Norway/Brown rat, while great pets when tamed, are also a very destructive invasive pest. I love seeing natural pest control like this, using natural predators instead of traps and poisons which can kill indiscriminately.
