8.5 years, and never once did any dog attack a mink? That’s incredible! Those dogs are truly something in the heat of the moment.
I honestly trust my dogs more than people. No joke, if you come ratting with me and pick up a shovel or a stick to start hitting rats, I will tell you to put it down or leave. If you notice the same applies to me. I'm never swinging sticks or shovels at rats, because unlike my dogs, I have had accidents and hit my own dog. I do not trust people to not accidentally hit my animals, but I do trust my dogs.
@@JosephCartertheMinkMan Makes sense, especially when your methods involve a more natural and humane way of handling pests. Plus, removing as much human error as possible is a plus.
@@JosephCartertheMinkMan this comment ^ Dogs are the true mvps.
I would guess they smell the difference so they always know which is coming out
@@JosephCartertheMinkMan Addressing 8:24 here: There was a simple saying my uncle, who had a Border Jack dog named Maisy that was used for ratting (and occasionally flushing rabbits), used to tell me when I questioned why she'd never grab things like bandicoots or possums, even in the dark; "The nose always comes before the mouth, _always."_ I don't think it'd be outta the question that the dogs might recognise the mink much more by scent than by sight, considering a lot of their world is experienced through smells, and considering they probably pick em' up far faster and more intensely than we do. That and the probably very rigorous training you do with em', I'm sure that'd make recognition even faster.
I think F1 is the only mink I have seen run with dogs to chase after the rat. She is an awesome little mink
I agree and when it's time to name her I hope there's something to reference her fierceness of running with the dogs!
Dances with wolves or dances with dogs
F1 definitely deserves a real name in honor of her skills, I totally agree.
There is a video I believe of Saber tailing a rat with dogs running alongside. Joe calls off the dogs then tho
@@peasil3330 yeah I saw that. There was also a lot debris that Saber can sort of escape from the dogs but F1 just ran with them out in the open, which is completely amazing for me
I think Maggie deserves a lot of credit for how well she captures the intense action going on in these videos. Also, it's nice seeing Joseph wear gloves while catching wild rats!
Thank you 😊
I hope he also wears steel boots now🤣
Right, professional grade camera work. I was glad to see the gloves too. I can imagine a rat getting those teeth under the nail.
Boss is the undisputed MVP of the entire outfit. What a rat killing monster.
Boss rules!!!
Boss can cover quite a bit of ground in a small amount of time
Boss had tactical trng with sherni 🙏🏻
4:56 It's crazy that with all the chaos happening the dogs still know not to target the mink
Mink: Im just hangin with my bros
😂😂
Ive seen dogs ignore a mouse in the middle of a rat hunt before. They sre clever.
@@sirgonzoofrotherham236you had mice and rats coexisting??
@@purest_evil where did I say they were coexisting? I said that a dog had ignored a mouse in the middle of a rat hunt.
Bindi is a testament to how incredible of a trainer you are. Her bringing you that rat without you even asking was precious
Facts!
She is proud of her success and want to show it to her owner 😂
My golden brought me a chunk of avocado from my neighbors tree that fell into our yard, we were picking it up after hurricane Ian because it is toxic to dogs, so she was showing us that she found something.
That's a LOT of rats ! I loved Boss' double play ! I was wondering that too, if the dogs have ever mistaken a mink for a rat in the all the chaos. Amazing.
I love seeing the dogs having the time of their lives chasing them down and doing a good job
RAT EIS SEED
That is the best part, how happy the dogs are!
It's a rat festival for the canines and minks.
F1 mink is showing signs of being an amazing hunter and she's not afraid to go after rats not much smaller than herself. And considering she's never worked with the dogs before, she sure knew who was friend or foe right here 7:48.
I'm so excited for this series! Maybe I'm bias because I'm the one filming but I think this series has by far the best clips of mink so far! These mink were absolutely remarkable even thought it was their first time in the field. I can't wait for people to see the rest of the videos! It was also such a cool experience helping these amazing farmers with their infestation and getting the new mink some experience. There is so much more amazing mink and dogs action coming down the pipeline!
You're doing such a good job, Maggie! Very steady movements, it must be hard to keep cool when everyone's running on adrenaline.
@@sabinewacheux1649 thank you! Some days are better than others but I hope I continue to improve my skills with the camera 😊
From another Maggie, you do a great job of filming the action Maggie 👍 🎥
U put a lot of us to shame, even mice I'm uptop of the table.
@@maggie_oshea thank you!! 😃
It was so precious seeing Bindi bringing you the rat. She was like, "look Dad! I got a rat for you!"
7:09 Boss was amazing! He heard that rat over by the building behind him while watching the feeding station
That little mink needs a kickass, strong name. Running with the pack and lethal and accurate kills for her first time. I see good things for her in the future! Good job everyone!
Always a pleasure seeing dogs work, fantastic seeing the mink go to work too. You have done a great job, not too many people have the touch, you do a good job running the team!
I agree.!!
7:50 How Leia managed to stop and not bite the mink there was incredibly impressive.
Yeah turned with open mouth to chomp on another but At last sec ...."o,that's the mink'o " turned away back to the hunt & chase. & the one dog kept putting rats in bucket. Wouldn't even show um off like it knew its job & that where they go when dead.
Little F1 has some good drive and is really good around the pups !! Not aggressive @ all towards them !! Straight up killer, for sure
I love the mink trying to keep up with Boss to run down a rat 😂"My poor little legs"
It’s like a symphony watching everyone working together.
Boss is such a perimeter. His wisdom always shines through. He's the last line of defense and a complete iron wall
I really enjoyed watching how well this mink worked. She’s very talented! As always, the dogs were amazing. Fat well fed rats. Great video today!
Boss is in his element on this massively open pheasant farm and he's defo showing the little ones why he's such a critical player in this team.
Always nice to see the whole team working so well together. That lil mink is a cutie pie, great job
man your channel has grown like crazy im so happy for you thanks for the content
That really is impressive I've been hunting for 20years well impressed with your dog's for sure 👍🏴
Wow! Great job F1. All your dogs and minks put a smile on my face especially Gypsy. She always has to make sure the rats are dead.
My dog would LOVE this. I bet they have so much fun grabbing those rats
And now my Friday is complete.
7:53 That was incredible. The dog may be excited but knew not to bother the mink. Really well done!!
4:56 That is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. So glad they got that on camera.
Female one did a great job, running with the dogs. Well done female 1 and dogs. From jacqui, Perth, Western Australia.
I love watching how the mink, and dogs work so well together, great job guys
I so enjoy watching you, your mink and dogs. I also enjoy it when you get the kids out for the adventures.
Absolutely amazing they all work as one.
Those Rats are so big wow! Keep it up Mr Carter.. One Love!!
You and your animals are simply amazing! The little mink in training is doing such a great job!
Can see why boss is the boss 😎
So smart, and responsive pet you have.. their are all well trained.. and amazing, and unbelievable mink, and dogs you have❤
Thanks for sharing this with all of us ☺️👍
I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Fascinating! Good job.
God, those dogs are having the best time of their lives!! I've never seen such happier dogs!!
Anyway, another GREAT VIDEO❤ thank you. I love to see your animals working so well together.
That is the cutest things thou.. Seeing the dogs and minks run after rats.. But it looks funny how they out ran her for the rat,,,,lol
Those were some healthy rats--big ol' boys. Loved that the mink seemed happy to be part of the pack. Maybe when you name her something like Mowgli. It's a boy's name, but it's the boy from the Jungle Book who runs with the wolves.
Your mink is such an awesome, amazing creature. I hope she lives a long, loving and productive life.
Brilliant vid. Really enjoy watching you work your animals. You’re great with them. 👍🏻💪🏻
This is brilliant! Hats off to you sir and your amazing teammates
an online friend and I were talking about energy outlets for her pittie mix pup and thought about your channel. She would love to teach the pup to hunt rats, but doesn't know where to start. Also, Bindi has just the cutest face! That blind retrieve was like "Dad? Dad? Look what I got. I do good?"
I am very happy with Mink jobs also with dogs works thanks guys 😊😊😊
Those rats where vicious they where biting the hell out of each other when u where holding them was crazy they almost sounded like mini pigs when they went nuts.
AS PER.... This video was AMAZING! F1 thinks shes 1 of the dogs in my view which cracked me up! Seeing her run with them 👍🏼🤣 I hope she does well @Joseph Carter, cant wait to see the other F's at work next. Huge respect from 🇬🇧
Watching the mink, F1, run with the pack was fun and exciting. And of course Bindy, Boss and Gypsy never disappoint. ❤
a new mink-vid!!! i LOVE it 😀
Perfect fearless killers! And they don't ask for gratitude) I'm amazed! Ratting is awesome
Enjoy your wholesome presentation.
Boss is so good he’s always catching the ones that think they got away
I like how Bindi also buckets rats she didnt kill
I have a German Shepard and love watching animals work and do what they love. The dedication is astonishing.
I am fascinated and would love to start a business here in Oklahoma… I already work with dogs so hopefully there would not be too much of a learning curve and I can really give some great jobs to people who are not working… Great idea… This business is a thing of beauty!
The mink did excellent work! And the rats were huge!
Boss and the mink work so well together..very well done for all the time n effort you have put in to get such a great team of working animals...I lovechow you have trained the mink to work on its own to come to call...Great set of dogs brilliant work ..keep it up..much love n I wish you more success in these coming months..
I love that you give the mink names as a title of rat hunting graduation. Awesome work, dude!
Could watch these dogs all day!! Love this channel!
Haven’t seen any of your videos for awhile. Great work you all are doing.
Amazing that the dog can distinguish between rat and mink in a split second in all that chaos. Their sense of smell is so incredible.
8:31 you answered the question as I was just about to type it…I guess it’s just natural instinct even with all the chaos that the dogs don’t grab a mink!!! Great video
Excelente travajo saludos desde Jalisco Mexico
Relatively new to your channel. I love how happy your animals look. Warms the heart. Thanks for the videos!
Amazing watching all of your great animals working these pest control job 👌
Amazing to see how the dogs and the mink work together.
You do realize.. these dogs ain't working... they are having so much fun... this is the life.... exercise, praise, treats and lots of loving.... what more could anyone want??
It's not fun.. it's 'the hunt'.
Boss is an assassin. He is a smart, patient, strategist and a graceful athlete. It's a thing of beauty to watch him work. He plays a helluva game of squash.
The moment in the video of the mink chasing the rat alongside the dog's is amazing and pretty cool. 🤩
Your relationship with your animals is amazing! I was so Worried about the dogs getting hurt on those sticks - they are so fast!
You should name F1 “Enola” because she’s Sherlock’s sister 😂 (show on streaming tv). She’s sassy and tenacious. All good qualities for a mink. 😉😋 Love your hunting videos. The mink and dogs are so fun to watch. Obviously loved as well. 😊
Fantastic upload Joseph, and that Mink is an absolute Minter!
I loved watching the mink in action. Mink videos are the best.
This reminds me of badgers and coyotes hunting together
This was really impressive. My first time watching something like this.
I’ve seen many similar comments but we’ve obviously seen mink chase down musk rats but what a machine this mink is chasing down rats with the dogs.
Nice work there Joe, something to be proud of how F1 worked. The dogs as always awesome job
Worth the watch ..thanks for the video
What a unique job‼️ Well done training the mixed hunting pack 🐾
Boss is an outstanding dog he has such a cool attitude with everything going on
She did absolutely great!
I could watch videos like these all day!!!!!!! I love the dogs and minks!!!!! The dogs are so awesome having fun
I am so impressed ,love working dogs, but never seen a mink do this. Very cool.
Amazing even in slow mo how the dogs have so much time to check what they're gonna bite F1 seems to have better vision/tracking on land in light conditions than I've seen before on your channel Love the team work, and boss's long legs 😂
New to the channel. I’m from the uk and watch the uk ratting channel and now subscribe to both. Amazing what you both do
I would have desposed of mink if it was around my pond but after seeing it on the job I will let next 1 pass. ♻️❤ your video has saved a mink. Good job on passing along what ya do. Thanx
Mink did a great job, what a wonderful creature made by God. God bless you guys and your family joseph!
I am addicted to watching your dogs and mink take care of rats. No danger to other wildlife or pets. I love watching them work. I love Boss. Keep up the great job.
Great little mink and those dogs work really well together. Super impressed with the one that drops the rats in the bucket!! And the fact that the dogs don’t get confused and attack the mink is awesome!! I would be very careful in watching my dogs for leptospirosis symptoms. It has to be caught early to avoid permanent organ damage or worse! Symptoms usually appear within a week to ten days after exposure.
I am sitting here in complete amazement! I have never seen anything like this in my life! Absolutely fascinating! And, I'm only at the 8 minute mark !😳😯
When you told the dog "bucket" and the dog put the rat in the bucket, so cool!
Very impressive! Great teamwork.
The mink and the doggies are great, love your videos!!!!!
Dogs are pretty amazing. Especially, when they are trained. My cousin had beagles he would use them to hunt deer and rabbit. And they only tracked deer when hunting deer and rabbit when hunting rabbit. Never would they sway it and it was the same dogs used for both. It's just incredible how smart they are.. They don't get enough credit.
This seems like the perfect set up for the mink and dog team. Especially Boss, those open spaces allowed him to shine.
What you have here is such a beautiful act of service to everyone. KZhead is out of control with the censorship
The puppies trying to help is so cute.
