I make it my business to add to my library of films that are based in “Our-Story.” There is an African Proverb that says something like: “Until the Lion tells the Story, the Hunter will always get the Glory.” Thanks for sharing. Peace!!

He got a scholarship to go to one of the most prestigious high schools in the country and he intentionally made friends with rich kids to get to their parents. He started cutting grass and doing odd jobs after school and on the weekends for these kids’ parents, until he got some much business that he hired his friends from his neighbourhood to help out. By the time he graduated high school he had amassed a clientele of the most rich and influential people in the country, I’m talking governors, Forbes CEOs and brokers etc. Bro is in college now doing internships are blue chip companies.

Even after chattel slavery, Black people have continued to be under the thumb of oppression on the basis of color alone. It was overt back then, today it's more covert.

They literally sent autistic children and kids with downs, in prisons/asylums alongside ped0s, gRAPISTS and lust-m*rderes. Back then it was all the same. If you were different, wether good or bad, you were deemed as a "m0r0n". The last of these asylums closed down in 1984. Humanity has never been kind to those that looked or acted different. Just one more reason why i loathe identity politics because it leads to tribalistic behavior, which usually ends up getting other people hurt.

  • I am free, white and over 21. I have had white privilege, but it has always felt a little wrong . I have lived in the deep south, and I have lived in cities like Detroit. Seeing my black brothers treated poorly has always hurt my heart. I don't feel guilty because I am white. I did nothing to deserve these privileges, as black people did nothing to deserve being treated like they are nothing. It simply is not fair that an entire race of people have been treated so poorly because of the color of their skin. There are many white people like me. I see myself as equal to all people. I was raised to be a racist. I thank God that I am not a racist. The politicians try to convince us that racism is permeating our country. Don't believe it! It is a tool to keep black people down. If I were black, I would refuse affirmative action. How can I have pride if the only reason that I got something in life is because I am black, but then again I will never be "free", black and over 21.

  • What a wife that waitress is. She urges toward goals though unraveling everything one step at a time. Ha, a time comes when he realize she lead him astray, and learns from her attitude she wasn't involved and neither invested anymore. Wise person knows the source of their blessings, and are cautious of those eager to lead though their they themselves depend on you. Truly, such is the likeness of one with ferocious thirst as they extend their hands for water and finds none.
