I’m a Cowboys fan and I also know too many Cowboys fans who, like me, simultaneously hate the Cowboys
Isn't that all Cowboys fans? I'm in that bucket as well.
I'm one as well. I love the Dallas Cowboys. But, to be honest, they don't really exist anymore and haven't for some time. They've been replaced with The Jones Family Cowboys, and that version has been a pain the ass to deal with since March of '94 when that ego-driven buffoon ran off our back-to-back champion head coach. It's been a clown show ever since. Bring on a new team to Dallas! I'm all for it.
Are you allowed to switch teams though? Wouldn't it be odd cheering against the Cowboys in a game? Especially if you've supported them for 10+ years, that'll be hard
@@aok2075 I mean, they used to be Mexico and they had no problem stabbing them in the back. I'd say jumping ship to a new team is in their DNA.
😂😂😂😂
The idea that Dallas could get a 2nd team before bringing football back to St. Louis/San Diego, is absolutely absurd.
St Louis is a historically horrible football market. I do agree with you on San Diego. The only probably there is California politics make it very, very hard to get things done, like building a stadium, for example.
It's not actually, I don't think people understand how big Dallas-Fort Worth is. I'd put one team in Fort Worth and have Cowboys as the Dallas team.
Both those cities just had teams leave due to poor markets. You must not follow football much…
Just because a place is over populated doesn’t mean it deserves one team, let alone two.
@@micahjohnsonboxing6409 Cowboys don't play in Dallas
And the Dallas Cowboys have been given up on because they are living off of their glory from 30 years ago XD
Most of us can't live off that anymore. Our hatred for Jerry has far surpassed our nostalgia.
Glory years, when some teams only have one, two good year or none at all. It's crazy how some team win one super bowl and fans get the audacity to run they mouth like they always been winning.
@@jaylucien669 as someone who has 0 interest in the team. Jerry's antics are truly amusing to me.
But there the most #1 team in the world(value)
@@aeis3007 I get it, believe me.
That might do Cowboys fans a service. Get Jerry to actually try to compete instead of just jersey sells.
It's a win-win scenario.
Or Jerry could just change the name and become the Arlington cowboys like what pat said because why fight for a city that doesn't want you
Jerseys don’t move the needle bro, it’s all about butts in seats
As a Dallas native and a Cowboys fan I agree
Cowboys have the largest fan base in the NFL. A second team in Dallas would wither
They finally have even divisions, don’t expect a new team in the NFL anytime soon!
Elon should start a team in Austin
Still need to work on geographical locale and screw "history" Dallas is an "Eastern" team? yeah... I don't think so. But hey look how long it took the NFC West to actually resemble teams from the western part of the country! At one point St Louis, Carolina, Atlanta & New Orleans were all in the "west"
what sounds more likely from billionaires? "we listen to the public to give them the best product" or "MONEY $$$$$$ fk the public"
it could work if they added 4 teams and realign divisions to be 3 6 team divisions. idk if thatll ever happen but im sure the nfl will consider it at some point
@@Mike__B what do you mean? They would fit in the AFC South in a realignment and out the Colts in the NFC Central where it would actually make a ton of sense geographically.
I'm surprised Texas doesn't have more teams. As big as football is in Texas, it makes sense to me. I'm even more surprised that LA has 2 teams when the locals couldn't care less about football.
I think the league forced a 2nd LA team bc they didn't want the Rams to have 12-19 mil people to themselves (depending on if San Bernardino counts as LA metro), but if they really wanted 2 thriving LA teams, they would've just put the Raiders there
@@iancypes5911 I think something kinda shady happened in that deal that resulted in two teams at the same time. I don't know what, but it just seems off to me.
I agreee I’m a local and it’s bs we have so many teams lol
Cause They don't like Jerry Jones anymore
Fr my family loves football but people here don’t care
Imagine the new team wins a playoff game before the cowgirls lmao
*"Yes, give San Antonio a team. Just a few of those big ole women alone will fill the stands."* - Charles Barkley (probably)
🥵
Lol
Anytime I think of San Antonio I always think of the Charles Barkley quote.
There'll be Churro stands in every section.
Could of fooled me I was under the impression that Dallas didn't really have a team to begin with.
Not in a long time.
lamest joke ever considering they're the richest team in the world for like 8 years running
@@tonyc1974 I thought Pro Football was about winning games, championships, and Super bowls, not accumulating money. Isn't that more the area of stock market trading? Maybe Jerry should stick to that if that's what he's interested in.
Thank you Pat for mentioning San Antonio first, we want a team so bad!
They would be the Oakland A’s of the NFL
LMFAO! How? Please explain your "logic."
@@jaylucien669 The SF giants dominate that market. Oakland A's are perpetually irrelevant except for the movie moneyball.
Dallas is the wealthiest franchise in football and top 5 of all sports in the world.
@@Kinogotiate no, Dallas is much wealthier than Oakland and people don't like Jerry Jones.
@@Kinogotiate Yeah, man, the Dallas Cowboys are significantly wealthier than the Oakland Athletics. Example: Oakland Colosseum- 60yrs old. AT&T Stadium- 13yrs old. Plus the 49ers and Raiders co-existed for many years. The only reason the Raiders aren't there now is due to the back asswards California business policies and taxes. Texas is completely opposite and 100% pro-business.
Jerry Jones is not into the idea of San Antonio or Austin getting a team, at all, so no way in hell he permits another team in Dallas. Also just feels like a bad idea given how entrenched the Cowboys are in Dallas. A new team in Dallas trying to compete with the Cowboys will do way worse from the jump than the Chargers have done in LA. At least the Chargers have an existing fanbase and history for decades they bring along - a new NFL team in Dallas has none of that and would be competing with a team with one of, if not THE, largest fanbases in the NFL. Makes way more sense to give San Antonio a team if Texas were to get a third team. A second team in Dallas would never grow out of the Cowboys' shadow
I can see why Jerry doesn't want a San Antonio team, the moment San Antonio gets a team, he loses the entirety of the south texas/chicano market to it.
The Cowboys only have their legacy as a shadow; it’s not like they are doing anything good these years.
Spurs attendance is still pretty good with a mediocre team, the AFL team they had for a summer had the most attendance for the league, makes sense for San Antonio to get a team
Austin just got the soccer team so why not screw it
South Dallas has some of the most diehard loyal Cowboy fans, and that’s where they want to put the new team stadium. Terrible idea!!!
San Antonio should be the next city in Texas to get a team, not a 2nd team for a city.
Or Austin.
@@aaronhiggs Build the stadium in San Marcos and you get both San Antonio and Austin. Win win situation 👍🏻
@@keeganbrown9967 I agree San Marcos or New Braunfels. Let the 2 markets share the franchise.
Nah I live in San Antonio way too many die hard cowboys fan
Austin is the nicer more burgeoning city, but if there was another team in Texas would they have fans or would they end up like the chargers? Are people gonna give up the cowboys?
The answer is San Antonio! We need one before Dallas needs a second team.
U have the Spurs
@@jordyjohn2275 you have the Mavs Stars and Rangers 😂
Agree 100%. San Antonio deserves a team more than any other city
If the Alamo Dome hadn't been such a 2nd rate, half ass project SA would've had the NFL by now.
We need is code for I want. Texas doesn’t need another team, California and Florida already have too many. Just throwing teams into over populated areas doesn’t work.
When you're sick of your main team being national embarrassments, you seek a second team to put your hopes in
Make no mistake, we're sick of Jerry Jones and his entire family. We can't get rid of them, so the next best thing is to put our support behind another local franchise.
@@jaylucien669 speak for yourself jerry is the man and has done so much for the city of dallas
@@anthonygaertner2396 You're one of the fools who keeps pumping in money into his machine of failure. Also, Jerry hasn't done a damn thing for the City of Dallas. Of course you need a second team if you're a Cowboys fan, I mean who else are you supposed to root for in January?
LOL. So true. We're a Cowboys family from grandparents to grandkids and every one of us has a bandwagon team.
Cowboys really struggling to continue being “America’s team” nowadays. Can’t be America’s team if you can’t even remain the only NFL team in your own city.
America also likes winners!
Not if you live in Texas
They don’t win much but by far most popular.
Their America's team for their popularity and yes im a Cowboys fan so imma go ahead and remind yall we still have more superbowls then most of yalls favorite team so let's calm down now lmao
Dude, I'm a life-long Cowboys fan and Dallas area resident. The truth is the Cowboys haters nation wide are what make that America''s Team thing what it is. They give that organization more attention and publicity than anyone else. Bringing in another team won't effect that one damn bit. In Baseball did the Giants, Dodgers, and Mets water down the Yankees? Nope. Have the Clippers, even with their recent success, ever pose a threat to the Lakers? Nope. If anything the rivalry the Cowboys would have with another Dallas team would in fact enhance their whole America's Team status.
As a native Texan, I can tell ya a whole lotta people down here are getting awfully tired of ol' Jerry.
Especially here in San Antonio. I'm ready to jump ship the second we get our own team
My dad (a lifelong cowboys fan) is sick and tired of that bozo , Jerry has lost his touch and needs to sell the team
Oh you bet we are.
How about a state that doesn't have a team?
theres a reason they dont bud
Oklahoma
Dallas doesn't need any more teams give a State that doesn't have a team or give St.Louis a NFL team again
St. Louis is a TERRIBLE football market. They've literally ran off every NFL team they've ever had.
Utah (SLC) would be a better option but I could see Toronto, and Vancouver Canada Edit: OKC is another option
Dallas doesnt need a new team, just force the Jones to sell. it is not about a second team, it is about the hate of the Jones
@@rh81454 a team there would be cool.
@@Barfyman362. Would be nice
Oklahoma, Alabama, San Antonio, St.Louis, etc... Tons of places need a team. Maybe one day in the future they can do an expansion, that adds one team to each division.
Idaho and Oregon are also huge football states with no pro teams. Mind blowing they don’t expand to these hardcore college football states and decide to give LA and NY two teams
Im for Oklahoma being i live here
it would make for huge divisions but if they only wanted to add 4 teams instead of 8 they would make 3 divisions of 6
I live in Alabama and from what I understand we have a huge sports market!! I'm all for a pro team
@@daniellucas6668 I'm not even a Bama fan. Tbh, no offense but I gotta dislike them. But and NFL team there I would probably cheer for (as long as the aren't in the NFC South)
This is like if Alabama was trying to get a MLB team while being part of "Braves Country". You just don't do that. There's a natural order of things.
Or it’s just an old way of doing things.
I dont watch this show everyday, so it's rather funny seeing the desk clutter grow in bits.
Would actually like to see the NFL expand into Canada and Mexico first before London and compete with their football leagues
Unfortunately the CFL makes that impossible
Imagine getting drafted and having to move to Juarez
Do you keep up with Mexico at all? Apparently not lol
Did you keep up with the MLB and the NHL for 2 years when both leagues had to be altered completely because of COVID lockdowns and restrictions... cost the leagues Millions ... no thanks Canada!

First off, no self-respecting Texan will ever love, much less worship, any hillbilly buffoon from the state of Arkansas. Secondly he's absolutely destroyed the legacy of our once proud and beloved Cowboys. That franchise is nothing more than that old fool's big boy toy, and we're fed up with it. Fed up with him. San antonio is the biggest city without a football team so I would say that would make the most sense. Or maybe put a team back in St.Louis. I'm not a fan of two teams in one city to begin with because it just segments the market. New York is the only one in my opinion that makes sense because it's literally the biggest in the country. but not Dallas. They will always be the little brother team to the cowboys
Do we want another team in Dallas? No Do we want Jerry and his minions gone? Abso~fucking~lutely

Same thing here with Hockey in Toronto. The city or Greater Toronto area could easily facilitate 1 or 2 NHL teams.
Not 1 person in America wants Dallas to have another team
They'd be lower there than the Clippers or Chargers are in Los Angeles.
Naw, Dallas is in the heart of football country. An AFC team that played in Dallas on Sundays the Cowboys weren't playing there would draw a lot of fans.

Just throwing something out there, how expensive is it to go see the 'Boys? Would a second team allow folks out of price range a chance to see NFL games live?
Having only been to a game in Jacksonville, I can tell you 100% it will not be that much difference- people forget that nfl teams are business- it’s about profit. Personally I’ve got a die hard raiders buddy- I would go to Vegas for a game - but would never pay for any other game/place - it’s such a rip off vs the fun you can have at parties
Yes. Parking is 80 bucks off rip. A 2nd team in the city of Dallas will give us a chance.
80 for the cheapest
I feel like the most profitable move for the NFL would be to put a team in Toronto. No doubt the second Dallas team could be very profitable, but if the NFL is focused on growing world wide, where there’s even MORE money to be made, a solid team to represent all of Canada could be that, plus CFL is basically like a minor league, I’m sure a lot of die hard CFL fans would love to see some NFL talent on their side of the border. Just a thought.
That would destroy the bills market. Buffalo and Toronto are only 2 hours apart and Canadians make up a significant chunk of Bills Mafia. The bills are already a small market team, they can’t afford that competition

I live in Dallas and the Cowboys aren’t nearly as popular as everyone outside of Dallas thinks they are. Many fans are sick and tired of Jerry trying to be the coach and GM.
I moved to Dallas 2 years ago and I was shocked by the lack of Cowboys fans out and about. @@Scotter4536 completely agree. I was equally shocked at the lack of diehard fans. Cowboys aren’t America’s team anymore but the media loves to push that narrative.

As someone in Texas who has grown up with nothing but Cowboys hype and Texans debacles, please give us a third team.
Sorry, buddy but some states don't even have 1 team lol I think it would be cool if we got some Canadian teams
We don’t need two obnoxious fan base teams in Dallas. Don’t need two teams in one city in general, it’s so stupid. If the NFL wants a expansion team, I can think of 3 cities: San Diego St. Louis Salt Lake City
San Antonio too
Mark Cuban in the shadows nodding approvingly. 😆
I think most of us want 1 less team in Dallas not one more 😂😂😂
Does Houston even want the Texans? Just let them Slide Over to Dallas
The Texans would have no fans if they left Houston so I hope that’s a joke. If either Texas team weren’t so mediocre I don’t think there’d be talks of a 3rd success brings the most fans after all.
Cowboys don’t even play in Dallas , I never considered them a “Dallas” team like the Mavs, or Stars. They are just a Texas legacy team for the city less Yeehaw’s. Put the new team in south Dallas, put up a metro line there to have it easily accessible and I guarantee the city would rally around it. Everyone from California is moving to Texas anyway so just bring the Chargers too.....
San Antonio doesn’t deserve a team. After going to the conference championship and the Alamo Bowl, the venue couldn’t even provide parking. It was a logistical nightmare. Until San Antonio could fix this, the city doesn’t deserve a team.
