Yeah when you suspend a guy for 6 games for hitting another player on the head with his helmet and you suspend players that are involved in domestic abuse of women (mostly spouses) for 4-6 games, then when someone like Calvin Ridley bets a small amount in himself to do well, he’s suspended indefinitely. And you allow deshaun Watson a chance to even play again at all in the nfl, people are going to be upset

Yeah I am not a big fan of Jerry, but I have to agree with him. They can keep Goodell but making 63.9 million a year is ridiculous. To put this into perspective Goodell makes over 3 time more than the CEO of McDonalds. Last Year McDonald's made nearly 24 billion dollars in revenue and the NFL brought in 17.9 billion in revenue. Again, how does the NFL bring in 2/3 of the revenue but the "CEO" makes over 3 times the salary of McDonalds CEO? Doesn't make any sense.
Not sure what you mean by that. Business wise the league is bigger than its ever been, franchise values have higher than ever, tv deals are bigger, and the owners are making more money than ever.
@@edledskal9147 I think if you look at the annualized growth rate of the NFL it is a lot higher than McDonald’s. CEOs job is to both grow and not fuckup the business. If someone is growing it more then they should be paid more. I do think goodell is a clown though but he’s a good businessman

Personally, I can't stand Goddell, but no one can deny the guy knows how to bring in the cash. The TV deals they have signed, and the one they are still deciding on for Sunday Ticket, show they are a huge cash cow. Now maybe someone else can do the job as well, but why would they do it for less?

Plot twist: it's all rigged for gambling purposes i.e. the big push for the mobile apps over the last few years. Jerry is tired of taking phantom punches and throwing games (not winning s.b.) and would rather have the real prestige returning to the game.
