I found myself in both situations informal and formal. It is incredible how the person on the other side reacts when you asked more politely and kind :)) Thanks for the video.

Am loving your videos. Started German with Duolingo, but your videos are filling in all the gaps. Also like Herr Antrim's videos, but his examples, though funny, can sometimes be overwhelming with vocabulary. Yours are simple and clear. Thank you!

Vielen Dank, Luzi! I like the way this can match polite English at times, too: "Could you tell me where the elevator is?"
🙏😊 Gerne. Ja zum Glück 😊😊
Please upload the list of B1 dativ verbs.. waiting eagerly for that
I have a question . Thank you for every time you spared your time to reply i know you probably have a lot to do , but you still respond to my comments and I am really grateful.... So my question is Kennen (to know somone/something) is it an adjective?. And is there any tip as for how to quickly while talking to somone form german sentances because there are a lot of thinks to have in mind it is easy to write sentances because you are not time limited. You can tske your time and think like this is a modalverb other verbs i have to put at the end , this adjective is before the noun i have to ad an ending to the noun.... You get what i want to say, thats a suggestion for a whole video , or you can just reply to it as you choose and thank you again a lot.
interessantes Video ☺️😊danke
Gerne 😊
Könnten Sie mir bitte zeigen, wo mein Autoschlüssel ist?
Luzi great lesson. I have a question when shopping and the store staff ask “can I help you’ in English we say ‘just looking thank you’ what are the standard or common or standard German phrases I could use. Thanks.
👍😊 good question “Ich will mich mich nur umschauen, danke.” Unfortunately not very short… ☺️
Wir kommen in neun Tagen wieder zurück. In this sentence why it is Tagen (Dativ) instead of Tage (Akkusativ)?
Thank you for the lesson Herr Luzi, I'm sure I'll use wo ist die Toilette again but I'll do my best :D
💪👍😊
Please do more levels b1 b2 c1 c2
Toujours très intéressantes ces vidéos. Cela permet à un français ( moi ) qui balbutie la langue de Shakespeare et massacre la langue de Goethe , de progresser dans les deux disciplines. Vielen dank et Thank you very much.

Hallo Luzi. Wie geht's. I have been watching and following your videos to improve my German. However I have 1 doubt. When using 3rd person singular "sie" and 3rd person plural "Sie" I am getting confused when the sentence starts with either Sie or sie because both starts with a upper case like "Sie". So when starting a sentence for 3rd person singular, do we start the sentence with a small s like "sie" or "Sie" ? - Please advise. Need your help in this. Vielen Dank. Auf Wiedersehen. Tschuss !!! - Also I love your channel and the way you explain and pronounce each word so clear and crisp. Cheers !!!
🙏😊 For example you would need to start with “Sie” capitalized since its the first word of the sentence.
🙋🏽♀️👏🏼👏🏼🥳 Thanks for the video. Very essential información, we don ‘t want to be rude by anymeans😅🎉 excelent video. Thanks, thanks, and thanks. 🙋🏽♀️🥳🥳🥳
👍😊
I was wondering if once the conversation or interaction has begun, is it still appropriate to keep asking “can you please tell me this, can you please tell me that, can you please tell me something else??? Or does the conversation become less formal once the first interaction or question has been broached.
Good question 👍 And yes you can change to more direct questions once the the conversation has started. But if you want to make sure you get the best answer, indirect is the best choice.
Thank you so much
❤
Please i want the difference between Könnten And würden

Entschuldigung, können Sie mir sagen wann Sie das nächste neue video machen?

Never compare yourself with others. Only with yourself.
Können Sie mir sagen, ob Sie der B2.1 online Kurs haben?

Hallo lehre Try to make videos in b1 level
I dont even know what a department store is. Its funny that when im trying to learn german that i dont fully understand the english either 😂 i think some of the language is american english. We have a shop. Small shops that stand alone or in a row. I wouod just call that a shop. If it is a shop that sells furniture i call it a furniture shop same with clothes, fishing tackle, etc. If it is general food and stuff its just a shop. If its a supermarket i call it a supermarket. If its a huge building with lots of shops inside then i call it a shopping centre. So what is a department store in my language?
Ahh last week just visited Germany😅
I have a question. I would be pleased if you had the time to respond(in any way thank you)... So the question is, the sentance: Ich habe keinen anzug fur die Oper Why isn't Oper in dative , i know that anzug is accusative because: you don't have what? A suit... To get to the point why isn't Oper dative? Ich is the subject it can't be that... Could you please explain it to me.
für + Akkusativ
@@yourgermanteacher thank you a lot!
Das klo bitte 😂
😂 ja geht auch
I would like to ask what the difference between gern and gerne. Ich würde gern wissen statt ich würde gerne wissen. I have always said gerne, not gern.
Same same
Vielleicht könnten Sie mir bitte sagen, wo die Toilette ist, wenn es möglich wäre ....aber schnell! Ich muß dringend!
😂
Thank you, German teacher! But I do think that, when you're first learning the language, the shorter question (spoken non-aggressively and politely) is probably better. Saves time and the conversation from being too arduous....for both information-seeker, and those charged with providing the best (and quickest) service.
I will disagree with you this time :) Actually in a full restaurant or coffee bar etc. the waiters are always in hurry and no one got time for you to exercise your bad and slow foreign language :D Especially people who work with many clients every day. Everyone of them prefers short questions that take 3 seconds, than 15 seconds... So "Hi/Sorry Wo ist die Toilette?" passt gut. Anyway in any other public buildings your examples are very very useful :)
In a very busy restaurant, yes this might be the better option true. 😊👍
Not good idea use better language than logals. In tourist places they been heard all levels. Be clear and quick and give a tip.
:D
:D+:)Xinfinity
Nice
I swear to God, knowing some material or some subject is one thing. Knowing how to explain it and teach others is a whole different set of skills. These two men are top notch teachers. I am not even studying actively due to my law college, I just gave myself a task: Instead of watching random reels and shorts on youtube or instagram for hours, I will watch these videos as I go around the house, on breaks, while I eat etc. And even like this, I feel that german language is slowly ‘entering my ear’. I am not the best at talking but I sure do understand a lot when someone speaks in german. 😄
Vielen Dank 😊🙏 Glad our videos are helpful.
