A common problem for German learners are these two A2 level prepositions: "aus" & "von".   • I just took B2 Pflege Prüfung last Aug 26. Did some rest and check out this channel immediately since I don't to be stagnant with my Deutsch. Nur habe ich gewissen dass, AUS ist benutzt fur die Landen und Stadte. Und VON ist OF in Englisch. Also, sehr hilfereich fur mich weiter. Ich hoffe dass, du kannst dich an mich erinnern. Question: so Strand and Park use different prepositions, even though they are both open places, correct? - Ich gehe in den Park - Ich gehe zum Strand so when coming back it is: - Ich komme aus dem Park - Ich komme vom Strand Is this correct? So green places like forests and parks are exceptions or every word has its own rule? Thanks

  • I think that it's very interesting, if you upload the video for some two different german words that has the same meaning. One from the former of the western Germany. And the other from the former of the eastern Germany. Just like in english : lift/UK and elevator/USA minister/UK and secretary/USA and so on.... Thank you very much.

  • Off topic question... I live in upstate New York and we have a lot of Aldi stores. For some reason they are considered to carry lower quality items compared to other supermarkets. Is that the case in Germany and Europe?

  • Every once in a while I used to fall on this trap, to over rely on a translator. Even though I'd known and had been fully aware it has a one way interpretation. It's not interchangeable. Refining an art requires a great deal of patience. Like a take it or leave it kind of game.

  • So you say for movement it’s accusative then the next example with Aus (taking Coke out of the fridge) it’s dative. In German is it not considered a movement to take something out? I’m confused

  • 'Ich komme von den Philippinen' is probably an exception. Although I have read that you can use 'aus' but countries that are Islands and country at same time should use 'von' more appropriately than 'aus' 😅😊
