The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's much-anticipated interview with Oprah Winfrey has aired in the US - with the couple sharing their side of the story about life in the Royal Family.
The couple spoke about their relationships with other royals, racism and how their mental health suffered.
Meghan spoke with Oprah for most of the interview, before being joined by Prince Harry.

I hope Oprah feels embarrassed for her lack of research on that hideous interview
Doubtful since it makes the wallet fatter and she gets attention for it. But I feel embarrassed for her since the greed for money and ratings permeates from every pore of Oprah in this interview.

Harry's complaint to Oprah that Charles let him down by cutting him off financially show that the almost middle aged, spoiled brat sense of entitlement never left him as he grew into adulthood. He claims all he had was his mother inheritance which about 14 million dollars. Get a one million dollars house and use the 13 million to pay for your own food, security, travel, medical and raising your children. His idea of being independent is that of being supported by others. As for his and Markle's claim of the racist remark about Archie's skin color, the palace should demand that they name the person who made that remark and hold that person responsible even if it means the end of the monarchy. If Harry and Markle lied then Harry should be suspended from the line of succession and never be allowed to become a working royal again. His grandfather is in the hospital for weeks and he was riding an LA bus drinking tea and singing and dancing to Fresh Prince of Belair song, but on Oprah he put on a sad face playing the victim of his father not taking his phone calls and cutting him off financially. A self centered hypocrite.
FYI markle made it sound it was during the pregnancy. Harry said it was prior to getting married. Why the inconsistency 💁🏻

What I can't understand is - they both claim it was "unbearable" yet, she's so disappointed Archie wasn't given the title of 'prince'. Whilst I acknowledge they didnt actually want 'out' from the royal family, they wanted a half in, half out approach so me-gain could make as much money and get as much fame from it as possible but yet, they've done nothing but complain about how bad they had it yet still clearly, desperately wanted a title for their son. The "Earl of Dumbarton" wasn't enough for her and she wanted the prince title. They are pathetic!!
What she wanted was the title of Prince for her son, all her security paid for, Harry to still wear his uniforms & turn up to a couple of events a year so they can still appear Royal, all whilst Harry’s wife tries to earn as much money & fame from this as possible, whilst not doing any of the day to day boring Royal Family work, like meeting the public etc.

Why didn't Harry do the same for Meghan? If she felt suicidal and told Harry, why didn't he immediately contact his counselor to get help for her? Harry said he didn't tell anyone about Meghan's mental health struggles--so how is it the royal family's fault that she didn't get help if they didn't even know?

However something about this interview or claims don't seem as though that's all there is to it. I feel the monarchy might have failed her but I don't think she's a saint either. Also Oprah's questions and mannerism during the interview showed whose side she already believed and appeared a bit bias. It would have been better if it was a someone with a neutral point of view especially with the topic of race. More so, most answers were implied and vague and not tell-all as claimed.
Sooo....Meghan says that the skin color remark happened "in those months when I was pregnant" but Harry states that it was "right at the beginning" when "there were some real obvious signs before we even got married, that this was going to be really hard". He even corrects Oprah when she says, "what will the baby look like" by stating "what will the kids look like", I assume because "the baby" wasn't even on the way yet. Why 2 different stories?
Im really confused. I thought they left to have privacy. At the time I thought thats a shame Harry always seemed such a good guy but if thats what will make them happy then good luck to them. I think the opposite is true. The royal family have been working for years to create this celebrity status for themselves, to create their own "reality show" where they are completely unpolitical. Not allowed to talk about social issues or take a stance on anything, because that's not "what the people want". In reality, they act this way because public perception of them is all that matters. When people realise that they actually serve no purpose whatsoever, especially with so many people in poverty in this country right now, they'd lose all that power and money. Well it's not so much about the rich royals living there but rather that we are paying them to live there. As long as the monarchy behaves "Royal" everything is fine, in fact I expect most English don't mind (or at least turn a blind eye towards) having some of their hard earned tax money go towards preserving such a fine institution. However when it is comes out that even one of them is corrupt and a bigot and possibly a race hater, it questions the value of the entire institution in the first place. Of course if they didn't dip into taxpayer money then none of this would matter, they are entitled to their land and to do and say whatever they damn well pleased.

Even in the business world and entertainment industry.. Before entering, everyone knows the rules and regulation. Sometimes the entertainment world is more ugly than monarchy. Each sides if have the wisdom, will sit down and discuss and create change as amicably. The queen is in dilemma hoping history will not happen or repeat itself like the case of Princess Diana. Must act prudently from both sides for the greatest good of humanity.. Meghan think who she is ? A monarchy of over 100 years and both Queen and her husband added up 200 years old, have already given in so much and listen with understanding and now still so much nonsense. As we grow older, we should be getting more wiser. If unsuitable for monarchy lifestyle, give up wholeheartedly and live a simple and seclusive life. The Queen has been very generous and kind over these years. Learn to be appreciative and be humble when you have been given a grand and worldly recognised wedding. We must think deeply the impact and talk with the right reasoning and objective to give convincing speech. Paparazzi has done more harm than benefits over generation.

To be honest, I am an Asian and i live in Asia. I'm not really following the news about the Royal Family, but The Great Britain Royal Family with no doubt is the most popular Royal Family in here. Everyone recognize them, and love them. And to be very honest, after watching the interview with Harry & Meghan, surprisingly me and my family have more respect towards the Royal Family especially William & Kate. They are really fit for the throne, cause they just never priotize themselves and know their duty well. Its sad to see an outsider, came in and acted like she can broke and control one of the longest monarchy in the world!
